Metroid Prime 4 announced for Switch
So Nintendo's big surprise announcement today at E3 is that Metroid Prime 4 is in the works for the Switch. There's no official release
date yet (and only a brief teaser trailer, with no gameplay footage, was shown), but I assume it'll be sometime in 2018. My only minor
reservation is that Retro Studios, who made the first three games, isn't developing this one, but otherwise I have 100% faith in Nintendo making
a kickass fourth installment. Also, I can't believe it's been ten years since Metroid Prime 3 was released on the Wii.
And in a bit of other Nintendo news, Super Mario Odyssey has been confirmed for an October 27th release date (which is way sooner than I would have
thought) and a new trailer was released today for the game.
