Man, my Wrestlemania 27 is going to end up looking a lot like yours. I like the idea of using Santino Marella to try to make Snooki less terrible.
Wrestlemania 22
Rob Van Dam def. Matt Hardy, John Bradshaw Layfield w/ Jillian Hall, Booker T w/ Sharmell, Chavo Guerrero and Edge w/ Lita -- Money in the
Bank
My philosophy on rebooking Money in the Bank matches is that they can contain no more than half the real-world participants. Here, we get RVD and
Hardy from the real-world match, plus Edge and JBL, both looking to recapture recent glory; Guerrero, who hopes to make an impact in Eddie
Guerrero's name as a couple of others are; and Booker, who just needs something to do. RVD's eventual cash-in is too good to change unless
absolutely necessary, and it's not absolutely necessary, so he still wins.
The Big Show & Kane (c) def. Gene Snitsky & Tyson Tomko -- World Tag Team Titles
I think the Snitsky/Tomko team could be a credible enough threat if booked right, and of course Snitsky and Kane have some history. But they're
not winning the titles, and in fact, the match is probably going to be over in a minute or two, because it's going to be terrible and we
don't need it taking up any more time than necessary.
Mark Henry w/ Daivari def. Bobby Lashley
Lashley remains undefeated up to this point, but hits a wall when he faces Henry. I'm tempted to just have Lashley go over, but Henry's
going to need a win at this point and the card's heavy enough on babyface victories as it is. Assume Lashley gets the win back soon enough.
The Undertaker def. Finlay
Finlay tries to make an impact right out of the gate by targeting 'Taker and beating the stuffing out of him on an occasion or two. 'Taker
definitely had his working pants on by this point, and he and Finlay could have a hell of a match. Finlay's not about to end the Streak,
though.
Mick Foley def. Ric Flair -- Hardcore Match
These two would mix it up later in the year with Foley as a heel, playing off some real-life animosity, so it just comes early here. For this one,
I'd have both guys go in as faces, but Foley heels it up pretty substantially to get the win.
Rey Mysterio def. Randy Orton
Orton makes some untoward comments about Mysterio trying to coast on Eddie's name without having any real accomplishments of his own -- a
preferable storyline, I think, to the tasteless one we got. Mysterio, of course, vows to prove Orton wrong, and he does so quite handily by besting
Orton at 'Mania.
Mickie James def. Trish Stratus (c) and Lita -- Women's Title, Triple Threat
Cop-out alert: I'm just adding Lita to the match to make it different from what we got. Might as well, though, as these three are easily the
most capable female workers on the roster. The Mickie victory goes forward as it did in the real world.
Brian Kendrick & Paul London def. MNM (c) w/ Melina, The Mexicools and Jamie Noble & Kid Kash -- WWE Tag Team Titles, Fatal Four-Way
I'm tempted to make this a ladder or TLC match, but we already have Money in the Bank so I don't want to go overboard. Kash and Noble
accelerate their partnership; they weren't teaming yet by this point, I don't think. Unfortunately, this one's not going to get the
time it deserves, but it should be fantastic for what it is. Kendrick and London win the belts a little earlier than they did in the real world.
Chris Benoit def. Kurt Angle (c) -- World Heavyweight Title
Here, it's Benoit, not Mysterio, who takes the "I'm doing this for Eddie" tack and wins the Royal Rumble. A tweener Angle doesn't
disparage Eddie, but he does tell Benoit that it's going to take more than Benoit has to win the belt here. Benoit proves him wrong. We get a
handshake after.
Shelton Benjamin (c) def. Carlito -- Intercontinental Title
Carlito beat former friend Chris Masters to earn this title shot, turning face in the process. Masters returns the favor by costing Carlito this
one.
John Cena (c) def. Triple H & Shawn Michaels -- WWE Title, Triple Threat
We got this three and a half years later. Michaels and HHH make it to the finals of a No. 1 contenders' tournament and go to a no contest, so
they both earn the shot, but in the end, Cena turns them both back.

Wrestlemania 23
HEAT: The Sandman, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer, Stevie Richards & Balls Mahoney def. Elijah Burke, Kevin Thorn, Matt Striker, Hardcore Holly &
Snitsky
This is the equivalent of the ECW Originals vs. New Breed match. It's relegated to the pre-show, but at least it's happening at all, yeah?
It's a feel-good match, so the faces win, though it's going to be Striker eating the pin as he has the least potential in WWE-think.
Edge def. Jeff Hardy, Montel Vontavious Porter, Kane, Matt Hardy, CM Punk, Rob Van Dam and Ric Flair -- Money in the Bank
We've got exactly half of the real-world line-up. RVD comes within a hair of winning, but Edge steals this one in the end, earning his second
briefcase and remaining undefeated at Wrestlemania.
Bobby Lashley (c) def. Marcus Cor Von -- ECW Title
I think Cor Von, built as the kind of powerful force he was in TNA, could have been a perfectly credible contender for Lashley, especially if
they're able to keep this match hard-hitting.
The Undertaker def. Umaga w/ Armando Estrada
Umaga's the perfect opponent for a Streak-conscious 'Taker, as Umaga has had a streak of his own recently. In fact, though he's
beaten by John Cena as in the real world at the Royal Rumble, that's his only loss to this point, and it's a Last Man Standing match, so
he still hasn't been pinned yet. Umaga could definitely go in the ring, so this match probably ends up way better than it has any right to be,
just like 'Taker's real-world bout with Batista. 'Taker goes up to 15-0 here.
Chris Benoit (c) def. Finlay w/ Hornswoggle -- United States Title
The title's just an excuse to get these guys to go one-on-one at 'Mania in what's sure to be a great match.
Shawn Michaels w/ Donald Trump def. King Booker w/ Mr. McMahon -- Battle of the Billionaires, No Disqualification
Supposedly, WWE was planning to have this match on the card, but slotted Michaels into the main event when Triple H got injured. So here, not only do
we get this never-before-seen match, we also get it as part of the Trump-McMahon feud, with the very same hair-versus-hair stipulation. Booker pulls
ahead when the Great Khali gets involved on McMahon's orders, giving Khali something to do on the card without having him crap up the ring by
actually wrestling. But just when all seems lost, glass shatters and Stone Cold Steve Austin shows up, wallops Khali with a few chairshots and
distracts Booker long enough for Michaels to hit Sweet Chin Music. Austin doles out Stunners to McMahon and Booker, and then McMahon gets his head
shaved. We'll throw in a Stunner to Trump as well, largely for my own entertainment.
Mr. Kennedy def. Batista (c) -- World Heavyweight Title
Kennedy was never on a hotter streak than he was at this point in time, so instead of losing to Batista at the Royal Rumble, I'm having him
enter and win the Rumble match, then go on to conquer the Animal at 'Mania.
Melina (c) def. Mickie James -- Women's Title
Oh no, I have to scrap the Melina-Ashley Massaro match that actually occurred? Whatever shall I do instead?
John Cena (c) def. Randy Orton -- WWE Title
This is the first one-on-one meeting between the WWE's two golden boys (well, except for a short throwaway that ended in DQ at the Eddie
Guerrero tribute show), so what seems obnoxious and overplayed in 2016 is actually unique in 2007. Orton earns his title shot ... somehow. Who cares.
The point is that we get this bout between two guys WWE definitely saw as the future of the company, and hopefully they can live up to the quality of
some of the earlier matches. The match seems tailor-made for Orton to win, but this is the main event and a heel already won the other world title
tonight, so I'm giving this one to Cena and sending the fans home happy. Well, as happy as they ever are when Cena wins in the main event. But
his opponent is 2007-era Orton, so they'll probably be OK with it.

