Onslaught,
you'll help make sure we're around for years to come. Toss us as little as
a few bucks, or as much as your generosity allows. Thanks!
I haven't played one of the Smackdown games in years, but WWE All-Stars this looks it might be really fun for a a rental.

It sounds like WWF: In Your House and WWF: The Arcade Game or whatever those awful games were called. That makes me a bit wary, but then again, those
games came out, what, 14 years ago? If it's merely WWE turned into a 3D Street Fighter with over the top moves, it might be worth a rental or
two.
I wonder if I can convince IGN to do the guide for it? I'm already on the calendar to do WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2011, so it shouldn't be
too far-fetched of a request.

It's about time those assholes got him into a game!!! Would they have had to get him to sign any kind of deal to use his likeness in a game?
Because if so I'm excited about his prospects of possibly making the HoF in the next 3-4 years

The game's homepage hasn't updated this yet, but the cover art has been released and has confirmed Randy Orton, Ultimate Warrior, and kind
of surprisingly Hulk Hogan for the game.

Surprised on Hogan's inclusion.
Orton vs Warrior. I can guarantee that is one matchup that I won't be playing.....on either side.

Same here, as I thought his current TNA employment would definitely take him out of the running for being in the game (not mention I kind of thought
that Randy Savage's inclusion was meant to serve as a replacement of sorts for Hogan), but I read a story that said THQ really wanted to use
Hogan and the WWE gave into their wishes.
Either way, I'm glad Hogan's in it, because you really can't do this type of game without including him.

FWIW, if you preorder this from Gamestop you get Ted DiBiases Sr. and Jr. as a bonus. I think Teddy Jr. is kind of a bullshit bonus, but if
that's what I need to get the Million Dollar Man in this, it's worth it... unless Best Buy or Amazon throw up a better preorder bonus
(like they're doing with Mortal Kombat)

Or you can just wait a couple months, get it used for around $30 or $40, and pay the maybe $5 to get them as DLC.
Just sayin'.

Just thought I'd drag this thread back up, as IGN revealed half of the roster for the game today (the other half to be revealed a week from
today). The announced roster so far:
Legends
Andre the Giant
Bret Hart
Eddie Guerrero
Hulk Hogan
Jake Roberts
Randy Savage
Roddy Piper
Sgt. Slaughter
Superstars
Edge
Jack Swagger
Kane
Kofi Kingston
Randy Orton
Rey Mysterio
Triple H
And not "officially" announced on IGN today, but obviously in the game due to previous screenshots: John Cena, John Morrison, The Rock and the
Ultimate Warrior. And they have the following guys listed as downloadable wrestlers: Ted Dibiase, Ted Dibiase Jr, Dusty Rhodes, Cody Rhodes, Hawk, and
Animal.
I gotta say, the additions of Eddie and Jake will probably make me buy this at some point, but probably when I can get it for like $30 or something.

They need to make sure CM Punk is in this, but otherwise I'm really happy with that roster, especially with Hawk and Animal as potential DLC

To WWE's credit, they've been keeping up
If you wanted to get faces along with the names, this is the place to check. Just a few observations: I never really noticed Edge's chin until
they over-exaggerated it in the game (though speaking of chins, I don't know how they make Slaughter's chin normal), Kane kinda has a
Frankenstein look going on, which seems appropriate, and something looks odd on Eddie...I dunno, it just seems like he looks as stereotypically
Mexican as you can make a person look without a sombrero and tacos.
Yeah, though: the game sounds promising, but it's THQ we're talking about, so I will wait until after reviews are out and, if
they're good, I'll get it once it's been marked down or is a part of a Buy 2 Get 1 Free special at Best Buy or something.

4 spots remaining on each of the Legends and Superstars rosters.
Gotta figure Undertaker's a lock for Superstars. Probably Miz. Hopefully Punk. There's 3.
Legends has to have Stone Cold. With our luck we'll probably get Dusty Rhodes, Junkyard Dog....
Does Jericho fit in there and is he a Legend now?

This needs to have 90's HBK in it, especially since Bret is there. Owen would be cool, too.
Speaking of which, has Owen even been in a WWE game since his death? Is there a legal issue here with his widow?

Micro-play'd on Owen and 90's HBK. Hell, I'll take any era HBK, as long as he's in it.
Also - Swagger? Seriously? I know they need to include some current guys but...really? Especially if it's at the expense of someone like
Punk?

No, and yes. From what I understand, she's keeping his likeness out of everything and is also the reason WWE hasn't put out a DVD set for
Owen.

Dusty is already confirmed for DLC, so count him out for the release. Stone Cold has gotta be a lock, right? HBK, too. Yokozuna wouldn't be my
first choice for a game like this but would be a fun addition based on the character models, although I'd rather have Bam Bam Bigelow or
Earthquake and Mr. Perfect as the final two legends.
I would definitely say Taker, Punk, and Miz will be 3 of the remaining current stars. I really don't know if Jericho would make the cut for this
or not.

Screw you, Swagger rules! Horrible mishandling aside, of course.
And williamssl, are you sure about there being only four Legends and four Superstar roster spots left? If that is only half of the roster that was
revealed today, then it seems like there would be 15 more wrestlers to be revealed (since 15 were revealed today).
Though if it is four spots left per roster, we already know Cena and Morrison are on the Superstars roster and Warrior and Rock are on the Legends
roster. So I'd predict Taker and Miz as the last two Superstars (though Taker could really be considered a Legend at this point) and Austin and
Michaels as the last two Legends.
