Kane Runs For Mayor
I know this is a topic that has been discussed in other threads, but there is a good article from Bleacher Report about Glen Jacobs' political
ambitions.
One thing I learned from the article is that he owns his own insurance company, which given his character's pyromania, is hilariously ironic.

Jacobs has been very public over the years doing charities for East Tennessee. As I see it he has two things going against him in this race:.
He isn't from here. Call it what you want, but the homegrown candidate with blood ties to the area always has the advantage. (Even if his wife
does)
He is using this as a stepping stone for his political career. Even though the Pauls originally recommended he run for Senate, nobody here thinks he
will serve more than one term if elected.
Bonus reason- Mainstream attention. Kane isn't running for Mayor of Knox County. Glen Jacobs is. Still, that will be all anyone talks about.
Will he chokeslam his opponent to hell? Will Katie Vick derail his campaign? Listen to his podcasts. The man has a good mind for politics. I just
dont know if this is the right race and it's too soon from his wrestling career.

Be great if his opponents embraced the kayfabe. Didn't you rape and murder an innocent cheerleader? Didn't you burn your parents alive
when you set the house on fire? Are you sure you're mentally and emotionally fit to lead after the injuries you sustained in that limo wreck? If
you're elected mayor then what can the citizens and taxpayers expect from you every May 19th?
Embrace the madness, Knox County!
You know, everyone says it's not supposed to make sense, like that's the whole point, dude. And I'm just saying, you know,
that's like an excuse for lazy storytelling. Just don't sell me shite and tell me it's gold, all right? I might be stoned, but
I'm not high. You know what I mean?
