The Post WM, 2017 Roster Cull Thread
I figure there's going to be enough of these over the next few weeks to give it it's own thread:
First up: Simon Gotch!
Well his main roster run didn't go well: he injured Enzo, had a fight with sin cara, then lost 257 times. For the best.

So Gotch's firing was it's own thing and the summer of firing still isn't officially upon us?
Honestly, timing like this is pretty cruel for a round of firings. Roster is just focused on finding out which brand they'll end up on just to
receive a call that they're going to neither brand. Just imagine all the ''drafted to Impact'' jokes.

Apparently it's bullshit, and Gotch is claiming he asked for his release- he's lining up interviews in which he will apparently explain
all...
I imagine this is just the start though, and when they're done moving people around and up from NXT, some people will be surplus to
requirements; and released to go flounder at Impact...

Do we add Mauro Ranello to the "culled" list? He has removed all mentions of him being a WWE announcer on his social media and the WWE sent out a
release that just stated how long Mauro is under contract still. My guess is he doesn't make an appearance on WWE prior to his expiration date.

The Mauro / JBL / Justin Roberts stuff could warrant its own thread...
Coach is done with WWE too. Apparently it takes a lot of his personal time to cover it, and he doesn't have the time any more due to a big
project. No word on who will be doing it going forward, or if it will continue at that level.
Meltzer seems to think he's backing away from WWE because of the Mauro stuff.

It jives with what Meltzer said that "others" have reached out to him to corroborate JBL's behavior. Coach seems like he was probably
constantly picked on by the boys both on screen and off.
