If Jake the Snake could work in the cartoony 80s SNME era, PG Ambrose can be compelling.

Yep thats exactly what I meant. Reigns was doing just the right thing, saying as little as possible and just having good matches with a variety of
opponents. People would have come round to him in time.
I really don't get the reasoning behind leaving Reigns in the Battleground main event. Rollins/Ambrose would have sold just as many seats, and
having him away for the month only to run in during the main event would be a nice way to take advantage of the situation to build the angle.
As for the Ambrose/PG thing, it may be an accident, but WWE became so PG in the past decade that they can now have Ambrose seem edgy while still
fitting with advertisers/censors.

^^wishful thinking?
The news didn't hit until the next afternoon - this board at least. No way the wanker chanters knew?
They are called "letters" when put together they make "words". Words make moving photos unnecessary.

Which is a reason why Ambrose is so good. If he can't show off his true strengths in a blood match, and he's still WWE Champion and will
probably always be in the upper card, then he's plenty compelling.

Just my opinion in the Ambrose/Reigns comparison, but I believe the pendulum swings a bit farther for Reigns than it does for Ambrose... we already
are into Ambrose, normally great spots, are a bit less spectacular because it's routine amongst a tapestry of good matches. Reigns on the other
hand has to fight for everything, and is starting a bit further back... To his credit he busts his ass and does wow (at least at PPV), but I think in
part that's because the bar is set a bit lower for him to wow us...
Kind of hard for the fans to be making that joke on Monday night
when it wasn't reported until Tuesday morining.

Spinner's initial comment was about Roman reacting to the chant on Monday.

Reading Comprehension 101: Post wasn't saying the fans' chat was a joke referencing the suspension, but rather Roman responding to the
chat was a result of it hitting close to home because quite literally, for 30 days, he can't wrestle.

Guys. I'm pretty sure Flash's remark about the chant was a..what do you call them again? A joke? Boy that takes me back. Remember when we
used to crack those around here?
Edited for more yuk yuks: So, if it's revealed that Roman got busted for some form of PEDs, would that make this an even bigger story? Think
about the repercussions. That would mean all of this hoopla was over making Roman look strong. How fucking meta would that be?

Maybe we are overthinking how they right Roman Reigns off. Didn't Raw end with Ambrose nailing him with a dirty deeds?
Would it not make sense to sell your new champ's finisher as devastating by claiming he put Roman on the shelf with it? Furthermore,
doesn't it sell Ambrose's character even further that he was willing and able to do that to his friend?
Just a thought.

I think the E has to be careful with how they present and explain away Reigns' suspension given the soccer hooliganism that's prevalent
with crowds now. It's already quite obvious to everybody Roman's gone because of a wellness violation, even by his own admission. Having
Deano come out and spew boilerplate nonsense about how he took him out with a Dirty Deeds or somesuch would go against his truth telling, give no
fucks character.
Might be better if he gave a more honest mini pipe bomb wink and a nod to the situation in a promo and get it out of the way rather than trying to
retcon it to him physically taking Roman out. Either way when Reigns returns, especially if it's at Battleground, it's going to be a sight
(and sound) to behold.
Outside of Orton (and barring the Voldemort types of course), who never even got the Guatemalan Insanity Peppers crowd chants, has there ever been a
relatively competent wrassler that has been wrapped up in such an unfortunate shitstorm as Reigns?

A serious attempt at an answer: X-pac? Sean Waltman really could go (or at least to my mind at the time of the 1-2-3 Kid, he could) and then we
really wished he would go somewhere else. So much so, in fact, that "X-Pac heat" became the en vogue term for "get the fuck off my screen/out of
my sight". He wasn't pushed as a world champ, so.. I honestly don't know how well the two compare, but the greasy li'l bastard
sure drew a lot of emotion.

One thing that just crossed my mind: Since Roman's going to be off screen for a month, does this mean they're going to have to schedule
another Slammy Awards so he can win Superstar of the Year when he comes back?

