How old are you, and what do you do?

OK, just reading through the 'rack' thread made me realise how little I actually know about some of you guys. So I thought I'd ask two simple questions to get started:

1) How old are you?
2) What do you do for a living?

I'll start: I'm 22, and work for a bank (but not at a bank, I work in their asset / finance division).

I'm 30 and work for a pricing service (ex. Black & Decker pays us to compile their prices for retailers). NNCW Paul Douglas would be GREAT at what I do

23 and I order supplies for a large Medical Claims Processing company and about 10 of it's offices from Denver to New York as well as run the mail room of the local office. Of course, this is only until I get my big (relatively speaking) break into professional wrestling and the world of MMA. What can I say, I like to fight. And getting paid to do so wouldn't hurt either.

I turn 32 in two weeks. I work for Checkpoint Systems, an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) supplier, as a Loss Prevention Consultant. My client is Ingles Supermarkets, a 200+ location grocery store chain located in NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, and AL. Basically, I have to travel around to all 200+ stores, making sure their inventory control systems are working properly, they are putting security tags on the correct merchandise, following proper procedures set out by Ingles' corporate office, and give advice to Store Managers on how to better utilize their systems. I am on the road Monday-Thursday, and I meet with Ingles' VP of Loss Prevention on Friday mornings and let him know what happened that week. It's a pretty decent job, because I get a company car, I get paid for gas, and I can pretty much set my own schedule. I can't complain.

Nice long answer for just a simple question, huh?

I'm 25.

I work about 10 hours a week during the day at Suncoast at the mall, selling extremely overpriced DVDs for money to play around with.

I work full-time at nights at a four-star hotel. I've been cross-trained so in theory I can do almost anything, but right now I work in the transportation department, so my duties consist of approx. 15% driving people to and from the airport, 15% passive-aggresively torturing co-workers, and 70% watching TV or DVDs on the maintenace guy's laptop.

I'm going to back to school in January, though

I am 25 and going to college in New Paltz, NY for my bachelors in journalism. I also waitress part time at a crappy restaurant where I make just barely enough money to live from week to week.
When school is in session, most of my time is taken up working with NORML/SSDP organizing our events on campus. During the summers I work with my aunt as a wildlife rehabilitator in upstate NY.

Lorey's a journalist-in-training. All right!! Welcome to the club.

I'm turning 39 next week, and an an editor for the publishing department of Electronic Data Systems (EDS). I used to report and edit in the newspaper and magazine field, but decided I'd rather do things like own a house rather than work 50 hours a week chasing down cops and robber stories and reporting on political nutjobs.

Don't let Moose see you saying crap like "Gooder" I couldn't bare to see my poor BTR with an antler up his ass.

One day, I'd like to go to school and gets me an edumacation as well also. Stoopid college kids and their big words and their smaller difficult words and ambitions for the future.

YOu know, I really should try out for Ultimate Fighter. Just so someone can shut my damn mouth about how good a fighter I think I might be. I was real close to signing up for a Toughman Contest (remember those) but my Petty Officer restricted me. Though I ddi get to meet (read see and not say anything because I snuck out) Kurt Angle as a result. Though I'm already kind of enrolled in a wrestling school. Soon as I pay my tuition, they might even let me take a bump or two before the new year.

Of all the people that have posted so far, I am most surprised at AA's age. I don't know, he just doesn't strike me as a "I'm a few years away from buying a two seater and marrying some 19 year old porn star"

2Hot must have abs of steel if he's doing the underwear model thing.

Much like Chris, his job is good.

Hah, I wish there was a Hooters close enough to work at. At least I'd be making way better tips than I am now.

I'm 27, a part time professional videogame tester, part time zamboni driver for the Columbus Blue Jackets, and on the weekends I'm a referee/DJ for underground ultimate fighting contests at a local strip club/brothel. I also bought a ton of Microsoft stock for around 26 cents a share when I was a little kid.

I'm doing alright.

Ummm...thanks for the compliment??

I bought my equivilant of a two-seater last year, but got the Porsche Cayanne instead of the 911. Can't bring your racing bike to a triathlon in a two-seat coupe. As for the 19-year-old porn star, I think I'm cradle-robbing enough with my 34-year-old wife. She's a teacher, BTW. No porn credits that I know of, though when she performed theater she did once wear just a bra and a slip in a scene for six straight weeks.
