As a part-time lurker and someone who's only paid attention here and there since 2005, I'm going to risk an observation. What the WWE does is something different from every other wrestling promotion. It is heavily TV-based. Anyone who works for them has to learn how to work their specific, TV-friendly style, which I suspect from my limited experience (never worked with them, only with people who have) is substantially different from wrestling live, or even anyone else's TV style. Some people are naturally better suited for TV than in-arena, or at least might need more training, aside from their technical wrestling skills. I chime in only because I'm reminded of this dude.
