Chris Masters is also released, according to wwe.com... I'm not seeing anything on there about Gail Kim, though.
Melina surprises me... I figured if nothing else they'd keep her around to keep Morrison happy.

None of them are too surprising.
Melina's been persona non grata for a long time now... Gail Kim's definitely not suited to playing in the big pond, she's done
nothing but suck in either WWE run... Masters has improved tremendously to the point where he's pretty good, but I don't think he'll
ever sell a single ticket and they've got no interest in using him in a valuable way ever again so no point keeping him around...
Kozlov's kinda surprising as he does quite a bit on NXT and he was a tag champ not long ago, but neither of those things mean much... I wonder
if Santino and Ryder team up full-time now.

Masters is surprising given he was supposed to be buddies with Orton.
Koslov is squashed by Mark Henry on Smackdown - Now we know why.

The only one I'm surprised about was Masters, because he's on Superstars every week and, from what I've seen, beats Jack Swagger at
every Raw house show.
Melina and Gail Kim had to have seen the writing on the wall Monday, when they lasted less than 20 seconds in the battle royal. Same with Kozlov when
Ryder teamed with Santino. Oh well, Kozlov sucked.
I thought DH Smith was already fired. I wonder if JTG is next, or if they are stopping at 5.

And I agree with those who are saying that Morrison will be affected by this. Seeing how he's reportedly totally whipped by Melina, I

I think Harry could be a big star in Japan. He can work a stiffer style, and his pedigree will mean more as well. He wasn't ready when the wwe
signed him - he's all of 25 years old now(just turned it Aug 2nd), he could stay in Japan until he's 30 and come back a big time prospect.
I remember Eddie Guerrero.