Wrestlemania 24
Matt Hardy def. Montel Vontavious Porter (c) -- United States Title
If Hardy was healthy enough to appear at the real WM24 and then win the title the next month, he's healthy enough to win it here and pay off his
long-running feud with MVP.
Batista def. CM Punk, Umaga, Finlay w/ Hornswoggle, The Big Show, John Morrison and Shelton Benjamin -- Money in the Bank
Kind of a motley crew, I know, but I booked this line-up last and this is what I've got. Only seven participants, owing to Jeff Hardy's
getting himself suspended a few weeks before the show and not being replaced. Punk, Big Show and even Umaga come close, but after being sidelined by a
gang-up effort mid-match, Batista roars back, lays waste to the last couple of people standing and wins it.
Tommy Dreamer def. Chavo Guerrero w/ Bam Neely (c) -- ECW Title
Dreamer wins the dark match pre-show battle royal to challenge for the title. This one goes longer than the real-world Kane match, but not much
longer, and it ends with a feel-good moment for new champion Dreamer.
John Cena def. Mr. Kennedy
In this world, Cena didn't return at the Royal Rumble; his return is hyped for Wrestlemania, and he's coming for Mr. Kennedy, the man who
put him out of action and has been bragging about it. Kennedy puts up a brave front, but he's getting Super-Cena'd here, more or less, and
we all know it.
Mickie James def. Beth Phoenix (c) -- Women's Title
If you're going to have a Divas match, it might as well be a good one, and these two are the most capable members of the roster. Mickie ended up
beating Beth for the title less than a month later anyway, so why not do it here?
Chris Jericho def. Randy Orton (c) -- WWE Title
After John Bradshaw Layfield's interference costs Jericho the title against Orton at Armageddon, Orton manages to get a "no rematches" ruling
handed down, only for Jericho to win the Rumble. Orton spends two months dodging Jericho -- with Jericho putting down JBL at No Way Out -- but
it's for naught as Jericho finally gets his rematch here and conquers Orton to win the belt, completing his triumphant return.
The Brothers of Destruction def. D-Generation X
This doesn't have the gravitas it would have a year or two later, but taking all other cards into account, this is my best opportunity to do it.
I couldn't possibly come up with a storyline as good as what these four would work out, so I'm not even going to speculate as to how the
match happens, only that it does and it's absolutely epic.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. def. John Bradshaw Layfield -- No Holds Barred
If you need someone tough as nails to slug it out with a boxer like Mayweather and you can't use Big Show, JBL is a perfectly viable
alternative. You could play up their dueling money-centric gimmicks, and you could probably keep JBL as the heel and Mayweather as the face rather
than forcing a double turn as with Big Show. I think the build to this one would actually be pretty great, as for all his in-ring limitations, JBL was
dynamite with a microphone at this point.
Edge (c) def. Ric Flair -- World Heavyweight Title, Title vs. Career
Rather than do the "one more loss and you're fired" storyline with Flair, I have him lobby for one last title shot, and Edge eventually
acquiesces -- but only if Flair puts his career on the line. After an emotional match in which Flair just won't seem to stay down, Edge is
finally able to put him away and end Flair's storied career. Edge acts as though he's going to be respectful and help Flair to his feet,
but then he slaps Flair, drops him and laughs at him. That prompts a signature Flair low blow. With Edge curled into a ball in the ring, Flair rolls
out and, with tears in his eyes, prepares to head up the ramp for the very last time. He takes one longing look at the ring...
... and then "I Walk Alone" cues up.
Batista def. Edge (c) -- World Heavyweight Title
Batista thunders down to the ring, gets the go-ahead from an appreciative Flair, cashes in his newly-won Money in the Bank briefcase and crushes Edge
in short order to capture the title. Now we get the tribute Flair deserved, with Batista bringing the Nature Boy in the ring to celebrate with him,
along with a handful of other appropriate babyfaces (D-X, at the very least).

I remember the first big Cena vs Orton match was for SummerSlam 2007. Not a showstealer but decent enough. Lashley vs Cor Von sounds fun.
This next WM is tricky because a match was pre-booked before the year even started. Best I can think off is Cena winning the World Title and having to
defend the Title against the Rumble winner while at the same time having to honor the match with The Rock, which turns things into a Triple Threat.
Wrestlemania 28
US Title Scramble Match: Jack Swagger (c) vs Kofi Kingston vs Drew McIntyre vs Santino Marella vs Christian Santino might look slightly out
of a place but a match like this is perfect for him and this way each guy offers something different. Swagger's the hoss, Drew's the
despicable heat drawing heat, Kofi's the high flyer, Santino creates some great character moments and Christian's the vet that ties
everything together.
Inferno Match:Kane vs Zack RyderWhatever ceiling Ryder detractors say his gimmick has, the guy was enormously over and deserved to get a chance
to see how far it could take him. Inferno matches always make for a cool spectacle and it's gimmick enough for Kane to lose without really
losing but still propel Ryder to another level.
Team Teddy w/Maria Menounos vs Team Laurinaitis w/The Bellas : Big Show, Sheamus, Randy Orton and The Usos vs R Truth, David Otunga, Booker T and
The Colons Through Bellas distractions, Team Johnny scores multiple eliminations until Menounos atatcks the Bellas. With only Sheamus left, he
eliminates the entirety of Team Johnny by himself to get a strong moment.
IC Title Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs Chris Jericho
Instead of targeting Punk, Jericho comes back to break his record and become a 10 time IC Champion, giving Cody the big time match he deserves after a
fantastic run with the old school IC Belt.
Streak Gauntlet Match:The Undertaker vs Dolph Ziggler, Mark Henry, and The Miz
Miz wants to end the Streak but knows how outmatched he is. So after doing some favors for newly heel HHH, he gets to put Taker through the start of a
gauntlet. Miz vs a half-beaten Taker lets you do some fun stuff as the most slimmiest, asshole character the company has gets to be cocky and
disrespectful with the most sacred figure of the company. It creates the perfect situation for two polar opposites to clash in an effective and
believable manner. Miz doing a mocking Zombie sit up would be gold.
World Title Match:John Cena (c) vs The Rock vs Daniel Bryan
This match follows the format of the The Rock vs Angle vs HHH dynamic in 2000, the undisputed top two dogs and a sniving,opportunistc weasel who
keeps getting the better of both of them as they're too preoccupied with each other. Bonus, you can have a moment where The Rock has Cena beat
but is saved by Bryan. This creates the foundation of Cena vs Rock for next year's Mania which prevents it from being the dud that Cena vs Rock
2 was.
WWE Title Match:CM Punk (c) vs HHH
The Summer of Punk gets the conclusion it deserves. After Punk easily dispatches whatever roadblocks Laurinaitis, HHH is revealed as the puppet master
who really did have it against Punk and was just trying to appear as a cool level-headed boss. Punk after another Pipe Bomb pushes things to far and
HHH goes full heel. Since nobody else can do it, HHH takes it upon himself to silence the Voice of the Voiceless once and for all.

