*head a-splodes* (eta: Just to be clear, I found this to be a GREAT thing. I simply didn't have an exploding-head emoji on hand at
the time.)

Huh. I figured it wouldn't necessarily sound like Demon Kane when someone said Demon King. It does! Or it's more Cole's fault. I
dunno.
Also nooooooooo, now there won't be millions of dollars/doll hairs. Guess Backlund's going to have to make do with his current bow tie
collection.

Day 1 of my honeymoon ends with me being able to catch the second half of Raw as a live TV show for the first time in about a year. Woohoo!!
Fuck me, there's a lot of adverts! Can't see myself staying awake for all of this, it's currently 2:50am on my body clock, so
I've been up for 21 hours.
Owens / Cass seemed like it had been a passable match, although I only caught the end.
I'm glad Jinder Mahal is actually going to be used after taking the contract from Slater, but hopefully he's losing this one.

Shocked they're blowing their wad on The Demon with less than a week to go until Summerslam. Although in all honesty, it's not like this
persona is really unknown to casual viewers. His merch has been littered throughout the crowds for over a year now. He's been featured in
promotional materials. Video games. So I guess it's not a BIG deal. I still wish they'd have held off until Summerslam though because this
crowd is DEEAAAAD.

I'm not an nxt watcher. Flipped back to RAM and thought it was a new chick being introduced. Didn't spend 7 seconds and Flipped

I was wondering what was going to give between Finn debuting The Demon in a match he's likely losing. I guess the solution was debuting it first
on RAW and then having Rollins steal a win on SS.
Overall, B+ on introducing Balor to the main roster. He got a big win out of the gate and the Demon made it but the character work has really been
lacking.

I don't blame the crowd one bit - they haven't been given anything tonight. This show is the very definition of treading water until the
PPV. There's no storyline advancement or anything.

I should have mentioned that I noticed that, and I'm not trying to be negative. That made me happy. It just seemed like they kind of petered out
after that.
edit: Speaking of "holy shit" chants, Sasha's pants deserve one.

Yeah, I
personally am not into Finn Demon, but I'm not a crowd-reaction-denier either. There was definitely SOME kind of pop for the Demon King's
Entrance. I've gotta go with the assessment that "this isn't a dead crowd, it's a mostly-dead show." Totally cruise-controlling
their way into SS, which regardless of being a bad or good thing, it's just a thing-they-do-often-enough-that-I-expect-it.

That's probably the best way to put it. The crowd got amped up for about 15 seconds worth of "Charlotte sucks!" and then just deflated before
the segment was over. It's like the crowd as a whole is dabbling in edging. Or would that be WWE? I'm confused and kinda horny now.
