Bringing back Lara Flynn Boyle after she destroyed her own face with a severe plastic surgery addiction ought to be a real hoot.
WTF? Kill it with fire!

You know, everyone says it's not supposed to make sense, like that's the whole point, dude. And I'm just saying, you know,
that's like an excuse for lazy storytelling. Just don't sell me shite and tell me it's gold, all right? I might be stoned, but
I'm not high. You know what I mean?

Pad, shame on you. The pic you posted of Lara Flynn Boyle is out of context and taken from a bad angle. Have you no heart? This is what she looks like
now after a few corrective surgeries.
Oh me. Besides, LFB's current visage is tailor made for use by this deranged muhfugger right here.
Maybe instead of Lara, Lynch can go with Lana as Laura Palmer's visiting cousin from the old country come to solve Twin Peaks II: The
Incomprehensible Mystery of The Who Did What Now? Make this happen, David.

Too bad Lana and Lena are busy. Means we'll probably be stuck with Lara. Fack!

I hadn't watched Twin Peaks since when if actually aired 30,000 years ago, and am in the process of finishing rewatching it all on Netflix.
''Twas a damn fine show up until the Laura arc ran its course, and then turned into ????? for most of what was the second and final season
Hoping they do like some of the movie reboots and retcon away a bunch of the bad.

Yarp. IIRC, Lynch never really wanted to reveal who Laura's killer was and/or wanted to keep it as indefinite as possible for as long as he
could. His concession to ABC as to whodunit ultimately killed the show because it didn't seem like they had a plan once the reveal was made. I
mean I doubt there was any ultimate rigid and cohesive narrative, because Lynch, but overall there was a unique structure that made the first season
fascinating.
I am, however, over the moon that this will likely be full bugnuts unencumbered, untethered Lynch now that his hallucinogenic fever-dream carny act
can play out on a pay channel. I fully expect to understand on 17% of it upon first viewing and yet loving every moment of it.

Am I the only one watching this? And will I be watching much longer?
Just finished episode 4 in advance of the release of the next episode(s?) this Sunday. This is horrible. Each scene is painful to watch as it
drags on for at least twice the necessary length. There are momentary glimpses of goodness and fine nostalgia but they get buried in the avalanche
of crappy weirdness or is it weird crappiness?).
I don't think I really understood what it meant to hatewatch something before this.

Lol, Tex be like...
Oh geez, you didn't sit nwod to watch it with the missus, did you?
What, you find the Black Lodge disorienting?
As a fan of structure and symmetry in storytelling, for whatever reason Lynch gets a pass in my book for bugnuts expressionistic fever smaerd he calls
films. I've been wholly unnerved and frustrated by the series thusfar, yet I still find it utterly engrossing and fascinating to watch the
insanity unfold. I've seen way too many interviews with Lynch to think him to be the type of guy that gets high on his own traf supply.
He's just one of those iconoclastic, creative types that's an artist in the truest sense of the word.
That being said, I can see why investing in watching a beloved character like Agent Dale Cooper catatonically bumbling about aimlessly in a reality he
hasn't seen after 25 years of being trapped in the Black Lodge can get awkward and tedious after a while. Despite the beautiful imagery of Part
4, it did try my patience at times them dicking around with Cooper and his clones. But, as an admitted Lynch apologist, I just chalk it up to him
being deliberately unsettling to get people back in the mood for the roller coaster to come.
Indeed it is, Coop. Indeed it is.

hatewatched episode 6. Slightly less unwatchable than the previous 4, but most all the scenes are a minimum 2x what they need to be. My son, who
hadn't seen the previous 4 and only watched half of last night, remarked, "just how many separate storylines are they trying to do?" I gave
the only answer I could: " Yes. Yes they are."
Unbelievably, the first 4 episodes are rated 9.0 on IMDB and 5 is 8.8. The world is full of too many Lynch fans. Too too many.

Tex, you don't deserve to live in Washington State. I am currently gorging on garmonbozia and staring at an outlet in an attempt to exchange
places with you as you become my DoppelJanerd. Oh man are you really not going to like it here in the Crack Lodge. The gifs are not what they seem.
As an aside, because of my dad's Parkinson's he behaves almost exactly like DougieCoop, especially when he does the peepee dance. My
dad's name is Doug and everyone's called him, I shit you not, Dougie his whole life. One of my dreams in life is to move to somewhere in
the middle of nowhere Washington State and I guess become Dr. Jacoby because I've been known to go on half-joking, half-serious wild nutter
fantasies like his. And I've worked for a lady named Janey Jones before. I'm pretty much convinced David Lynch has either been hiding in
my closet taking notes or watching me from a portal for the better part of 40 years.
Here, these oughtta gentle you down some. See, all us Peakers ain't so bad. Why, I'm peaking right now.
Oh hey, since we're gif'in Amanda Seyfried and the spirit of BOB is alive and well within me, here have these wonderful NSFWorkies.

After tonight I don't think I can do this anymore. I'm not THAT self-loathing. 6 episodes. The worst of horrible season 2 is The
Godfather to this shit.

Ain't gonna lie, as a die hard Lynch apologist that episode was a fucking chore to get through. I get that we're supposed to connect the
dots along with DougieCoop while he doodles seemingly nonsensical stairs and ladders on those insurance forms but fuck's sake Dave I don't
need to see twenty straight minutes of that shit. Ponderous and tedious is no way to build tension to Coop's eventual reawakening.
Also of note:
- The Murder Midget. If anything, ol' Dave sure knows how to unnerve with the graphic ultraviolence. That scene went on for a disturbingly long
time.
- Speaking of ultraviolence, the kid that got hit by the truck. That was quite an uncomfortable linger on the inconsolable mother juxtaposed with some
piss-poor community theater actors just standing around watching and not helping.
- Laura Dern as Diane. Yes, that Diane. And of course it's Laura Dern, because Lynch.
- Miguel "Albert" Ferrer.

This week finally finally finally started to click a little Plot is actually present and being advanced The extremely long drawn out scenes of
nothingness have reduced in frequency...although the sweeping the floor scene just about killed me. I actually LOLd at the opening scene with Jerry
and Ben. And Laura Dern was fabulous. It's a shame that it's taken until episode 7 of 18 for it finally beginning to show a little
life.
Also where the fuck is Sherilyn Fenn? She was in a reunion photo shoot in some entertainment mag promoting the show and is the only one from that
who hasn't appeared yet.

Whatever "starting to pick up a little" from last week was lost in a backslide that took us to minus infinity. I think this episode was a bet
between Frost and Lynch about whether or not people would not only watch the whole episode but also post glorious reviews about it. I'm sure
the ratings on IMDB will have this at 9.4 or higher.
