Announcers and Interviewers

We need some NEW BLOOD at the announce table, and behind the interviewers mic.

JR and Lawler are OK for RAW (I hope the Ric Flair Faction gets SD!)

Heyman would be good on SD!, as the intrigue (possible reformation of the inVasion) would make some interesting storylines - maybe he would work w/Tazz letting Tazz do PBP and getting "involved" on occaision like Randy Savage did? Or, can you get Stevie Ray back to do commentary?

Where is Kevin Kelly? We would be good as an interviewer, and his latent heelish tendencies could make for some interesting angles.

Get Coach off of EXCESS! God, that man sucks almost as bad as Cole does! Hire MADDEN, and give him this show, for crissakes!

How about Paul Bearer? We haven't seen him for awhile, he just might do pretty good as an announcer.

I agree totally that it wouldn't hurt to get some new blood in it. I don't know of anyone worth bringing in though....

(how is that for not really saying anything? I think I just like to see my name in print)

Now that Lawler has been back for a while, I think everybody can plainly see that Heyman, playing his straight heel announcer, was only about 200 times better. The chemistry between him and JR (partly because they really do hate each other) was priceless. His ability to get an angle, wrestler or move over was incredible While Lawler might have the edge on straight comedy, Heyman had his moments.

Bottom line, I can only hope that they bring back Paul Heyman is some capacity as an announcer, and soon.

I don't think Heyman wants to come back, he's stated he'd rather be behind the scenes. There was something about him sitting there, after RUNNING his own company, that just made me feel for the guy. I hope he sabotages the booking from behind the scenes and forces the WWF into bankruptcy (like the Vince Russo theory). I'd gladdy pay the price of no more WWF just knowing that Heyman was responcible

I'm glad that someone else appreciates the underappreciated commentary skills of Stevie Ray. Let Lawler talk about puppies, I wanna hear about the yaks!!

Not true. Coach can be funny, and doesn't look like a boy band wannabe like Cole does.

I think he's a road agent now.

I'm not sure if he'd wanna do it, but I always thought Jim Cornette was a great color guy. He may hate 21st century wrestling, but he knows how to get people over and throws in just the right mix of humor. He's probably tied up with his WWF developmental thing, though.

As for a new PBP guy, I think Joey Styles would be the best choice, and Scott Hudson might actually be good if given a semi-decent product to call.

If Heyman had been WCW Boss and not ECW everyone would hate him and say he sucks as a Commentator, Which is True. Keep im backstage and only let him work the mic now and Again for those Classic Interviews
