Cena heel turn and beyond...

Kind of touched on this in the main forum, but wanted to reign in the fantasy elements over there, so I figured I'd play around with it a bit here.

Feedback always appreciated!

I'll start at the end of the NXT angle, which will see Cena beating the beejesus out of Barrett. Maybe along the way he starts getting a little more fed up with the constant NXT attacks and one upping him, so his retaliations tend to be a bit rougher... think Jack Baurer; still a face, but maybe now willing to do things he wouldn't before.

Maybe to add a bit of soap in his eye for some reason Cena's not allowed to touch the man behind NXT either... obviously this would be contingent on whoever that person is going to be, but maybe his revenge is robbed from him pissing him off that much more.... maybe he really does get soap in his eye, that bugs me when it happens....

I figure we're probably looking at post HITC PPV (2 months down the line), with 5 PPV's left.

Bragging rights:
After finishing things off with NXT Cena could use a bit of a reset. In order to transition, he could use kind of a one off #1 contenders feud.

I figure Orton and Sheamus are good for a couple, with Orton going over for the belt (boo, but I'm trying to be realistic-ish). So, I'm going to go with Edge vs Cena vs Y2J at bragging rights. Cena can do all the work, only to have the victory stolen from him by Y2J who can go on to face Orton on his way to a break. Maybe Cena loses it a bit and does a number on Edge who's already down. You can soften this a bit by having

Survivor Series:
Cena's still a face, and now has issues with Edge so the two of them can find themselves at opposite sides of a traditional survivor series tag match.

Orton vs. Y2J would be your title match with Orton going over.

Here Cena would win, but in kind of a dickish way to team... maybe little things like aggressively tagging himself in, stealing pins after the work was done. Finish would be maybe a lengthy one on one between Edge and Cean to draw their little mini feud to a close.

Royal Rumble
Cena can maybe grey the line a bit more by not putting his team over that helped him win the match. He can now declare himself the #1 contender to Orton's title.

Maybe you could do a Raw match against Edge for the shot, and to further finish their mini feud... either way, its Cena vs. Orton at the Rumble.

Hopefully, Orton's popularity is still inexplicably up there so that the boo's are a littel heavier against Cena who's been an ass lately. It'll still be a face vs face match

Cena would win here via some kind of chicanery, which would in turn set up their rematch.

I'd be tempted to pull the trigger here and have Cena go heelish in the same vein as Rock vs Austin at WM19 when Austin broke out the chair shots. Maybe more of a WFT moment... he's cheating win?

I'd maybe have a face win the Rumble so that it at least seems like we're heading for Cean vs Face at Mania, but its not.... not exactly a swerve, but play the perceptions of what we think the match will be... I'd give it to a SD face. HHH could make his comeback at this point, and takes out Sheamus in the rumble match.

PPV 11(don't know what it'll be)
Cena could talk about doing whatever it takes to win the belt, to be the best and Orton just got in the way. No hard feelings.

Cena vs. Orton is some kind of stip match. Orton goes over to a chorus of cheers. Maybe in the end, Cena shakes his hand and we get a kind of fake WM 6 ending of mutual respect, only to have Cena lay out Orton.

Undercard match would be Sheamus vs. HHH blowoff from before, with the WM spot on the line to add fuel to the fire... I'd go no contest so that you can do a Raw triple threat at mania.

Wrestlemania
Cena will forfeit his return match because of unsportsmanlike conduct after the Orton match... if you wanted to add a bit of myster you could have Orton appear to be hurt and in danger of getting his title voided... either way, with a bit of jockeying your going to get Orton vs Sheamus vs HHH as your Raw title main event.

Cena, is pissed... the fans had turned on him which is why he's stopped caring... if he can't have the title he's going to do what no one else has ever done, he's going to hurt the fans back by ending the Undertaker and his beloved streak.

The finish should be maybe something akin to the only other time they went up against each other when Cena was green... Taker is going to win, but it takes everything he has... Cena, while the loser can effectively "end" taker by doing a post match beat down and sending him on a vacation/retirement until next year this time when he can come back and feud with Cena again, which could then lead to Cean flipping back to face with the sing of respect to Taker after losing to him again at Mania for the title.

Post Mania

I figure HHH wins the belt by pinning Sheamus. Not sure where Orton goes from there, but a face vs face match wouldn't be bad... you could even have some heel run in (like Barrett) to do a Orton Barrett feud.

HHH is looking at facing Cena, who has just destroyed someone at the backlash PPV who had the nerve to speak out about what he did to taker.

Maybe go on to do 2 months worth of HHH vs Cena, with Cena taking the belt back. A little one off feud against some emerging face... maybe Bourne was his backlash feud, and he got hurt by Cena and has now returned to challenge him?

If thw WWE could swing it, i'd pony up the cash and do a Heel Cena vs Goldberg, who has mentioned doing a final match. A months worth of tv could set this Summer Slam 2011 match up. Cena would win, but Goldberg could spear Cena.. or do the DQ finish... something that keeps Bill happy as he leaves.

Anyway, from there we've got about 7 months worth of PPV before the next mania. I'd say another feud between Orton and Cena would be called for in that time as Orton or HHH are your top faces. Cena, to further add to his dickishness could maybe add some muscle or a mini stable.... good spot to introduce a Batista in Evolution like character who could ultimately take over the group one day. Anyway, the belt's staying firmly around Cena's waiste until Mania when he takes on Taker who's back, and pissed off.

Taker could win the belt, and retire for good with the title being vacated. Cena could do the real show of respect and shake Takers hand, you could even start to soften him a bit leading up to mania so that by early 2012 Cena's back to being a face.

What get's accomplished

* The Raw/WWE landscape gets shaken up with fresh takes on feud.

* Usually the real legends have to play both sides of the fence, so this would give Cena a great reset, and a "historical" period/change you could look back on.

* Would really "make" Cena as an all time great by giving him two iconic big build up matches (taker, and Goldberg) while adding to already established prior feuds (hhh and orton)

* Give the WWE new stars as a great villain is always needed to make a hero greater.

* Big send off for taker.

Thoughts?
