Was getting sick of Patrick's same speech every week, but damn WWE must be furious with him getting eliminated this early as the only decent product out there.

I bet they use some kind of retroactive judge save thing to keep him.

This show is such a joke. I don't know why I continue to watch it but i do. The whole format of the show will continue to make Tough Enough winners a footnote in WWE history.

Glad they finally made it clear this is a useless reality show that no one, according to the ratings, watches or cares about. The show is halfway over, we know nothing about half the fucking cast and know nothing about their potential prospects.

Patrick was the only one who at least knew what was happening in the WWE so I'm disappointed for him that he got voted off in the absolute stupidest and reality way possible.

Paige and Hogan really fucked the voting. There was no point in Bryan saving Patrick or Josh because he had to think the other would lose to WorthleZZ and someone who actually should have been there would be going home. Really, the judges should have been nominating the people too shitty to get on the edits and have no story.

Oh well, I'm done with this show. I can't imagine any of the guys ever ending up on TV or even NXT. Some of the girls will probably definitely make it to WWE because they are hot and fucking Cameron did it and she's got no talent besides being hot.

Mick Foley expressed his disgust with the outcome via social media and said he was done watching. The whole "popularity contest is no way to chose a professional wrestler" thing.

I'm disappointed with the outcome. Also, America doesn't like black wrestlers.

I'd point to Bobo Brazil, Tony Atlas, JYD & Booker T as generational examples of guys who blow that thought apart thru the years.

Then it occurred to me that maybe just a small part of Stamford, CT doesn't like black wrestlers.

Then I thought Dwayne Johnson.

So now I'm thinking Katrina fund raiser parody?

I meant that in the context of voters directly making it so Patrick went home by, well, not voting for him.

Last night was the first time I watched the live Tuesday show. I've watched the post Raw a couple times. Seeing it live changed nothing, the show sucks and Patrick was a douche.

That explains why there are cricket ratings and Patrick is gone.

Although I did think Big Show making the fat guy double over meant he was going home.

Just saw the last 5 minutes of the show.
Judges' strategy backfired again.
The whole format of the show is counter to hiring the best person for the job.
They should fire everyone and start over.

Does WWE Tough Enough turned into American Idol, were people vote for the worst contestant to stay? How else can you explain that worthless sack of shit ZZ getting 48% of the vote? Then you have new judge "The Miz" use the save on a female contestant strictly because she is hot???

I don't think there's a concerted effort to vote off the best people, it's the judges being stupid in who they nominate and not understanding the audience. The audience is voting for the most likeable personality with no consideration of wrestling ability.

It's too bad the Vote For The Worst website folded in 2013.

But, yeah, ZZ is this guy:

Honestly, I have no idea who is supposed to like this show. I love wrestling and I love reality competition shows. I still watch the shit out of Survivor and Project Runway. I even occasionally watch the Z-level competition shows about making desserts or bullshit like that. I even watch E! style stuff like Total Divas and Kardashians on occasion (yes, I'm happily married, shut up)

This is bad by any standard, reality or wrestling. This makes Total Divas look like fucking Shakespeare. At least Total Divas knows how to stage bullshit drama and has performers who can inspire some emotion, even it's the weird vacant numbness that Eva Marie inspires (seriously, I think she's a psychic vampire).

But there's no good drama here. The catfighting is lame and uninspired. The guy's posturing only once was interesting (when Patrick and Josh almost threw down at the Comedy Club) and they squashed that shit as quickly as possible 'cause they don't want people hitting each other (understandable from a liability standpoint, but, well, kind of bad for entertainment value). Project Runway and Top Chef both give you insights to the profession, at least, even when the personalities suck, but guess what? They're hiding almost everything about actual wrestling training for half-assed substandard Survivor challenges and barely there wrestling demonstrations.

Throw in Chris Jericho, one of the greatest mic workers ever, somehow being unable to be anything but a vacant shill in his hosting role (he's always like this as a game show host, I'm not sure why - he's also that way in any non-interview segment on his podcast, when he's just shilling his sponsors he enters this fake enthusiastic auto-pilot).

Two of the judges - Paige and Daniel Bryan - clearly FUCKING HATE the show. They can barely hide their total disdain for the process, the contestants and everything involved. Daniel is nicer about it, seeming more mildly embarrassed than anything, while Paige is clearly like YOU PEOPLE SUCK. Hogan was oblivious and I didn't watch this week to see how Miz was.

Literally the highlight for me when I was watching was the thirty seconds or so of getting to look at Renee Young Who Is Far Too Good For This Shit (which is what her chyron should read on the show).

I mean - the earlier editions of THIS VERY SHOW from ten and fifteen years ago were better than this! HOw did they make it worse? GAH.

Just when you think this show couldn't have any less credibility, they vote off the woman with the best in ring ability.

It's funny that most of the judges and coaches are now actively rebelling against the audience's decision making ability.

I said it before, I'll say it again: Shut it down and start over with no fan vote.

Too bad this is such a dumb and pointless show that even the winner will be tainted by it. I wouldn't mind having a Mandy Sac appreciation thread in the Divas section someday. My, what a lovely creature.

Given how voting went last week, it was obvious GiGi was going home when she made the bottom 3 and Bryan didn't use his save. Sara Lee again in bottom 3 and again the top vote-getter, moving her and Amanda into the final 2.

Next week a dude goes so it'll be Josh or Tanner. I assume Bryan will use his save on someone since this will be the last chance....and guessing it won't be ZZ (who won't need it anyhow), so Bryan saves one of them, the other goes home.

Anyone know how the winners are picked? Fan voting like everything up to it? Judges having more influence or outright decision-making power?

The ambien is in full effect right now, so I'll keep this short and hopefully intelligible.

Is that how the saves work? Because looking in Bryan's eyes tonight it seemed like he was legitimately pondering whether or not to use his save. Granted, that could just be because he knows how to professionally use facial expressions to manipulate a crowd, but I was honestly thinking that he only abstained from saving because he's saving it for whoever goes against ZZ in the finale.

God I hope that's what he has planned at least.

I can't see the original intent being, assuming fans still decided winners as they have each week, that a judge could use a save in the finals thus picking the winner.

However, given that ZZ will win this if left to the fans and assuming WWE doesn't want that, then I can see them changing up unpublished rules to avoid the outcome they don't want. Or just rigging shit.
