I'll just copy and paste what I said in the spoilers thread, now that I've actually seen it -
Why is Kid Kash even called "Kid Kash" still? The dude has nothing in common anymore with Kid Rock or even his former Kid Kash gimmick. I have no
clue why he hasn't just switched to his real name or at least changed his name.
"Sergeant Kash" would be more suitable given his current look and gimmick. It's not even like "Kid Kash" was that huge of a gimmick that
he'd want to hold onto. I just don't get it.

The alliteration of Kid Kash sounds better than David Cash. David Cash sounds like a jobber name. And he can't go back to being called David
Jericho, because there's already a Jericho out there, and he's the better of the two. I think it's another situation where
he's just known to the public as Kid Kash, and changing his name would be removing his history and legacy. Not to mention, a lot of his moves
are based around currency (Money Maker, Bank Roll, Bankruptcy), and at this point in his career, he probably doesn't want to completely
repackage himself.

I still don't get it. I mean, he could come out in a completely new persona and 95% of the crowd wouldn't think twice about it.
Hell, I got my picture taken with the guy at a Tarboro High School indie show back around 2001 or so and even I don't recognize him anymore.

True, I just don't see a big problem with it. The first thing I think of when I hear "Kid Kash" isn't Kid Rock, it's Kid Kash. So
yea, he doesn't look like Kid Rock anymore, and he doesn't live the gimmick anymore, but what is his gimmick now, anyway? He's just
a regular heel wrestler. I guess I just don't think there's a need for a name change. He's been Kid Kash forever, and I don't
think changing it will really elevate him up the card or make him stand out more or anything. It'll just be a name change for the sake of a name
change.

True. I guess we can agree that he may as well just remain Kid Kash because nobody will really give a shit what he's called regardless.

This ODB/Jackie angle makes no sense. Why would Bischoff care if they cheated or beat up random people?
Also, is there any logical reason that Joe hasn't even gotten a bfgs match in a month or so? And you have to love how even the announce team
didn't see Joe until the replay was over.
So Sorensen is the bland, x-division version of Riley? Why do this whole football gimmick if he doesn't work it into his character at all?

They claim he's been "mathematically eliminated". It's been like that since he went into the negatives. So, there you go.

Missed it when they said it, but that's just shoddy storytelling. He got to minus 10 about 4 weeks ago. If he'd had 1 match each week
(when some of these guys seem to have 2 or 3 a week) he could have got 10 points each and been in the top 4. And that's not even accounting for
people losing 10 points for disqualification.
Honestly, the bfgs turned out pretty disappointing. It starts off with Morgan saying he didnt want the tv title because he had to focus on bfgs
matches, Beer Money basically said the same thing, but Crimson and AJ now both have nonbfgs matches for nothing. How is AJ accepting a nonbfgs match
on the last show where he can earn points to make the top 4.
But I'm mostly disappointed because it's been so straightforward. Pretty much the same guys have been on the top the whole time and
it's just been a series of matches with no story. Roode is making a run, but it never really gets talked about as an incredible comeback despite
injury so its not helping to get him over. And it looked like they could use this to build some new feuds, or maybe show cracks between
Fortune/Immortal if they stole pinfall from each other, but none of that is happening. Except for the Joe angle, it looks like everyone but the winner
will leave this series in the same position they were in when it started.
Hogan/Flair/Sting was awful, but not as bad as EY stuff which is always awful.
Are they just doing big ring announcements for all main events now? Dumb.
And Kid Kash is probably still Kid Kash so they can say "Former x-division champ Kid Kash" without everyone getting confused. It'd be like
when Low-ki came back with a new name for no apparent storyline reason. Also, Kid Kash never made me think of Kid Rock. Was that ever really the
intention with his name?

