Man, not sure if it's on purposes but they're doing a hell of a job building AJ up as a top face. He gets two technical wins over the douchey Champ last night and in trying to do the right thing he gets clobbered which is bound to get him some major sympathy.

Kind of a solid show tonight. Pretty good results all around. Everyone should learn now that the reverse of what Jericho says on his Twitter is going to happen (RIP Mitch!). Rusev gets out of that dying LON gimmick with a convincing win and is now back into the heart of the US Title scene. Props to Charlotte most of all because ever since the turn she's become one hell of a solid heel, with huge improvements in her promos and inside the ring as well.

Noticed that during the battle royal that they really have an overabundance of performers right now. A lot of those guys are no lower than midcard and haven't seen a lot of use in a hell of a long time. I don't want to see a culling but it's probably inevitable because unless they're seeing a lot of use on the house show circuit carrying that many redundant performers isn't going to continue for much longer. When it happens it could be one of the biggest future endeavouring massacres they've ever had.

You are a bastard. A daughter-fucking wildling bastard.

Between Francesca and Mitch, Jericho has been at war with inanimate objects.

Was there live. Superstars was Darren Young over Sandow and Apollo Crews over Heath Slater. No dark matches as far as I know. Tom Phillips replaced the departing Rich Brennan on Superstars commentary.

This... one day. I'd much rather see Balor join "the club" first at Extreme Rules, giving AJ the title, then have a slow build to a match on a major show. It could literally be the ME of Mania next year if they wanted it to be - it's in Orlando, where AJ would be super over from his TNA Days (he got a great pop at Royal Rumble), and Balor would be super mega over from his NXT days.

So naturally, we'll get Cena vs Reigns.

*ahem* Cenation vs Roman Empire.

EDIT: Now that I think about that moniker they're trying to make happen, I have to say, if Sandow ever revives his career to the point he feuds with Reigns, I want him to do promos that consist of reading passages from the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire to the crowd.

* That actually was really sweet by Steph.
* Holy shit. A gutwrench superplex and an apron-to-floor frog splash. Cesaro and KO killing it.
* Man, I don't know where Truth comes up with his schtick, but he is a funny mother.
* Vaudevillains hit their promo notes perfectly.
* Simon Gotch does not have a very bygone era haircut.
* Bubba Ray, "And then you pick him up by his Booty-O's and you crossface him again!" Great.
* Aiden English did a great job of grasping at Kofi and missing as he went for the hot tag.
* Solid match from Emma & Becky.
* I gotta say, I was really hoping for something more from Dean & Steph. It wasn't bad, just wasn't the segment off brilliance I was anticipating. Rest in peace, Mitch.
* Love how Corbin got Ziggler eliminated. Can't believe more guys haven't done something like that.
* Fine battleroyal.
* Jeebus, Reigns gets the hell booed out of him again.
* Reigns with the heel forearm across the face cover!
* Love how they wrote that ending. The guy the fans are booing is with the team getting cheered, and the guy getting cheered is with the team getting booed. Wonderful layering. Shane & Steph, Bravo.
