Dark Cloud $14.99
Grand Theft Auto III $14.99
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City $14.99
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas $14.99
Rogue Galaxy $14.99
The Mark of Kri $14.99
Twisted Metal: Black $9.99
War of the Monsters $9.99

There is more on the way, and it seems like it took them forever to figure out that, between the original Playstation and the PS2, there were sales to be had on the PS4, but I guess at least they're finally getting it done.

San Andreas in itself is great news! No matter how many times I beat that game, I'm always drawn back to it. Now if only someone at Sony, Midway or whichever video game god I need to pray to would do something about getting Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks on PS3/PS4.

Edited to Ask:

Now are these straight download purchases or the bullshit PS NOW streams?

Last week there was a Capcom sale, where a bunch of the old Street Fighters were cheap. Picked up Super SF2 Remix for $2, that D&D; Chronicles of Mystaria game for $4. This week, there is a Rockstar sale, with a bunch of GTAs. I picked up Red Dead Redemption with Undead Nightmare for $8.

Who knows if I'll ever get around to playing, it, but there it is!

Red Dead is awesome. The multiplayer was fantastic until mods got to cheating and being invincible and garbage like that. Undead Nightmare got too repetitive for my tastes but it was fun for a bit and brought back some (newly turned) characters

Just thought I'd bump this thread back up because there is currently a pretty sweet Resident Evil sale going on right now in honor of the series turning 20. Some of the deals:

Resident Evil (2015 HD version): $11.99
Resident Evil 2: $1.49
Resident Evil 3: $1.49
Resident Evil: Code Veronica X: $4.99
Resident Evil 4: $6.99
Resident Evil 6: $6.99

There are also a bunch of deals on other games in the series (Umbrella Chronicles, Revelations, etc) as well as on level/costume bundles. I had already picked up Resident Evil 3 and 4 in previous sales, so went ahead and bought the HD remake, Resident Evil 2, and Code Veronica to round out my collection. It would normally cost $46 to buy those three games at regular price, so to get them for $18.50 is pretty awesome.

That sale ends on Monday I think. I'm still on the fence. I haven't played 4, 5, or 6, and I'd like to. But that's just adding to the backlog I already have.

Also, here are the upcoming Game and Movie franchise sales the next few weeks:

3/1/2016 - Resident Evil Game Sale - Resident Evil Movie Sale
3/8/2016 - Assassins Creed Game Sale - Hunger Games Movie Sale
3/15/2016 - Naughty Dog Game Sale - Jurassic Park Movie Sale
3/22/2016 - Call of Duty Game Sale - Planet of the Apes Movie Sale
3/29/2016 - Metal Gear Game Sale - Transformers Movie Sale
4/5/2016 - Tom Clancys Game Sale - Harry Potter Movie Sale
4/12/2016 - LEGO Game Sale - LEGO Movie Sale
4/19/2016 - Grand Theft Auto Game Sale - Fast & Furious Movie Sale

If I were to rank my top five favorite games of all time, Resident Evil 4 would definitely be on the list, so I can't recommend it enough. Some aspects of it do feel a little dated (for instance, you can't move and shoot at the same time, no side-strafing, etc), but if you just keep in mind that it's a 2005 Gamecube/PS2 game, I think you'll thoroughly enjoy it.

As for 5 and 6, I own them both and like them, but to me they were just kind of prettier versions of Resident Evil 4 and didn't really introduce anything new to the series (outside of forcing you to team up with an AI-controlled character, which was not a change for the better). Plus they are definitely more action-heavy than the earlier games that focused more on the survival horror aspect, which I know irked some fans of the series.

Looks like some good sales coming up, hopefully they discount stuff in the 60% to 70% off range like they're doing with the Resident Evil sale, because I will definitely scoop some Metal Gear/GTA games up if they're that cheap.

I think I may just get 4, then. I actually did play a little bit of it on GC a long time ago, and remember liking it. That's the one that is in Spain, right?

During the Metal Gear week, I think I'll finally pick up Snake Eater if it's at a good price. Other than that, I don't think I see myself get anything else. I have all of the Naughty Dog games for PS3.

Speaking of Playstation, I finally re-started The Last of Us. I'm already further in the game than I was the last time I was playing it, which by the last save game, turns out to be November of 2014.

I don't think it's ever specified what country Resident Evil 4 is set in, but it does take place somewhere in Europe (and there is a Spanish supporting character in the game). The early parts of the game that take place in the rural village area are some of my favorite in all of gaming, just because Capcom nailed the setting and atmosphere so well (and at the time, the graphics were amazing).

Well, I ended up passing on it, but I'm sure it will be on sale again in the future.

In the mean time, here are two discounts on PSN credit:

$100 of PSN gift cards for $80

$50 for $43

Oh snap! Thanks for the head's up on this this, I will definitely be picking up some of these. The Devil May Cry HD Collection is an absolute steal for $4.99 and I thought I was getting it for a bargain when I got it for $9.99 when it was on sale last year.