Wrestlemania 28 is a bitch to rebook because of the long-scheduled John Cena-The Rock match, but throwing Daniel Bryan in as a weasely add-on is a
solid strategy.
Wrestlemania 25
CM Punk def. The Big Show, Finlay, Vladimir Kozlov, Shelton Benjamin, Kofi Kingston, William Regal and Rey Mysterio -- Money in the Bank
Once again, I left this one until the end, so I ended up with kind of a ragtag crew. Punk's winning, just as he did in the real world; I
can't pass up the opportunity for a Punk-Jeff Hardy feud.
Legacy def. Ricky Steamboat, Roddy Piper & Jimmy Snuka w/ Ric Flair -- Elimination Tag
You have to admit that, on paper at least, this kind of makes more sense than what we got with Chris Jericho. I'd have Legacy make short work of
Piper and Snuka, then have Steamboat manage to take out Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase before falling to Randy Orton. Then you can have Mickey Rourke
punch out Rhodes and/or DiBiase afterward.
Montel Vontavious Porter (c) def. Kane -- United States Title
I'm just looking to get these guys on the card, mostly. But I think this could be a decent short match and a good defense for MVP, who'd
just won the title for the second time. You could play off their history from around MVP's debut a little, with the added dimension that now MVP
is the face and Kane is the heel.
Maryse (c) def. Victoria -- Divas' Title, Career vs. Title
Victoria had quietly retired early in 2009, only to return for the insufferable battle royal at Wrestlemania and then disappear again. Here, I'd
have her vow to win the Divas' Title by Wrestlemania or retire. She's on the way out, so Maryse beats her to retain and send Victoria
packing. I thought about having this be Victoria vs. Melina for the Women's Title, as Melina is a more capable worker than Maryse, but that
would also make this one face vs. face. Maryse is a heel and has more future in WWE-think, and I think that more than makes up for the skill deficit,
which isn't terribly significant anyway.
Chris Jericho def. Triple H (c) -- WWE Title
Jericho was red-hot in fall and late 2008, even if he had some inauspicious losses to John Cena in there. Here, I'd have him vow to bounce back
from those losses and ascend to the top of the mountain once more, no matter the cost. To that end, it would be he, not Orton, who attacks Mr. McMahon
prior to the Royal Rumble, who wins the Rumble match to earn a title shot and save his career, and who targets HHH after HHH wins the WWE Title.
I'll cut out some of the dumber parts of the HHH-Orton Angle and have Jericho working his Anton Chigurh gimmick to sow seeds of doubt in HHH,
culminating in Jericho besting him at 'Mania, seven years after HHH took the Undisputed Title from him.
Shawn Michaels def. John Bradshaw Layfield
I'm moving the blowoff to this feud back a month. If Michaels wins, he's free from JBL's control; if he loses, he has to retire.
Michaels wins, of course. The match is non-title. I'll have JBL quit himself in humiliation the next night on RAW after he drops the
Intercontinental Title in a matter of seconds, probably to Mysterio as in the real world.
Jeff Hardy def. Edge (c), Christian and Matt Hardy -- World Heavyweight Title, Four Corners
This ought to be fun. Matt doesn't turn on Jeff at the Rumble; instead, Jeff is waylaid by a masked man, costing him the title. So there's
still the mystery going forward of who's been targeting Jeff. When Christian returns, as a heel, everyone assumes it's him, though he
denies it. Somehow, we end up with this elimination match booked for 'Mania. Matt's eliminated first by an Edge/Christian double-team, but
then Jeff is able to take out Christian and Edge in succession to win the gold. Matt betrays him the next night on RAW, revealing himself as the
culprit and setting up a couple of nasty brawls between the two over the title on subsequent PPVs. Of course, when Jeff finally wins a decisive
victory, it's time for Punk to cash in...
The Undertaker def. John Cena
After losing the World Heavyweight Title, Cena runs into 'Taker, who tells him something cryptic about how a man who's done everything has
nothing. Cena, who's a multi-time world champion and has main-evented from here to eternity, eventually decides he wants to do something no one
has ever done: beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. We're going face-versus-face on this one, though the crowds will be solidly behind
'Taker, of course, especially when the booking subtly suggests that WWE wants Cena to be the man who ends the Streak (maybe someone in the front
office could float out some rumors to that effect to the dirt sheets, or something; they'll believe anything that reflects negatively on WWE).
But in the end, even the strength of Cena isn't enough to beat 'Taker on his night, and 'Taker wins a very hard-fought victory in a
very gripping match, with a handshake of mutual respect following.

