Impact Wrestling (Airing 8/18 on Spike TV):

* Sting makes his way to the ring. On the way he beats a chair with a bat and then hurls himself down the ramp. He tosses himself in the ring and takes some bumps. When he's done he says he was recreating what Hulk Hogan did to him last week.

He says that it's time for the Immortal one to face him back in the ring. He wants to have a match with him and wants him to come out. Instead, Ric Flair's music and he struts to the ring.

He says that Sting is an actual icon. That the boys in the back call him, the fans do, everybody. Now, he hasn't been around much because he makes too much money and Dixie Carter doesn't want to pay him. But he's back now and wants to get back into the swing of things. He wants to wrestle Sting again.

To convince Sting, he says if Sting beat him, he'll hand Hulk Hogan to him on a silver platter. But if Flair wins, Sting goes back to California and retires forever. Sting thinks about it and accepts.

* Bound for Glory Series Match, Scott Steiner vs. Devon. Winner via foot on the ropes, Scott Steiner

* Backstage, Ric Flair walks into Hulk Hogan's office. Hogan is mad at Flair for what he's done with Sting. Flair tells him not worry, he's won 1501 matches against Sting, maybe 1502. He's got Sting's number.

* X Division Gauntlet for a title shot, Robbie E, Tony Nees, Jesse Sorrenson, Kid Kash, Alex Shelley, Mark Haskins and Austin Aries. Final two are Aries and Sorrenson. Winner via brainbuster, Austin Aries. Funny note is that when Alex Shelley was eliminated it was clear he wasn't supposed to be. He tried to grab the ropes on the way down to save himself but missed or lost his grip.

* ODB w/Jackie vs. Mickie James. Winner via Last Kiss Goodnight, Mickie James

* Bound for Glory Series Match, Rob Van Dam vs. AJ Styles. Winner via DQ after Jerry Lynn slapped the referee, AJ Styles

* Crimson comes to the ring wearing a knee brace and is hobbling. He says a guy he respected has disrespected him. Crimson wants him out here to talk to him. Kurt Angle comes out and joins Crimson. Crimson says all the guys in the back respect you, Mr. Angle. We consider it an honor to wrestle you and work in the same company as you.

But you said you want to take out all the young guys one by one and you start with me? Well you didn't finish the job. Angle says it's nice that he tells him he respects him and that he calls him Mr. Angle, but Crimson is just a green kid and one day might be at his level. Crimson says he'll take Mr. Angle on and show him what respect is.

* Main event for the Impact Wrestling Tag Titles, Mexican America vs. Beer Money. Jeff and Karen Jarrett were on commentary. Karen came down and distracted the referee while Jeff threw his AAA title to Hernandez who used it for the win while the referee was distracted. Winners and new tag champions, Mexican America

Xplosion:

* Magnus vs. Alex Shelley. Winner via Mchinoku Driver, Magnus. Magnus now gets a title shot against the champion of his choosing.

* Abyss vs. Kazarian. Winner via victory roll, Kazarian
