Book this - WWE/TNA trade
If you could trade five wrestlers from TNA to WWE for five other guys, who would it be? My criteria is this: who would benefit best from a change of
scenery - not necessarily who would be the most shocking or coolest.
From WWE to TNA:
Jack Swagger - he's really stalled out. I don't see it happening for years, because he's that good, but he could use an immediate
change of scenery.
Gail Kim - she's invisible now.
Ted DiBiase - he was so close to breaking out about a year ago, and now... not so much.
Zack Ryder - and tag him up with Robbie E!
David Otunga - Punk doesn't need him, and TNA will latch onto his pseudo-celebrity.
From TNA to WWE:
Kurt Angle - one last run. And he's been away so long, he can help put over a ton of new guys.
Mick Foley - I don't even know hos role in TNA, but one final send-off in the WWE would be nice.
Abyss - maybe I'm just sick of his antics in TNA, but he might seem fresher in WWE.
Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley - what else is left in TNA for them? They're not getting a sniff at the good singles titles where they are, and
they could put on some great matches against Bryan, Punk, Gabriel, Ziggler, etc...

From WWE to TNA:
Christian - They know how to use him in Orlando and maybe he can go back to being a main event caliber wrestler and putting people over.
I agree with Swagger, I think he'd be a very good addition to the upper midcard of TNA.
AJ Lee - Mini-Mickie needs to be with Mega-Mickie for the Red Bull Tag Team of the world.
TJ Wilson & DH Smith - They'd be perfect for TNA's tag division.
From TNA to WWE:
Kazarian - He's done everything in TNA and worked with everyone. He'd be a nice addition to the Smackdown midcard as a face.
Abyss - Just cause I want him out of TNA.
Samoa Joe - I can't really think of who else makes sense to move from TNA, but Joe has run his course it seems and he might benefit the most
from the change of scenery.
Angelina & Velvet - Just for a short run to show up LayCool and prove who the true Beautiful People are.

To TNA:
CM Punk - he could be over HUGE as a heel there and be a main player for a long time. I get that he is a main even player in WWE right now, but I
think with TNA's looser restrictions on content, his persona could get over even more
Daniel Bryan - I give WWE credit for allowing him to wrestle, but he could do so much more, and so much better in TNA given the chance. I could see
him in some awesome feuds with Doug Williams, AJ Styles and Shelley and Sabin over the TV title, or he and Lethal could trade the X title
Tyson Kidd - I have heard he is good in the ring, but I honestly have no idea, seems like he could develop more in TNA rather be in continuous holding
in WWE
Santino & Kozlov - Mostly just because I want them to work with OJ and Eric, plus the WWE doesn't much care about tag teams
Christian - I am counting Santino & Kozlov as one so I can get Christian back to a place where he was great
From TNA to WWE
Kazarian - I just don't think he is ever going to break through in TNA. In WWE, they might be able to give him that final polish that pushes
him over the top, play up the pretty boy image or something
The Dudleys - I know the WWE doesn't care about tag team wrestling. Let them go back, have one last run, retire and go into the WWE HOF
Rob Terry - Vince loves his big men. Terry sticks out like a sore thumb on the mostly wrestling heavy TNA roster, I don't think that would be
as big a problem in WWE
Abyss - I don't hate him as much as many others, but he could probably do more in WWE, maybe Kane puts him over as the next monster. Or John
Cena buries him. Either way
Brutus Magnus - I am assuming Desmond Wolfe is never coming back, even if he does, that team looked a little iffy anyway. I think the WWE could do
more with his character than TNA can. He is not horrible in the ring either, so that would be a plus
Amazing Red - cause in a perfect world, Evan Bourne would step up and fill the void left by Bryan leaving, and Amazing Red could come in and be the
next Bourne. A feud between the two of them would be something the WWE hasn't seen in.......ever? Or, if the WWE ever decided to care about
teams again, they could be a good one

I'm assuming this doesn't count Hogan and Bischoff, who I would send packing from TNA immediately.
From WWE
Christian - Vince simply isn't going to utilize his talent.
Beth Phoenix, Awesome Kong, Natalya, Gail Kim - So they can be in a place (again, assuming something happens with Hogan/Bischoff and the old Knockouts
Division can come back) where they can actually wrestle and be valued.
From TNA
Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, the Dudleys - For legacy and visibility purposes.
Taz - We need some color commentary back in the WWE. Pretty badly.
Abyss - Kane is going to retire soon, and Abyss fits the big monster mold Vince likes so much.