This time Rock vs Cena was booked a few weeks before Mania so no need to do a cop out match. This one should be fun to book as you get a nice amount
of huge stars and newer acts with lots of momentum like The Shield and Daniel Bryan in prominent spots.
Wrestlemania 29
US Title Match: Antonio Cesaro (c) vs Randy Orton Fresh opponent for Orton, elevates the US Title and gives Cesaro a big match to showcase
himself. Everybody wins.
The Shield vs DX(HHH and the NAO)Good guy boss HHH pairs up with some old friends to try and stop the evil Shield. This gives The Shield a more
noticeable opposition than the boring rag tag group of peripheral Main Eventers that was Orton, Sheamus, and Big Show
Tag Team Title Ladder Match : Team Hell No vs The Rhodes Scholars vs The Usos vs The PTP With how over Team Hell No was, this was a great
chance to give the tag titles a spotlight match.
LMS Match:Chris Jericho vs Dolph Ziggler Y2J vs Dolp goes all the way to WM.
World Title Match: Alberto Del Rio (c) vs Mark Henry
Del Rio was a fun Face Champion and was basically the Mexican Bret Hart. ''Hall of Pain'' Mark Henry would be an adversary
worthy of Bret himself.
Grudge Match:John Cena vs CM Punk
The 5 star match we got on RAW makes it to the big stage as Cena finally gets a win over Punk after two years of either losing or non-finishes.
Streak Match:The Undertaker vs Sheamus
For one WM, we change formula and have Taker do a quasi-heel turn. Having lost Paul Bearer, Taker goes beserk randomly attacking people out of
frustration and anger. He begs for anybody to face him at Mania, Sheamus accepts and Takers says he'll sacrifice him in the name of his father
figure. We get the hellacious brawl these two are capable of and it ends with Taker getting out of his funk to set things up back to status quo. I
know Taker vs Sheamus isn't the most riveting thing ever, but Taker going tweener for it would give it an extra oomph factor.
WWE Title Match:The Rock (c) vs Brock Lesnar
The two biggest stars in the company, the Hollywood Superstar and the MMA PPV Mega draw duke it out. Lesnar wins and instead of wasting his matches on
HHH and Big Show, he has awesome Title defenses against Punk and Bryan.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Mark Henry would be a really interesting title match, especially coming off Del Rio's feud with Big Show, when he was still
a really good babyface. Maybe he has more of a future as a babyface if he doesn't lose everyone's interest in that awful feud with Jack
Swagger. I also like the idea of Antonio Cesaro vs. Randy Orton in a match that can "make" Cesaro; Orton was still in the doghouse at this point, so
it's not an unthinkable booking move.
Wrestlemania 26
Drew McIntyre (c) def. Matt Hardy -- Intercontinental Title
There was enough fuss about McIntyre at this point that he deserved to be more than just another name in Money in the Bank. If he's going to
defend the title, it might as well be against Hardy, who was already being set up as an opponent for him. It's too soon for McIntyre to lose the
title, though.
CM Punk w/ Luke Gallows & Serena def. Kane
Punk targets Kane, telling Kane that carnage and destruction are his addictions and he needs the guidance only the Straight Edge Savior can provide.
Kane is not amused. I think the lead-up to this match could be really good, and could get Kane out of the rut he was in at this stage. This is a match
set up to make Punk look good, though, so Kane's not winning. Maybe he can get a bit of an assist from Gallows, but frankly, you don't
lose anything by jobbing Kane clean at this point in history.
John Morrison def. Rey Mysterio, Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin, Evan Bourne, Jack Swagger, Montel Vontavious Porter, R-Truth, Mark Henry and
William Regal -- Money in the Bank
WWE clearly wanted to do something more with Morrison, and here's their chance: He wins the biggest Money in the Bank in history. I'd
probably have him announce his cash-in in advance, a la Rob Van Dam, when it became appropriate. For once, I ended up with what I think is a pretty
solid line-up for MITB. I'd have Regal come the closest before Morrison takes it; just the intrigue of that possibility would get the crowd
buzzing.
Bret Hart & the Hart Dynasty w/ Natalya def. Legacy w/ Mr. McMahon
McMahon targets Hart as he did in the real world, but rather than fight Hart himself, he recruits Legacy to do his dirty work, reasoning that the man
who did so much damage to him and his family the year before (Randy Orton) can do the same and worse to Hart. The Hart Dynasty, naturally, takes
exception and turns face to join the Hitman. As you can imagine, Hart's not really going to be doing much in-ring; maybe McMahon low-blows or
chopblocks him behind the ref's back to safely put him down for a while. But Legacy infighting allows the Hart team to overcome the numerical
disadvantage, and when McMahon starts berating his team for not living up to his standards, Orton says "screw this," RKOs him and walks out, turning
face in the process. With Hart recovered, the 3-on-2 is reversed, and Hart gets tagged in long enough to tap out Cody Rhodes or Ted DiBiase with the
Sharpshooter. McMahon gets one, too, after the bell, of course.
John Cena def. Sheamus -- Last Man Standing
Cena never managed to get his win back from Sheamus, so he gets it here in a hard-fought grudge match. There are tons of faces going over on this
card, and I want to give this one to Sheamus, but storyline-wise, it just makes too much sense for Cena to win here.
Edge & Christian def. Show-Miz (c) -- Unified Tag Team Titles
Rather than target his old tag team partner, Chris Jericho, I'm having Edge target the man who replaced him, Big Show. When he needs an ally to
challenge for the titles, who would he turn to but his old buddy Christian, fresh off his run with the ECW Title? Unless one of them is turning heel,
Edge & Christian have to win this one, and neither of them is, so they win.
Kofi Kingston def. Batista (c) -- WWE Title
In this world, Kingston never loses his push due to an Orton temper tantrum. In a tremendous display of courage, he manages to win the Royal Rumble.
When Batista wins the title, he guffaws at the possibility of having to defend it against Kingston, saying he was worried he might have to face a real
contender. Despite all Batista's mockery, Kingston -- who knocks off Orton one-on-one at Elimination Chamber en route -- brings 110 percent to
'Mania and dethrones the Animal to capture the gold.
Triple H def. Shawn Michaels -- Career Threatening Match
Michaels gets saddled with the same thing Ric Flair got saddled with two years prior: His next loss will be his final match. He turns back some tough
contenders in January and February, and then challenges HHH, who reluctantly accepts after some prodding. I'd like to have Flair at ringside for
this one, but he's in TNA so it's not an option. After an emotional match, HHH appears to show mercy, but Michaels convinces him to finish
it, and a final Pedigree ends Michaels' career.
Beth Phoenix w/ Mickie James def. Michelle McCool w/ Layla (c) -- Divas Title
Goodbye, awful 10-woman tag. Hello, one-on-one match between two capable competitors. Mickie is at ringside to keep Layla from getting involved, and
as part of her own grudge against LayCool. This won't get much time, but it'll get enough, and end with Beth conquering Michelle.
The Undertaker def. Chris Jericho (c) -- World Heavyweight Title
Jericho beats 'Taker for the title at Elimination Chamber, but never actually mixes it up with him; he hangs back and lets his opponents beat
one another senseless, then swoops in to pin someone else (maybe Mysterio?) immediately after 'Taker is eliminated to win the belt. 'Taker
then targets Jericho, who dodges him up until 'Mania while still making assurances that he'll destroy the Dead Man and the Streak. We all
know better, though. It's a great match, and the momentous first one-on-one PPV contest between 'Taker and Jericho, but this is ending
only one way: 17-0.

E&C; reuniing to take on ShowMiz is perfect, really should have atleast been a big Main Event on a SD leading to Edge vs Jericho. Punk vs Kane is also
a compelling thought with that storyline in mind.

