PS4 vs PS4 Pro

Over the weekend, I ordered a PS4 Slim with Uncharted 4 through Target for $250 after tax, which is a great deal since that bundle normally retails at $299 before tax (and sales tax in Seattle is 9.7%). It's expected to arrive later this week. On a whim, I decided to go on Craigslist where I found a used PS4 Pro for $275. I know I can pick up Uncharted 4 on eBay for $20.

So my question to you all is - get the used PS4 Pro on Craigslist and return the new PS4 slim when I grab it? Or not trust a used item and at least have something new and returnable from a store?

Edited to add: I don't currently have a 4k TV. But I am overdue to buy a new TV in the next 12 months. I don't really need 4k for my next TV, so it's not a deal breaker.

I have a 4K TV and had a regular PS4 at the start of owning it before I traded it in for the Pro. During that transition, I've only had two games that I played on both: Injustice and Resident Evil. Resident Evil was night and day as far as the 4K aspect but, performance wise, I didn't see a noticeable boost (if there was, I may have talked it into existing). Injustice was probably the better sample, since it doesn't do HDR (both PS4's do), and there is no 4K support. On that, they seemed virtually the same.

If you're going to upgrade your TV any time soon, 4K is cheap enough to get on a new TV without breaking the bank and one with HDR (get one with HDR if you get a 4K) is still relatively inexpensive. So a Pro would be a good investment just for future sake. But as with all used things, if they seem sketchy, maybe hang onto the Slim? Worst case, the Pro should be under some warranty through Sony.

Resident Evil is definitely a game I want to play.

I've had mostly good luck with Craigslist, and with buying second hand systems and music equipment from CL and (for all you old folk) the Pennysaver in the past. I just second guess a price that seems to good to be true. But the dude will let me test it. As of today, he still has it.

Yeah, I'm definitely in the market for a new TV, but likely won't purchase one until a) I move out of my apartment to a new place or b) my TV finally bites the dust. It's a Samsung, it's HD, it works well. It's 10 years old, and has some issues with ghosting, but the colors are still great and the ghosting goes away. It still doesn't have permanent burn-yet, but I suspect it will soon.

And then of course, I went on CL yesterday and found a Wii U for $200. Cheap way to play Breath of the Wild.....
