I concluded this week's RAW recap with a very long rant that was more directed at myself than anything else, so I just wanted to take a moment to make a public toast (or something) to our very own Matt Hocking.

I don't know how you do this every week. Not only do you have to sit through this crap, but you find ways to make it funnier, more entertaining, and more clever than I could ever possibly hope to achieve. I tip my cap to the Satire, man. Episodes like this, I don't see how there's enough polish in the world to make the turd produce anything but one giant, awful stench.

Thanks! Though to be fair, the switch that makes me watch wrestling and think it's anything but something silly for me to make fun of got turned off back when I was a WCW fan in the early 00s.

You know it's 9 years (plus) now between doing the Satire and reaching way back to my Geocities site, and I don't really know how I keep going at this point either. Like some kind of wrestling zombie. I am the Tim Arson of wrestling commentary.

I think it probably helps that I can't watch the shows live anymore. I don't have to take copious notes and I can kind of just ruminate whatever stupid crap just happened.

And not to make this a mutual lovefest, but I do really enjoy your recaps as well. It's a great format that lays out the necessary information without all the chaff, and still gives you room to provide your take. I imagine that's more difficult, in a lot of ways, than doing word for word transcripts every week, and that extra level of effort is much appreciated.

Get a room, you two.

You guys are both bad asses. I mean, I don't read either recap, but, just the fact that you're doing it - I respect that.

A quick kudos to PyroFalcon for writing word for word the Rock's promo. I really *do* read his recaps and greatly appreciate them.
