BREAKING: Jeff Hardy pleads guilty to 3 felonies, going to jail for a short time.
http://rajah.com/base/node/24195
TNA star Jeff Hardy was back in a Moore County, North Carolina courtroom on Thursday and pleaded guilty to three felony drug charges stemming from his
September 2009 arrest. He will serve 10 days in jail, have to pay fine of $100,000 and will be on probation for 30 months. In the event that Hardy
violates his probation, he can be sent back to jail.
Hardy pleaded guilty to three drug felonies: two counts of Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance and one count of Conspiracy to Traffic in a
Compound Containing Opium.
Here are a few new details from today's court proceedings:
* In exchange for pleading guilty, the other counts against Jeff Hardy were dropped.
* Hardy has agreed to remain in a drug abuse treatment program.
* Jeff was granted a request to travel outside of North Carolina so he can work for TNA.
Oh Gen-Y, where to begin. You are all beautiful, special little snowflakes, and no one can tell you differently. You are spoiled little brats. Things
have been so good for you for so long, you are not going to have any idea how to deal when things turn to shit, and mommy and daddy can't bail
you out. And it's coming. I know, I know, I am a mean person, a "hater", for not presenting life as anything but rosy. Don't worry, you
are all special, beautiful little snowflakes, and I want to kiss you all on your precious little heads. All I ask is that you don't cry to me
when your H3 is repo'd when things go to hell.

Forgot to add my comment:
for me the biggest thing is the 30 months probation. I say no way he stays clean for 2 1/2 years.

Agreed. I think he'll be back in the clink sooner rather than later, but not before taking the North Carolina court system through another
incredibly costly and wasteful legal ride.

What kind of jail do drug criminals get put into? Because Jeffrey is a pretty, pretty boy. I could imagine him and Lucky being tag teamed, if you know
what I mean... Maybe Jeff violates probation after his 10 days just to get another shot at the Jailhouse Tag Team Titles.

He'll be in protective custody his whole stint, and likely won't even do ten days due to over crowding.
Pleading guilty to three felonies will be a bigger deal the next time he screws up.
I remember Eddie Guerrero.

re: 30 months

a) -450
b) +350
c) -200
I'm no professional oddsmaker, but I see A as by far the most likely option, C as a not-unfathomable outcome, and while on a personal level I
hope for B, I have the hardest time seeing it happen.

Does TNA have enough time to get the belt back on him before he goes off to jail? [/russojarrettbischoffhogan]

It's weird that a guy can plead guilty to three felonies and more or less only spend a week in jail. Some guys get busted with a personal stash
of weed and if some jackass in charge wants to make an example out of them they will wind up getting thirty days. I wonder what Jeff did to celebrate
getting such a light sentence? Did they include a clause that he could not be within 20 yards of RVD?

Isn't it most likely that c was caused by a?

No, no, he's still too halfway relevant. I predict he goes the Celebrity Rehab route around 2018.

You know, that post made me realize that I would too. Fuckin' A, put Jeff and Matt on there and it would be appointment viewing for me.

What's the future of TNA wrestling doing in prison, Taz?
