A bit of fantasy booking for WM 4 to WM 5
Hi, Ive had this in my head for a bit so I decided to put this piece of fantasy booking on here. I start it out at WM4, fast foward to the final 4 in
the tournament. Hogan vs Dibiase is one match, while Savage vs Steamboat is another.
We start off with Hogan vs Dibiase, your regular Hogan match added on by the fact he had to wrestle a couple of matches earlier. Dibiase tries to
save the match a bit but mostly its on a so-so level. In the end Andre comes down to help Dibiase, the ref is down because of a prior bump. Andre
hands Dibiase a chair while Hogan lay prone to an attack. Dibiase thinks it over and throws down the chair wanting to win it fair. Andre gives him a
"What the hell!" look as Dibiase approaches Hogan. Dibiase grabs Hogan hair(or what little of it) to pull him up but in a quick move(at least quick
for Hogan), Hogan rolls him up for the ref to wake up and count the 1-2-3. Hogan then rolls out of the ring celebrating his victory, while Andre comes
into the ring to confront Dibiase. Dibiase and Andre argue for a while and while Dibiases back is turned to get out of the ring Andre attacks him
visiously. This sets up a face Dibiase vs a still heel Andre for a later show but thats a diffrent story.
On to Savage vs Steamboat, this is yet another classic like there WM3 encounter. Its shorter because of time constrants but still a great match none
the less. Savage ends up going cleanly over Steamboat with the elbow off the top rope. Steamboat looks pissed after the match and walks the walkway
sulking.
Now the main event Savage vs Hogan for the WWF Title! Hogan is even more tired than before so this match is not all that great but Savage saves it
with some hot bumps and moves. Halfway through the match Steamboat comes out to watch, he circles the ring eyeing Savage. Savage does the same but
tries to keep his focus on Hogan. Then Savage "accidently" throws Hogan into the ref knocking the ref out, Hogan kneels down to check on him.
Steamboat gets up on the ring apron eyeing Savage, the arena is about to explode realizing the two may get into it again. Steamboat gets in the ring
and the crowd gets even louder, ready for a fight. Savage is eyeing Steamboat, Steamboat eyeing Savage. Hogan comes away from the ref to see the two
almost nose to nose, he walks closer to the two and watches them with a puzzled look on his face, not knowing what to do. Then as the arena is going
wild with anticipation both Savage and Steambot deck Hogan and start pulverizing him with kicks and punches. Savage goes up to the turnbuckle while
Steamboat holds him and hits the elbow. Savage does this three more times off of each turnbuckle knocking Hogan out cold. Then Steamboat revives the
ref while Savage pins Hogan for 1-2-3. Steamboat grabs the WWF title and puts it on Savages shoulder, they shake hands then look down at Hogan. They
then continue the pulverizing of Hogan kicking and punching him. Steamboat holds up Hogan while Savage hits Hogan with the WWF title. They continue to
beat on Hogan till Dibiase comes out from the back to ward them off. The end of the show shows a beaten down Hogan and Dibiase staring down Steamboat
and Savage who are in the aisle way.
This would set up Steamboat and Savage as a mega heel team and Dibiase and Hogan as Babyfaces. At SummerSlam they could have a double main event of
Savage vs Dibiase and Steamboat vs Hogan. At Survivor Series Both teams could build up teams for the main event. Maybe Savage, Steamboat, Andre, Rick
Rude and Big Bossman vs Hogan, Dibiase, Hurcules Hernandez, Jake Roberts, and Koko B. Ware.
Then towards the Royal Rumble Savage and Steamboat start to have problems because of Elizabeth. Steamboat cuts a face promo defending Liz from Savage
turning him into an instant face. At WM5 Savage and Steamboat meet for the WWF Title in another awesome encounter in which Steamboat wins cleanly.
Steamboats fun as champion is long and hard but thats another story....