Great summary of the BFG series and its failings. It's a great idea, but it's been disappointing in execution. I hope after BFG they put
another one in place, and do it a little bit better. The one positive is that it has put a focus on wrestling.
It's the storytelling that's poor. As flammablemanimal points out, AJ won't take a match at no surrender because he thinks
he'll be in the final 4, but he takes a match the week before? Seems silly.
The stuff with Joe is just awful. He waits for the match to end before attacking Pope? Then he backs off like a total wimp. He interferes in the
match against Crimson, then waits on the attack for Angle's approval, and can't even really muster an attack on Crimson? Total waste. As
much as I hate to say it, I'd love to see Joe go to WWE, because no matter how badly WWE might waste him, they couldn't misuse him any
more than TNA has consistently misused/wasted him for years now.
Crimson looks good. He's finally starting to click, IMO, after a push that was more than he deserved. I like his intensity during the promos,
although he comes off as a bit too "respectful" towards Angle. He's not there yet, and he's still getting pushed beyond where he should
be, but I can see Crimson becoming better, and I think he has a bright future.
I'm also a fan of Gunner, and I feel that he's been wasted for the past few weeks. Early in the BFG series, and when he was dealing with
Anderson right after Anderson won, Gunner was imprssive. Another guy who could have a bright future, if they use him right.
Speaking of Anderson... Awful. First off, I hate the "walking" shots where they just show combat boots but don't show who it is. The
Cameraman can't pan up? When he does come out and Tennay says "so that's who we've seen in the combat boots!" it seems even more
idiotic. The only thing more idiotic is when someone drives a vehicle out to the ring (such as the hummer, or Tara on the motorcycle).
Anderson's walking around backstage, but when he's finally ready to do something, he gets in a hummer, drives it about 30 yards, then has
to spend about 5 minutes trying to get out of the vehicle, and still has to walk down to the ring? Awful. And how many times in the last year has
Anderson made a face/heel turn? There's no impact to it now. Honestly, the character is a total waste, and they need to keep him off tv much
longer than 2 weeks to get people to care about him again. My only hope is that TNA has learned that he should not be holding the title anymore.
Hey, do you want to know how I know when someone is NOT crazy? Because they walk around saying things like "look at how crazy I am" and "wow, I
must be crazy because I rolled around on the floor before entering the ring" and "hey, in case you didn't know it, I'm crazy Sting
now!" Even if it was an obvious Joker rip-off, Sting was doing a decent job with it for a while. But for the last 3-4 weeks, in every promo he cuts
he makes at least one reference to him being crazy, clearly indicating that he's not crazy and is just trying too hard. Not to mention that he
loses "crazy mode" and goes into "old Stink mode" whenever he actually talks about a match.
The only thing that may be stupider than that is ODB/Jackie not having contracts, but getting to compete every single week on TV in the attempt to
earn contracts. How does that even make sense? And after all that they did to Velvet, in a normal-working world, why would she then team with two
people who don't have contracts who have broken both laws and rules to assault her?
I'm as big a TNA fan as anyone, but I have to admit the product is in the shitter right now. Totally awful. And it's not the lack of
talent. They have a great roster. I like the increased focus on the X division (although I hate the weight limit, which takes away their great
catch-phrase of "it's not about weight limits, it's about no limits"), and I liked the BFG series before they totally wasted it.
Time to fire Russo, fire the creative team, and hire at least ONE person who is responsible for logic-checking.

Big Stevie Cool pretty much laid out every problem I've been having with TNA lately. I don't know why they have PPVs, when everything
important happens on impact. I just found out there is a title match this week. They had Angle and Sting do interviews on impact, they could have
announced it then, but it just appears on the website 2 days before. I guess Angle isn't going to fight at No Surrender.
Have they come out and said what the match(es) for the Bound for Glory series are yet? I clicked on the No Surrender page, which is how I found out
about the title match, and there is nothing announced. The event is in 12 days.
Oh and AJ is fighting Kurt Angle at the house shows this weekend, so he has no chance to make it to the finals of the series, which makes him look
like the world's biggest fucking idiot for taking the match with Daniels next week.
And fuck Anderson.
Edit: I should give credit to Immortal. They had the announced on tv plan of getting Beer Money out of the ring, and letting Bubba beat AJ. Then they
got rid of Beer Money, and Bubba beat AJ. Tenay and Tazz should have played that up some more.