Wrestlemania 27
Sheamus (c) def. Kofi Kingston -- United States Title
This is the one that gets bumped to a dark match if time constraints dictate. Sheamus just won the title, he's not about to lose it so
quickly.
Alberto Del Rio w/ Ricardo Rodriguez def. Randy Orton
Sure, why not? Maybe you have Del Rio, rather than CM Punk, cost Orton his title match at the Royal Rumble. It's just a way to give these two
top guys something to do. Tough as Orton is to beat at this point in history, he needs to lose so we can get a solid heel victory on the card.
Daniel Bryan, The Big Show, R-Truth, Rey Mysterio & Mark Henry w/ Jerry Lawler def. Ezekiel Jackson, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre &
Kane w/ Michael Cole
I can't do a straight-up Lawler-Cole match, but Cole needs to get his comeuppance, so we're doing it by proxy, with sort of a Team
Teddy-Team Johnny vibe. Bryan, who's been criticized by Cole from day one, needs to be on Lawler's team; the rest are just people who
would fit with this type of match. It's worth noting that Kane is still a heel; in the real world, he had only turned face a few weeks
beforehand to feud with the Corre, and that hasn't happened here. The stipulation is that Lawler gets five minutes in the ring with Cole if his
team wins, so after the match, Cole gets his just desserts from the King.
Triple H def. Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero
Ziggler immediately picks a fight with HHH upon his return, saying HHH is old news etc. etc. etc. So we get a match, and although Ziggler acquits
himself well, he doesn't have the gravitas at this point to beat the Game.
Edge (c) def. Christian -- World Heavyweight Title
When Edge needs a challenger, the Rumble winner having chosen to vie for the WWE Title, Christian makes his return to TV and wins some sort of No. 1
contenders' affair to earn the shot. Both guys get more and more intense as the weeks go on, suggesting that one might turn heel, but neither
does (yet). There was no way to know Edge would have to retire shortly afterward, so I'm putting him over here in anticipation of a rematch that
sees Christian turn heel. Of course, that rematch will never happen, but nobody knows that at the time.
The Undertaker def. Wade Barrett w/ Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel
Look, we're actually paying off Nexus' attack on 'Taker! OK, so 'Taker got buried alive by Kane back in the fall with help
from Nexus, under Barrett's direction, so when he reappears, it's to target Barrett and the Corre. Ezekiel Jackson is busy with the 10-man
tag, but Barrett brings Slater and Gabriel with him to tip the scales in his favor. Either 'Taker takes them out early on, or maybe Santino
Marella & Vladimir Kozlov show up to run them off. Either way, it goes back down to one-on-one, and Barrett's not about to end the Streak.
Eve Torres, Natalya & Snooki def. LayCool & Vickie Guerrero
I need to have a Diva match, I need to use Snooki, this is the best I can come up with. Eve is the Divas' Champion, so might as well use her,
and Natalya had been feuding with LayCool, so we'll include her. I like Trish Stratus, but she's unnecessary. Vickie Guerrero is only in
this so there's somebody comparably untrained on the heel side, and so Snooki can pin someone who won't be hurt by it, because of course
Snooki has to score the pin.
John Morrison def. The Miz (c) -- WWE Title
Rather than wasting this match on RAW, we stretch the feud out to 'Mania. Morrison did earn a title shot at TLC, so I can't unbook that,
but that's easy enough; I'll just have Miz walk out or get himself disqualified. Morrison then wins the Rumble for another crack at Miz,
and this time, he makes it count, besting Miz and winning his first world title.
John Cena def. CM Punk -- guest enforcer The Rock
Punk decided to target Cena at the beginning of the year, but the feud was blown off with a series of matches on RAW. Here, it gets stretched out all
the way to 'Mania, and Cena runs through Punk's New Nexus allies (as Orton did in the real world) to make the match truly one-on-one. Rock
antagonizes both guys after being announced as the host of Wrestlemania, and eventually he's made the special ring enforcer. I'm not
particularly thrilled about not having a title match as the main event, but this match just has more star power than Miz-Morrison, and I can't
do anything about Miz being champion. Anyway, I think the presence of the Rock in an official role elevates this one enough to make it the main, if
the combined impact of Cena and Punk isn't enough. Cena wins, as you'd expect him to, and then eats a Rock Bottom, setting up the big
Cena-Rock match later.

Shit, completely forgot to include Cole in my WM27 rebook, ah fuck, if Bryan beats Del Rio he gets to face Cole. After Bryan/Del Rio we get a quick 2
minute squash with Bryan finally shutting Cole up.HHH vs Zigs would be fun and bonus, it's so early in Ziggler's rise that the lost
wouldn't hurt him.
Wrestlemania 30
Andre The Giant Battle Royal:
No real way to rebook this one besides picking another winner, I'll go with a guy who is also insanely strong in Big E to redo the Andre body
slam spot with Big Show.
Elimination Match: The Shield vs The Wyatt Family
The epic stable feud makes it all the way to WM!
Submission Match:AJ Lee vs Natayla
We take advantage of the no dq to let the Total Divas and regular Divas brawl around helping their respective brethren before the endgame between AJ
and Nattie.
Triple H vs Dolph Ziggler
It was supposed to be Bryan and Punk vs the Authority going into Mania, instead of Bryan going at it alone, we get Ziggler having enough of the
Authority's crap.
Brock Lesnar vs Batista
Batista in no way is made to look like the guy who'll take Bryan's spot and stays over enough to play a face to Brock Lesnar, for a mega
hoss fight.
Streak Match:The Undertaker vs John Cena
Third time I book this but come on! It's WM30, these guys have beaten everybody else.
WWE Title Ironman Match:Randy Orton(c) vs Daniel Bryan
Bryan wins the Rumble and The Authority screws him out of the No.1 Contendership. Bryan occupies the ring and forces them to hand it back. HHH and
Stephanie finally realize that the fans will keep hijacking shows as long as they believe in Daniel Bryan and helping Orton so much just adds more
fuel to the fire. HHH tells Orton he needs to man up and prove he's the better man to finally silence the Yes Movement. Boom, instead of
channeling Bret Hart at WM10, Bryan channels WM12 HBK.

