The only thing that makes anything involving Ink Inc. interesting is watching what happens to their mohawks when they're involved in any sort of
physical confrontation. Will they stay straight-up? Will they bend? Will they be flattened? The suspense is always excellent.

I like this.
I love Velvet Sky but after her brief verbal sparring with Karen Angle, I have pretty much lost faith in Velvet's ability to cut a great promo
or go toe-to-toe with anyone on the mic as anything other than an ear-excrutiating heel.
Pretty much, she's awesome to look at but she needs to stay a heel if she is going to talk.
EDIT - I thought they did as meaningful of a thing as they could've for Jeff and I'm marking out for it and trying to kill those feelings
where I've felt like this 8 times before when he's made his other post-drug-addiction comebacks.
And I guess that tells Bobby Roode where he stands - "Great match, dude, but we have to get to the important things, like signing a main event that
was old 12 years ago."

I thought this was rather flat for a go home show. I watched the last month of shows today, and this was the most fast forwardable one. I said a month
ago that Roode wasn't being built to seem like he could win the title, and tna did a nice job in changing that. I wish he had a better match to
go out on. Maybe a Beer Money tag match where he and Storm have a little rift and Roode wins.
I don't think the card for BFG looks that great. Instead of going full metal mayhem for RVD/Lynn, they should have gone Monsters Ball for
Morgan/Crimson/Joe.
I find it rather odd Storm doesn't have a match on the card. I thought he would fight Crimson after the first week Crimson ran out on his match.
I guess neither one gets a match. If this were WWE, they would have the ppv bonus match.
In closing, Anderson is fat.
Edit: I forgot to say this, better acting job: Brian Wilson in the Taco Bell commercials shown non-stop in the baseball playoffs, or Hulk Hogan at the
end of his retirement speech last week?

Yeah, I couldn't agree more. I started to notice it a few months ago when she was cutting those backstage promos about how she was never
respected when she was younger.. or whatever it was. She is fucking terrible on the mic. The whole, "maybe you're right... but maybe
you're not!" thing was really lame.

There's also this-- check out this
fucking great interview Hogan gave a couple days ago:
quote: Hulk Hogan taped an appearance with The Busted Open show yesterday that will air today at 3pm on Sirius Radio. Here are some interesting
quotes:
Robert Roode: Nah, hes not ready. Hes not the next guy. Ya know, they might think he is. Dixie Carter might think he is. The whole world might
think he is. Hes not the next guy. If I had to bet money on anybody and really be serious about betting money on anybody, Id say Jeff Hardy is the
next guy if he keeps his act together. Um, thats what you gotta to have, man. This is much more than being a wrestler, this is crossing barriers,
medias, ya know media barriers, and, and entertainment barriers of all kind. Getting your character down verbally has 90% to do with getting over. I
just have a very strong feeling Kurt Angles going to clean his clock performance wise, and carry the match, and basically remains the champion. Hes
training for the Olympics. Hes had some up and down moments, and I think this is not gonna be a down moment for Kurt Angle, so Im betting that farm
on him."
I wanted to think he was speaking in character, but then in the same interview he puts over James Storm... so yeah, he basically just buries Roode
there.
Is everyone mad here?

Well that interview is fucking crazy. I thought it was in character at first, but like you said, he went on to put over Storm. Saying Roode should be
booked from Venice Beach or OMAHA, NEBRASKA instead of Canada is head scratching. It's not like there haven't been champions from Canada.
He was on team Canada. We know he's Canadian.
I also enjoy the way he completely buried AJ Styles. Maybe part of the reason people stopped rallying around AJ is because you turned him heel and
made him Flair's mini me for no reason? Making AJ Styles not AJ Styles doesn't really help anyone. What a weird interview.

Regarding the Hogan interview, AJ Styles posted this on Twitter:
"Frustration setting in when your own guys bury the company that u have worked so hard for........ Brother!"
I agree with everyone, it seems like this would just be Hogan being in character, but then he goes on to praise guys that his character
shouldn't (Jeff, Storm, etc). Odd stuff.
And I caught bits and pieces of the show and it actually didn't seem too bad. I think my problem with BFG is that outside of Angle/Roode, this
is NOT the card I would think of for TNA's version of WrestleMania. AJ/Daniels? Good, but we've seen it. RVD/Lynn? Good, but we've
seen it. Hogan/Sting? Not so good and we've definitely seen it. Anderson/Ray? Meh. Joe/Morgan/Crimson? Meh. Ink Inc/Mexican American? No thank
you.
It's not a bad card per se, but for what is supposed to be TNA's biggest PPV of the year, it just seems flat. It's like the Bound
For Glory version of WrestleMania 13, where outside of one match, the rest of the card is looking pretty lackluster.

Taz, what are we doing back in 2001, when some of our matches might have still been interesting?
They're also going way too gimmick heavy on this show. An I Quit match, Full Metal Mayhem, and an Anywhere Falls? Plus you know Sting/Hogan will
have all kinds of shenanigans.
And I just realized that Hogan/Sting will probably main event because Sting sinning is the biggest possible moment on the show. Probably means Roode
loses.
Who is the Inc Ink chick? And how did TNA kill the tag division so quickly?

It's sad to read stuff like this. Especially because I kind of figured this is where we were headed when Bischoff and Hogan took over, but I
really didn't want to believe it at first. It's to the point now where I'd really prefer to see WWE just hurry up and buy TNA,
because I don't think Vince ever really considered TNA a rival even close to the same way he considered WCW to be a rival, so once the
inevitable buyout does happen, they'll just look at it as though they've got a bunch of new guys they can build up rather than a group of
guys in desperate need of being buried for months straight, which seems to be where Hogan is right now anyways. And, I mean, it doesn't really
hurt that a lot of the larger WWE names are as big on some of the TNA guys as they are, apparently moreso than TNA's higher-up's are
(Triple H spoke fairly highly of Roode back in the middle part of the 2000's, Austin and Punk are both Joe fans, and every seems to regard AJ
pretty highly).
I really just hope Bischoff and Hogan get lured back to WWE for easy payday legends contracts or something, because, outside of that, I really
don't like where TNA is headed.

Hogan replied to all the talk of his interview with this on twitter:
just waiting for somebody to figure it out and do Today Show,Fox and Friends ,Leno, radio,tv ,ect, instead of the same 5star Matches over and over
again. Brother. HH
Goodnight HULKAMANIACS and jabronie marks without a life that don't know it a work when you work a work and work yourself into a shoot, marks.
His point is stupid, because he's Hulk fucking Hogan. There is no reason to want to talk to anyone in TNA besides him. Also, it's
TNA's fault to a certain extent that their guys aren't more visible. Should the Miz be more famous than AJ Styles? Not based off ring
work. But WWE gets their guys out there. Sheamus does interviews everywhere now. I never see anyone besides Hogan interviewed anywhere. Maybe Angle,
but that's just for his movie press. It's their fault that casual fans who don't really watch TNA but check out the ppv card that
they don't know who Robert Roode is. I know the WWE hype machine is hard to match, but they could do something to make guys visible

So which part was the work... burying Roode and AJ, or praising Storm and Jeff? Half of it would work if he were in character, but the other half
doesn't. Man, he's just a piece of shit.

Woke up today to see that the f'n Bengals are beating the Colts. What kind of bizarro-world did I wake up in?
Haven't seen the most recent episode of Impact, but I think I'm going to the Imax theater in San Antonio to watch the ppv. I mentioned it
somewheres on here that I was thinking about it, and with the Bengals winning, I feel like I need to carry this good feeling with me. Tickets are
only $15, and includes a free t-shirt, so what the hell?!