I was thinking the same thing. Just say that Reigns was injured from Ambrose hitting Dirty Deeds (I doubt they'd want to go the whole fake
concussion route, but that would be the most logical injury) and he's going to be on the shelf for a month. Then you have Reigns return after
his suspension is up, pissed off at his buddy Ambrose for putting him out of action.
Of course, the only issue is whether or not the live crowd would shit all over the announcement that Reigns was "injured," since you have to figure
about 85% of the WWE universe knows that he's suspended.

I think we kind of have our answer for how the WWE will approach this, as:
*It wasn't so long ago where they pretty much behind the scenes acknowledged Reigns was off due to a deviated septum surgery while on screen
writing him out via a HHH attack.
*To the best of my knowledge they've never talked about a wellness suspension on screen.
They knew that Reigns was toast days before they had him drop the title, shift it to Ambrose, and then set up a PPV triple threat for just after he
came back- so it would seem that he's in his plans and that this was a deliberate course of action and not a bunch of last second course
corrections/reactions to a surprise situation.
I'm thinking odds are we don't even get an explanation; maybe just a quick highlight of Ambrose hitting dirty deeds as Reigns makes his
surprise return just prior to the next PPV.

I think you've kinda got a Schrdinger's Answer there, but the only cat getting deaded will be Reigns if they go that route. Given the
instatwatter meme culture we live in and the momentum of negative Reigns buildup and handling since The Fateful Slammy Award, fans already made fun
of Roman for the sleeping parts of his matches where he powdered out for long stretches, and people really lost their gatdamned minds when Byron got
caught handing him the blood capsule to cover for the septum issue.
If they so choose to seed the narrative with slick video packages of a regular ol' Dirty Deeds doing Reigns in for an entire month, then
I can only imagine what the already toxic and metastasizing anti-ReBOOOO segments of fandom will do if he does a surprise return at the PPV.
It's not like DK Broiler has season tickets to Raw and he follows them around like a Phish concert, y'know.
However, if they hold Reigns back until after the smoke clears-ish, there is another Chosen One they could use to fill in the gap. If Reigns is Chosen
One 3.0, Cena could be considered v2.0. And that, of course, leaves us with vO.0. Oh please oh please oh please....

With more and more about these reports saying that WWE knew before MITB, I'm a bit nervous about them shoehorning Reigns into the Triple Threat.
They might just want Ambrose to fill-in until he's back. Or even worse just use Ambrose as a tool to have Reigns and Rollins both pin him.
Neatly leaving them both with claims for the Title and naturally making Roman the Champion of RAW, Rollins the Champion of SD, and Ambrose back to
just being a solid hand.
Then again, them purposefully writing him off with a simple finisher is so stupid if they had 48 hours to figure things out. Should have had Rollins
Pedigree him through some cinder blocks.

They probably don't even give a fuck at this point that most will know he's been suspended. They've already gone so balls out in
overpushing this guy for so long despite what the audience thinks... they should just go full on cult of personality with him while he's gone.
Erect some statues of Reigns on either side of the entrance ramp, say he's off bathing Syrian refugees, and he single handedly found the cure to
Zika and saved the Olympics.
Is everyone mad here?

Buddy here has put together a series of vids of fans just giving pure shit to the wrestlers at WWE shows, fella. The ones with Reigns are almost
cringe-worthy, guy. You could tell there was a bit of love back during Attitude towards Vince even when they booed the hell out him, because what he
was doing with the Mr. McMahon routine was so damn entertaining, friend. Reigns though, pal? It's like sheer hatred, dude. Not that the fans are
100% right, because he is a fairly decent wrestler, bro. It's just proof of how badly they've botched him as a solo performer, brah. Not
sure which one of these clips has him saying "I'm the guy" but the way the crowd went evil-insane at him when he said it was indescribable in
its ferocity, mayng.
You are a bastard. A daughter-fucking wildling bastard.