A Divas' submission match would be interesting, and Natalya and AJ Lee would definitely be the two to do it at Wrestlemania 30.
Wrestlemania 28
Pre-show: Primo & Epico (c) w/ Rosa Mendes def. Booker T & Goldust -- WWE Tag Team Titles
The tag division was pretty pathetic at this point, so might as well punch it up with a couple veterans. Booker was still competing every once in a
while -- I believe the real-world Wrestlemania 28 was his last televised match -- and Goldust was still on the roster, though he hadn't wrestled
in over a year. So this'll be a one-time-only thing to challenge the upstart champions, who've been bragging about their dominating the
division. And Primo & Epico will actually get a meaningful win.
Zack Ryder def. Santino Marella (c), Sheamus, Jack Swagger w/ Vickie Guerrero, Kofi Kingston and R-Truth -- United States Title, Six-Pack
Challenge
I'm not doing the Team Teddy-Team Johnny match, so I have a lot of guys who need to get on the card, and a couple of matches for the midcard
titles is the way to do it, I think. Marella throws out an open challenge, and all these guys are former U.S. Champions, so it ought to work.
There's going to need to be a concerted, multi-man effort to neutralize Sheamus, and then everybody else is around the same level. Marella
didn't need the title, so I'm shuffling it back to Ryder, who could have really used a feel-good moment. Oh, and of course, he gets the
girl, too; Eve Torres never turns heel, nor does she get involved in that stupid angle with John Cena, so she ends up with Ryder here.
Daniel Bryan (c) w/ AJ Lee def. Chris Jericho -- World Heavyweight Title
Jericho returns as a face and wins the Royal Rumble, choosing to challenge a cocky Bryan. I didn't mind the real-world Jericho-CM Punk build as
much as some other people did, but I think this build could be great, given the in-ring skills of both men and the comedic chops of both plus AJ. Then
there's their shared history from Bryan's NXT debut. I actually thought about putting Jericho over here, as I think this card is the ideal
endpoint for Bryan's title reign, but there's no point using Jericho at this stage in his career except to put people over, so I'm
keeping the title on Bryan for a little longer.
Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero def. Triple H
Ziggler was a lot closer to the main event at this point after his feud with Punk earlier in the year. Plus, he's got the support of John
Laurinaitis, at least nominally. So when HHH shows up to start opposing some of Laurinaitis' executive decisions, Laurinaitis sics Ziggler on
him. Ziggler probably takes some beatings en route to 'Mania, and everyone on the Internet is sure HHH is about to squash him back down to the
midcard, but after taking a tremendous thrashing, Ziggler manages to pull off a victory by the skin of his teeth.
Maria Menounos & Trish Stratus def. Beth Phoenix & Lita
I think it wouldn't have been too tough to convince Trish and Lita to come back for a one-off, one supporting heel Divas' Champion Beth
Phoenix and one supporting babyface (ugh) Maria Menounos. And of course it's a celebrity match, so Menounos has to win. But at least Kelly Kelly
isn't around to waste everyone's time.
John Cena def. Kane
We're stretching this one out to 'Mania, since we can't do the match with the Rock. Now, Rock-Cena was booked a year prior, and I
can't undo that, but I have an explanation for it that I'll get into in the write-up for Rock's match. At any rate, once Rock-Cena
is off the table, Kane starts showing up, trying to get Cena to doubt himself. Cena, with more time to commit to the angle, starts to make it look
like he might consider going heel. But of course, in the end, he doesn't, and he beats Kane without having to go to extreme lengths. Da da da
daaaaaaaa.
Cody Rhodes (c) def. The Big Show, The Great Khali, Mark Henry, Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre -- Intercontinental Title, Six-Pack Challenge
This is getting booked for the same reason as the U.S. Title match, except whereas that was an open challenge from Marella, this one is something
Rhodes gets pushed into, maybe by Teddy Long or something. And certainly, the odds appear to be stacked against Rhodes, as he's in there with
three monsters, a slumming Orton and a just-happy-to-be-here McIntyre. In the end, though, he manages to squeeze out a victory. Big Show and Khali
kinda destroy each other, Orton gets preoccupied with Henry and Rhodes sneaks a pinfall on McIntyre, who's just been RKOed.
The Undertaker def. The Miz
Considering Miz beat John effing Cena in the main event of the previous year's 'Mania, I think he could work as a serviceable opponent for
'Taker. He could even play up the fact that he's undefeated at Wrestlemania, just like 'Taker, though he's only 2-0 to
'Taker's 18-0 (and only if you don't count dark matches). I think 'Taker could even give Miz some decent offense in this one.
But we all know who's winning.
CM Punk (c) def. The Rock -- WWE Title
So Rock is supposed to face Cena. But then, at the beginning of the year, Cena loses some sort of stipulation match, and Laurinaitis -- looking to
stick it to him -- takes away his bout with Rock. Punk, in an unconnected segment, says it's just as well, because Rock doesn't deserve to
be in the main event of 'Mania. Rock then shows up, taking exception, and tells Punk if he thinks he's better than Rock, just bring it.
I'm going to keep Punk a face for this one, and just let him and Rock take the gloves off on the mic leading up to 'Mania, as WWE did with
Rock and Cena. Those promos will be just cringe-inducingly brutal, and it will be awesome. Trouble is, by this point, if I'm booking, I have to
know Rock is open to returning for Wrestlemania 29, so I want him to look strong here. But he's not going to be around for a while after this
Wrestlemania, so I can't put the belt on him. Fortunately, there's a simple solution. After a grueling match, Rock appears to have Punk
beat -- and then Cena shows up and costs him the match, making them even, as Rock cost Cena a title match the previous year. It doesn't make
Punk look super-strong, but he's in the middle of a record-smashing title reign, so he'll live.

Taker vs Miz would have been awesome. I can't think of two guys who'd have a bigger contrast. It's the sacred cow of wrestling and
the guy who people just can't take seriously no matter what he does.
I think I'd switch the six pack challenges for either a 5 man Scramble or an 8 man Elimination Match. Being a 6 person match for the midcard
titles I feel would draw unfavorbale comparisons to Chamber matches the month before. You could add Christian, Brodus Clay, Sin Cara, and Otunga who
sucks up his way into one of the matches.

The Elimination Chamber comparison didn't even occur to me. I suppose I could say "Oh, well it's different, because it's one fall
to a finish!" and only do one Chamber match at the Chamber PPV.
Wrestlemania 29
Pre-show: Fandango def. The Miz
If we have to debut Fandango at 'Mania, might as well stick it on the pre-show and put him over someone nobody cares about. Good thing these
rebooks aren't sequential, because that would mean Miz went from challenging the Streak to jobbing to a dancing jackass on the pre-show.
That's what you get for turning face!
The Shield def. The Big Show, Mark Henry & Jack Swagger and Randy Orton, Sheamus & Rey Mysterio -- Triple Threat
If no three-man team can stop the Shield, how about two three-man teams? They were targeting everyone, regardless of alignment, so here's a heel
team and a face team, each consisting of three former world champions. Of course, the face team and heel team are fighting each other, too;
they're not all ganging up on the Shield, and that's one of the reasons the Shield manages to hold onto its unbeaten streak here.
I'm thinking you have Swagger or Mysterio get pinned, as they're the guys the booking team cares the least about.
Alberto Del Rio w/ Ricardo Rodriguez (c) def. Chris Jericho -- World Heavyweight Title
This'd be a hell of a lot better than the awful Del Rio-Swagger feud. Jericho's probably taken a hit in credibility since we last saw him,
but Del Rio-Swagger at Wrestlemania was pretty much the nadir of the World Heavyweight Title's importance, so it shouldn't be a problem.
I'm having Jericho either return as a heel or quickly turn heel after returning as a face to get his revenge on Dolph Ziggler. He's
jobbing, of course.
Ryback def. John Cena
Here, Ryback's only pinfall loss was to CM Punk at Hell in a Cell; Punk retained against him on the first RAW of the year, but in a ladder
match, and he hasn't been beaten since. Frustrated at not being able to get that big win, he starts kinda lashing out, and one of those
lash-outs is at Cena, who's part of a three-man team that loses to the Shield at Elimination Chamber. That leads to a challenge, then this
match, where Ryback wants to prove himself. Ryback can't seem to keep Cena down, and he gets even more frustrated. Finally, the ref takes a
bump, and Ryback, after some internal debate, wallops Cena with a chair, then hits a final Shellshocked as the ref recovers, winning the match and
turning heel in the process.
Team Hell No (c) def. Antonio Cesaro & Wade Barrett -- WWE Tag Team, Intercontinental and United States titles
I'm throwing the midcard heel champions together here to throw out a challenge to the tag champs for all the marbles, which I think ought to add
some intrigue to this one. I had a tough time picking a winner here, as Cesaro and Barrett are both good champions, but I still want the Shield to end
up as tag champs soon and they should be taking the belts off a face team.
CM Punk w/ Paul Heyman def. Triple H -- No Holds Barred
HHH wants some payback on Brock Lesnar following his return to TV, but Lesnar is otherwise occupied, so Punk steps up to challenge the man he thinks
stole the spotlight from him a year and a half ago. You have to be careful with the build, because the crowd is going to naturally want to cheer Punk
over HHH, but I think Heyman would be a big help with that problem. A lot of HHH's grudge matches around this time were no-DQ, so we'll
add that stipulation just to ramp up the violence some more. No goddamn way is HHH winning.
AJ Lee def. Kaitlyn (c) -- Divas' Title
Might as well move this match forward a month, right? Kaitlyn was an acceptable Divas' Champion, but the real star of the Divas' division
is AJ, and the sooner she gets the belt, the better.
The Undertaker def. Dolph Ziggler w/ Big E Langston
Oh man, am I pissing off the Internet with this one. But I'm not ending the Streak at WM29, not if I can still have 'Taker at WM30. It
kinda writes itself; Ziggler wants to make an impact, and because he's the Show-off, he wants to do it by challenging the Dead Man. I would
expect it to be a great match, with Ziggler just barely falling short; I don't think he'd be hurt too badly, because in this reality, he
isn't jobbing on RAW every week. And he's cashing in Money in the Bank tomorrow, so the Internet will get over it.
Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman def. The Rock (c) -- WWE Title
At the beginning of the year, Heyman announces that he has somehow -- who cares how -- gotten Lesnar entered into the Royal Rumble. Not especially
surprisingly, Lesnar lays waste to the competition and wins the thing, punching his ticket for 'Mania against the Rock, who's just taken
the title from Punk. I think watching Rock and Heyman spar in the weeks leading up to 'Mania would be a lot of fun, even if you're not
going to get either Rock or Lesnar competing on free TV. Yeah, you're going from one part-time champion to another, but that's OK, I
think; you can get more mileage out of Lesnar as champ than out of Rock, at least. Rock's going to have to put up a good fight, because
he's the Rock, but in the end, Lesnar wins clean.

