Jani Lane dead at 47
Well, that's unfortunate.
Warrant was one of those bands who's music I could actually enjoy, despite their ridiculous image.
No details yet, but I doubt anyone will be surprised if it was cocaine or the like...
Apparently Amanda Bynes and Charlie Sheen are related, because she's full of the same kind of
crazy.

Stripper poles everywhere at half mast.
Didn't he get all bald and fat though? RIP but the guy had the good life for a while banging hot chicks two at a time.

It's a good thing that heaven isn't too far away.
And apparently, LA motels are where the Down Boys go.

The real important question is how the pennies feel about his passing.
Previous reports would indicate they are unmoved.

If there's a Rock' N' Roll Heaven you know they've got one hell of a crap rock band.

I downloaded the soundtrack to "Song of the South," and it's 45 minutes of whipcracks, women pleading "please, no," and people screaming.

They had their share of cheese, but this was a great song from Warrant.

That's the only song I really liked from them, Salmon. I really enjoyed that video back in the day.
I remember Jani had opened a club in Orlando years ago where hair metal could thrive (i.e. stagnate). Grunge hit that guy like a ton of bricks.

I used to have "Uncle Tom's Cabin" on one of my early versions of an iPod.
As everyone else has said, sadly not a huge surprise. If anyone here watches "That Metal Show" on VH1 Classic, he taped an episode for the upcoming
season which they're apparently going to bump up in the schedule. The new season premieres this Saturday.
