WEEK1: GIANTS AND HUMANOIDS
I'd like to thank everyone who came to my site and helped make the Cartoon Character Bracket Battle a success. It was a lot of fun. However,
there was obvious room for improvement and I hope to have addressed at least a few issues with our newest Bracket Battle: ROBOTS!
GIANTS:
Voltron vs. Power Rangers MegaZord
Sentinels (X-Men) vs. Giant Robots from Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
Mechagodzilla vs. Iron Giant
Battlemaster vs. Veritech Fighter
HUMANOIDS:
Bishop vs. Commander Data
Gunslinger vs. Roy Batty
Gigolo Joe vs. Sonny from I, Robot
Fembots vs. Stepford Wives
Obviously, there are twice as many battlers to vote for at a time now (but still only 64 total), so hopefully that'll help things move faster.
Also, new match-ups will turn up every tuesday.

While I am very pleased to see that Mechagodzilla made the tourney (even though it will prob job to Iron Giant cuz people have some sort of Jap hatred
that biases their voting), I was disappointed at the apparent ommision of Giant Robot (as in Johnny Sokko and his Giant Robot):

I'll say that while Bambi Meets Godzilla is not great by any means as far as today's standards go, it truly is an animation classic . In
the context of when it was released, it was genius.