Wrestlemania 30
Pre-show: The Usos (c) def. Rybaxel, Goldust & Cody Rhodes, the New Age Outlaws, Los Matadores and Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara -- WWE Tag Team Titles,
Tag Team Turmoil
I'm making this Tag Team Turmoil to make a more memorable 'Mania for some of the participants. Rybaxel beat Los Matadores, Goldust &
Rhodes beat Rybaxel, Usos beat Goldust & Rhodes. The Outlaws come in next and get promptly thrashed by the Usos, and then the Usos and the
Mysterio/Sin Cara team have a good exchange before the Usos come out victorious to retain the titles.
The Shield def. the Wyatt Family
I'm pushing this one back from Elimination Chamber, so this is the first meeting between these two teams, with the Shield having turned face --
or at least de facto face -- in the weeks leading up to the show. Result's the same.
Cesaro def. Triple H
I'm going a little off the wall with this one, but what the hell, why not. The Real Americans break up early in the year when Cesaro starts
pursuing the WWE World Heavyweight Title and Zeb Colter questions his commitment to the cause. Some sort of comment from HHH about Cesaro not being
the kind of best-for-business champion the Authority wants prompts Cesaro to step up to HHH and challenge him for 'Mania. HHH laughs him off at
first, but eventually Cesaro pisses him off enough to get him to agree. This, then, is a star-making match for Cesaro, and the crowd goes crazy for
his big-stage win.
Sheamus def. Alberto Del Rio, Big E, The Big Show, Brad Maddox, Brodus Clay, Curt Hawkins, Damien Sandow, Darren Young, David Otunga, Dolph
Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Fandango, The Great Khali, Heath Slater, Jack Swagger, Jinder Mahal, JTG, Justin Gabriel, Kane, Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry, The

This one comes down to Sheamus and Del Rio, and Sheamus finally ousts his one-time rival to win the whole thing. It initially looks like a throwaway
feel-good moment, but it's really a means to set up Sheamus as a challenger for the new champion -- more on that later -- when Sheamus suddenly
turns heel in the following weeks. Of course, I'm sure you can guess who that new champion will be, so you know he won't have a lot of
time for a meaningful feud, but there's no way I, as the nominal booker, could know that.
Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman def. Batista
If these two aren't going after the Streak and the title, respectively, there's really no better opponent for either. If he's not
taking Daniel Bryan's push away, I think the crowd would have been happy to get behind Batista, so at least we'll have a good crowd
dynamic for this one, if not that good of a match. I'm tempted to put Batista over, since he's the returning conquering hero, but I like
Lesnar too much as an unstoppable force of nature to have him drop this one. Batista's not sticking around for long, anyway.
AJ Lee w/ Tamina Snuka (c) def. Brie Bella and Nikki Bella -- Divas' Title, Triple Threat
A triple threat against the Bellas seems like a good way to have the Divas' Title contested on such a big stage. You can have AJ win via Bella
miscommunication, Tamina involvement or a combination of both. I thought about just doing AJ vs. Naomi, as that was where the booking seemed to be
going in the real world, but I believe the 14-Diva schmozz we got was prompted by Naomi getting injured shortly before the show, so it would kind of
be cheating to just do the match anyway, I think.
The Undertaker def. John Cena
Well, this one writes itself. Cena wants to do what no one else has done and conquer the Streak, and Wrestlemania 30 seems like the perfect place to
do it. I actually was very tempted to have Cena win here, because 'Taker's future was in question, and at this point in time, most people
thought Cena might be the only person WWE would be willing to have end the Streak (though, of course, WWE proved us wrong by having Lesnar do it). But
that worked for Lesnar because he was a heel. Cena has enough trouble getting more cheers than boos, and with that in mind, having him end the Streak
would probably do him more harm than good, unless you're turning him heel, which I'm not. So 'Taker wins, and the Streak extends to
22-0.
Daniel Bryan def. Randy Orton (c) -- WWE World Heavyweight Title
This is easy enough: Just continue forward with the booking plans WWE very, very clearly had before they decided inexplicably that Batista would be a
better draw. Bryan wins the Royal Rumble, goes after the title he was robbed of back in the summer and fall, ends Orton's reign at the top, cue
confetti and "Yes!" chants.