TNA to WWE:
I don't see any "legacy" reason to trade the Dudleys to the WWE. Who would give them their big new feud? The Usos? Santino/Kozlov?
There's no dream match for them, no money feud, and not even any tag teams (or division) worth putting over. I'd rather just trade them to
retirement.
I do agree with trading Angle to WWE though. Not just for "legacy," but because there's nothing left for him in TNA. He's already feuded
with and beat everyone there except for maybe Hardy/RVD (who he probably already beat up enough in WWE). But in WWE, he's got a bunch of new up
and comers who he's never fought and could do great things with. I'd love to see him go against Swagger/Morrison/ADR/Bryan, even Sheamus.
And don't forget the feud that could be great on every level-Punk vs Angle, Straight Edge vs Pain Pills, one guy who harnessed his addiction to
competition vs the guy who let it destroy his life. Great promos and surely great matches.
And I agree that Abyss could be a nice replacement for Kane.
There aren't many other guys I would trade from TNA to WWE because I can't see most of them getting any higher on the card than they are
now. Sure, there are some dream matches for Joe, but do we really think he'll get pushed? The one TNA guy I think could walk into WWE and main
event (politics aside) is AJ Styles. He's obviously the total package in the ring and Ric Flair has helped him improve his character by leaps
and bounds. And with WWE's new tack of crowning younger, smaller guys, he could be champ in a few years. Imagine AJ vs Punk or Bryan for the
title at Wrestlemania 29.
WWE to TNA
I wouldn't trade Morrison/Bryan/ADR because I like what they're doing in WWE, but obviously they'd be great in TNA. But I would
trade:
Evan Bourne - Wasted in WWE. Could be great in the X-division or tagging with Red
Tyson Kidd - Ditto
Regal - Could be reinvigorated. I'd love to see Wolfe/Williams/Magnus going on their own respective losing streaks before Regal comes in and
reforms the British Invasion. This would probably be one of the best stables ever in terms of both wrestling and promos.
Finlay - Might as well include him in the above
Any skilled diva
This last one may come as a surprise, but;
Rey Mysterio - Come on, the guy should be done in WWE. And he seems to be mailing it in half the time. But he could be reinvigorated in TNA.
Plus, they have a whole division of high-flyers who would probably kill to get in the ring with him. Maybe Rey's not interested in putting
people over anymore, but he might do it if he thought he was helping the next generation of cruisers carry on his lucha legacy. Hell, I could even see
him leading some kind of X-division revolution, even it was just something as simple as trying to make the X-title as important as the real title
(like Joe trying to elevate the Pure title in ROH)

To WWE:
The Pope: He never should have been released. He could step right into the Kofi/Swagger/Ziggler/Morrison/Rhodes midcard and be fantastic.
Matt Morgan: Size and personality to do great things.
Hernandez: WWE likes it's hispanic stars on Smackdown. Hernandez has the look and charisma to pull it off.
Dudley Boys: I think they would be good for one final run. While WWE doesn't exactly have an actual Tag Divison anymore they have been
consistent in having a tag title feud for the last two years. Dudleys could be good for a 4-6 month run into retirement.
Foley: I don't really want him wrestling, but as an on screen character I'd rather see in in WWE.
To TNA:
Christian: I want the great fued/partnership with Edge, but it's stunningly clear that WWE doesn't view Christian as what he should
be.
Gail Kim, Nattie, Beth: Duh.
Finlay: He is so underrated. I'd love to see him just put on some great matches with the TNA guys.
