Big Show and Smackdown! 1/3/02
Why, oh why must the Big Show be jobbed again. I may be a BS fanboy here, but dammit I am tired of this. Everytime he gets a shot he loses, and I just
writhe.
He hasn't even had a decent shot at the 'Big One' since Jan of 2000, the Tag Team since Sept 1999 or the Hardcore titile since mid 2001.
And with a performance like Underrespected put on tonight you would think they would have handed Big Show the titile on a platter.
That is all.

Well the new finisher for the Undertaker is a nice one and definitely a great heel finisher. I thought it was a decent match. And probably they are
saving a full one for Royal Rumble. Unless they make it thats its Triple-hhh or suprise move with kevin Nash going after UT.

Big Show
I thought his match with Taker was great. Taker trtied to ride away and the Show pulled him back to the ring. I wish they did a powerbomb through the
commentators' table. Show can put on some good matches when put with other big names. He should be a top carder too.

I agree. I will reitirate my point by saying that this was a good match. Perhaps there will be a rematch at RR, but with HHH coming back (and possibly
Nash) on Monday I expect that the entire WWF will change this coming week and Show will not get his shot.
Ah well. What else am I gonna do on Mondays.

I mentioned in a Heat recap how I feel Paul Wight has been woefully mis-used by the WWF. The whole "bastard" angle with The Big Bossman just killed
him. Now, there may be hope. Show is slowly being devleoped again into someone that can rise above the upper-mid card.
Taker's dragon sleeper is a good choice for a finisher. It can be applied to all those big men he had trouble getting into the Last Ride. Calling it
TCB is not a good choice. Neither is having Cole say he doesn't think the feud is over when nothing in the ring suggested otherwise. Taker beat Show,
and left. If the feud is going to continue, you have to have Taker dish out more punishment after the bell or have Show go ballistic and chase after
Taker post-match.
Otherwise, decent big-man hardcore violence.

Just remember that not all the names get over. Remember the "Drop Shot" and "Piebuster"? To be honest, I fully expect JR to ignore the name and
call it a Dragon Sleeper.

Does anybody really care what Cole says? I'm currently pissed off at him for overusing the phrase "not like this", even in situations where it's
entirely unwarranted.

You Asked Why Must big Shw be Jobbe TwistofFat
TextTextTextThe Big Slow is Jobbed each week because he IS A JOBBER!! No logic behind
that answer. The lard ass known as the Big Show spent the summer in fatboy camp (Ohio Valley Wrestling) because he lost the skills he once had and
replaced them with blubber and bonerisms.

Yeah, but at least give MC credit for always improving his game, even if it is still sub-par. I mean, can you name any other announcer who has not
only not deteriorated but actually improved steadily over the past three years? JR's certainly seen better days behind the announce table (remember
when he used to, you know, do play-by-play?), Joey Styles was in a terrible slump last I saw him, Lawler chose to go in the most annoying direction
possible...Heyman's the only one I can think of who hasn't deteriorated, but he hasn't *improved* (mostly due to him being so damn good as it
is...).

Big Show
Big Show is good at what he can do, It's when he get's outside of that that he gets himself in to trouble.

Michael Cole, to me, sounds exactly the same now as he did when he started. Purely from a technical standpoint, he is sound on the mike, rarely
slipping up. The things he chooses to say, on the other hand...
Ay, there's the rub. How much of what he says is in his own words, and how much is fed to him? I remember when Tony Schiavone was a respected
wrestling voice. Like any other commentator, in the end, you're only as good as your material. If your boss tells you to shill that lame finisher or
that crappy Creed CD, you do it with a smile or you quit.

Since when does the WWF use proper names for moves anyway?
I dread TCB, but i doubt they will use Dragon Sleeper
As far as Cole goes i am sure you have seen my Rants against him, he is a waste of airtime on all programming.. He actually makes me miss Vinnie
saying "oh what a maneuver" all the time..
I swear when will they pick up the damn phone and Get joey Styles??? HE would call it a dragon Sleeper or some Far-Eastern techno-term that all the
smarts love
Seriously.. i can't think of a person who is WORSE on the mic that Cole.. even the guy who SOUNDS like Styles on Wildside is better than Cole..
The Best on air segment of Cole is when he got the bejeezus smacked out of him,, i **know** i was supposed to hate SCSA because of that when it
happened but i only loved it more and more and more...
Uh oh.. am i ranting again?
Take Cole and that faggy look, that Fake lame laugh and send him to .. hell i dunno excess or some other show no one watches Leave him on heat
even.. but get him off smackdown..
And if you are in the NYC area and wanna hear him whine in person? make sure you go on an empty stomach...