Wrestlemania 31
Pre-show: The Ascension def. Tyson Kidd & Cesaro (c) w/ Natalya -- WWE Tag Team Titles
In my universe, the Ascension debut as conquering, kinda self-parodying faces, paying tribute to the likes of Demolition and the Legion of Doom rather
than dismissing them. Having them challenge and win the titles at 'Mania just makes sense if you want to run with them, which I'm sure WWE
did until it became clear they weren't connecting as heels. I feel kinda bad about taking the titles off Kidd and Cesaro so soon, but
they'll recover.
Pre-show: Bray Wyatt def. Adam Rose, Adrian Neville, Alex Riley, Big E, The Big Show, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, Damien Mizdow, Darren Young, Diego,
Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan, Fandango, Fernando, Goldust, Heath Slater, Jack Swagger, Jimmy Uso, Kane, Kofi Kingston, Luke Harper, Mark Henry, The Miz,
R-Truth, Sin Cara, Stardust, Titus O'Neil, Xavier Woods and Zack Ryder -- Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
The Miz-Mizdow split can still happen during the course of the match. And I'll also plant the seed for the Goldust/Stardust split, which
won't have happened yet. Ziggler impresses everyone with his showing, but in the end, Wyatt manages to dump the Show-off to win the whole thing,
giving him the type of big win he needed (even if it's on the pre-show).
Dean Ambrose def. Seth Rollins w/ J&J; Security -- Last Man Standing
When Brock Lesnar returns to TV, Rollins makes a couple of overtures toward cashing in Money in the Bank, but Ambrose keeps his promise from the year
prior and repeatedly pops up to thwart him. Ambrose agrees to stop ruining Rollins' cash-ins if Rollins faces him in a Last Man Standing match
at 'Mania, and Rollins reluctantly accepts. I think the stipulation would keep this bout different enough from their previous encounters. J&J;
Security try to save Rollins, only to be run off by a returning Randy Orton, and Ambrose is able to finally get his revenge on Rollins.
John Cena def. Bad News Barrett (c) -- Intercontinental Title
Barrett mocks Cena for not regaining the WWE World Heavyweight Title, Cena challenges him for Barrett's IC Title, and here we go. This is mostly
designed to give Cena a win and something to do; unfortunately, Barrett is getting Super-Cena'd here, though it's probably not any worse
than the constant jobbing he did in the real world. Cena subsequently uses the IC, rather than the United States, for his series of open challenges,
so we still get that.
The Undertaker def. Sting
Might as well do this match if Sting can't face Triple H. There's no more Streak, so there's not as much impetus to put 'Taker
over, but it's not like Sting would actually do anything constructive with his win here if he got one, so let's let 'Taker have
it.
Ryback def. Rusev w/ Lana (c) -- United States Title
I thought WWE was going this direction coming into 2015, actually. I think a resurgent Ryback, who knows a thing or two about undefeated streaks,
would be a prime opponent for Rusev. 'Mania is a perfect place for Rusev to lose his streak and his title, and Ryback will definitely be able to
use the victory.
Roman Reigns def. Triple H
This'll play off the Shield-Evolution matches from last year. HHH is tired of Reigns thinking he can do whatever he wants, a challenge is made,
and we have a 'Mania match. With no Royal Rumble win and HHH as an opponent, I suspect the crowds would be perfectly willing to back Reigns here
as he fells the Game and gets a major singles victory. Fun fact: I came up with this card back in June or something, well before everyone decided this
match was going to be the worst Wrestlemania match ever. You're welcome.
Paige def. Brie Bella, Nikki Bella (c) and AJ Lee -- Divas' Title, Fatal Four-Way
This would have been better than what we got, I think. Paige and AJ both want the title, and we already did a triple threat back in the fall, so
we'll throw in Brie for some added intrigue. Paige is the future of the division, at least more so than the other participants, so she has to
win.
Daniel Bryan def. Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman (c) -- WWE World Heavyweight Title
I wasn't necessarily against the idea of Reigns as conquering hero the way a lot of other people were, so I'm not going to call this
perfect-world booking, but if it's not Reigns -- and per the rules, it can't be -- it has to be Bryan. Bryan wins the Rumble, naturally,
and despite the odds being against him, manages to be the one to slay the Beast and recapture the gold. Who knows how much of a future he�s got with
the belt � circumstances will be different, so maybe he doesn�t get that career-ending concussion � but everyone knows he�s on borrowed time, so he
can�t keep the belt for long. Fortunately, Rollins still has the Money in the Bank briefcase, so there's an easy way to get the belt off Bryan
if need be.

I believe Cesaro had beaten Orton in the build up to their Chamber match and the following show took Cena to the limit. Cesaro vs HHH wouldn't
that be out of the left field, especially with Cesaro having beaten HHH's handpicked guy.
For the WM31 preshow, I switch the IC Title and Tag Team Title matches, letting Barrett have a consequence free IC Title match, and upgrading the Tag
match to a ladder match.
Wrestlemania 31
US Title Match:Rusev(c) vs Mizdow Continuing their quest of dismantling America, Lana has Rusev challenge the most vulgar, overbearing person
who shows what is wrong with Americ, The Miz. Miz pretends to be the American hero who will slay the evil foreigner(with cheesy 80s hero-esque promos
of course) only to feed Mizdow to the wolves come WM time. Then, we get an incredible upset that leads to all sort of fun possibilities.
Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton I think these two would be great rivals and I hope it's a feud we get to see once Orton returns.
Diva's Title Six Pack Challenge:Nikki(c) vs Paige vs Brie vs AJ Lee vs Nattie vs Naomi
Tag Team Title Ladder Match: Cesaro and Kidd(c) vs Harper and Rowan vs The Usos vs The Dust Brothers We save the Rhodes break up for another
time when they will actually be given time and Wyatt bring Rowan back to the flock.
LMS Match:Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambose The best rivalry of 2014 gets reignited and gets a proper conclusion at the Grandest Stage of Them All
John Cena vs Roman Reigns
Cena actually faces consequences for bringing back the Authority as faces start calling him out for undoing all that the other faces worked so hard
for. This leads to Reigns throwing shade at him and telling Cena to stop acting like he's the voice of the lockeroom and accept it's a new
generation and Cena doesn't speak for none of them. Basically, Reigns goes Anti-Cena which gives him the perfect platform to get a really strong
victory at WM that fans won't crap on.
No Holds Barred:HHH vs Dolph Ziggler
Following momentum of SS14 takes all the way to this. HHH not being satisfied with being back in power, makes Ziggler's life hell, wanting to
destroy the man who has already dethroned King of Kings once.
The Legend vs The Icon:The Undertaker vs Sting
What else need to be said?
WWE Title Match:Brock Lesnar (c) vs Daniel Bryan
The greatest monster heel, maybe ever, versus the hottest face in years. It's simple booking, Bryan being injury prone doesn't really
matter as I'd have Lesnar win to continue his streak of winning when you think he is going to lose(vs Taker at WM, vs Cena, and now vs a face in
the main event of WM) and I'd save the Rollins cash in for another ppv.

Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton is definitely an intriguing possibility. In retrospect, considering I threw Wyatt in the battle royal and didn't even
book Orton, I could have done the same, but c'est la vie. Authority-era Triple H vs. Dolph Ziggler would be good, too.

Back when UT's streak was going on I always thought that Undertaker vs Miz would be a good feud....Im going to get around to booking WM's
but I thought the WM after HBK beat Miz would be great. Miz is awesome when he plays the guy who no one believes in that has something to prove. No
one in there right mind think Miz would end the streak....I still think Miz is a superstar...and you can't put him over John Cena and not follow
it up with something.
Id have Miz have taker dead in the ring...just dead and HBK out of no where screw Miz over because he damn sure isn't going to let Miz do
something he can not. Miz can cry forever for this making him a stronger heel.....and if you want you can redo it the following year.
