Paige/Del Rio Trainwreck SuperThread
This is probably looong overdue, but the Paige/Del Rio saga is the gift that keeps on giving. Like herpes. It's dominated the Rumor Crap thread
for weeks, and it's time it gets its own thread.
Here it is. Of course.
Not sure if Matte or Rick can move some or all of the more recent posts about them over here or even if it matters.

I called for this move earlier. You guys wouldn't listen, but here we are.
Paige's dad, Ricky Knight, recently posted the following on his Facebook
"Putting his out there then saying no more,about it to anyone I am totally against my daughter marrying that man statement over", and that's
in verbatim.
Apparently he was very upset about a particular clip of Albert and Paige backstage and he's grabbing her by the neck in a very sexual, creepy
way.

Yeah, this has been a crazy 5 months. Pretty sure this is everything thus far:
- Paige starts dating the married Alberto
- Vegas incident
- WWE separates them in the Draft out of fears the effect their relationship is having on her.
- Del Rio and Paige are suspended the same day for 30 days Wellness 1.
- Del Rio quits/leaves WWE
- Paige claims failure it because of being late for a drug test
- Rumors of Paige having a neck injury surface, backed by the rantings of her family and accusations of WWE mistreating her.
- Del Rio is "attacked and injured" defending Paige from knife wielding maniac. Claim that police and hospital were involved but no proof is
found.
- Paige fails again. 60 days for Wellness 2.
- Paige claims for a prescription that she may or may not have given to WWE.
- Del Rio and Paige's family claim mistreatment by WWE and failure was for a prescription.
- WWE, in a rare public statement on a Wellness failure, deny Paige's story and announce she failed for taking an illegal substance.
- Del Rio posts screenshots of text messages describing a neck injury, claims it is from Paige's doctor and about her, as proof WWE is
mistreating her claiming they don't think she has an injury.
- Paige proposes to Del Rio following a match in PR.
- Paige's father makes statement against the engagement on Facebook before pulling it.
- Del Rio is still married.
And then this popped up today. And well...yikes...

Yikes what, though? Two people in a relationship being caught on camera displaying some kinky affection? I know I've been the annoying
devil's advocate in the Paige/ADR saga, but some things really are just overblown. Maybe I'm just too comfortable with certain fetishes,
but I see nothing wrong with that gif.

Well, aside from that part, I'm also thinking about the fact that Paige supposedly has a major neck issue, and doing something like that just
seems reckless.

Paige has been removed from the opening theme segment for RAW in another sign that the end for her in WWE is nigh.
You know, everyone says it's not supposed to make sense, like that's the whole point, dude. And I'm just saying, you know,
that's like an excuse for lazy storytelling. Just don't sell me shite and tell me it's gold, all right? I might be stoned, but

Man are Del Rio's tattoos ugly.
With so many physical issues(her curved pine, her damaged neck) I think Paige's days were WWE was numbered anyway. Shame, but I like how the
''Anti-Diva'' is the one whose really lived it up to the diva bimbo stereotype with ridiculous antics outside the ring and her
body not being able to handle the road.
Maybe now WWE will stop with the really young signings. Orton is there only positive example of that working out.

Yeah, she's... clearly terrified? What a monster?
I swear, this story evokes a perfect storm of smark slutshaming and pearl-clutching. Oh everyone's stars and garters!
Does this relationship seem like it'll pan out? Nope. Is Paige currently making wise career decisions? Debatable. WWE certainly wasn't
doing anything with her besides meddling in her personal life. Is Alberto some sort of abusive asshole? Not according to anything we've heard.
His worst crime appears to be cheating on his wife with a younger woman, which is at worst sleazy and selfish.
But my guess is, Paige will get her body fixed up and go work the indies and Japan to great success, and Alberto will likely do the same without the
neck-fixing. Whether or not they stay together, the support structure is clearly there for them to land on their feet.
In other news, Reby sky tweeted a dig at them being more crazy than her pretend family. Because throwing shade at peers you don't know is way
classy.

The bigger issue with the gif is that as was already pointed out, Paige is trying to get WWE to nickel up for neck surgery that company doctors are
already saying she doesn't need. Maybe him grabbing her playfully by the neck isn't such a good look.
Also there are rumors floating out there, and take them with salt to your taste, that Del Rio got stabbed by a drug dealer that Paige wasn't
able to pay.

Apparently she went under the knife for her surgery today so, return to WWE or not, she's out of action for three to seven months. Good luck to
her and hopefully she heals properly, and that she and her crazy boyfriend don't do anything to jeopardize her health and safety while she
recuperates.

The operation will reportedly keep Paige out of action for over 6 months.
That's usually as long as it takes for a recently released superstars star to fall a bit as far as indie bookings go, and is definitely longer
than Paige typically holds interest in a relationship.
So I'm calling it now: they'll never get married, and will be separated by the time she's medically able to wrestle again.

This is why I suggested someone napalm the offices and production facilities of the E! channel because they're the motherfuckers most likely to
green-light a show like that. ADR's cartel buddies might be interesting but Paige's drunk chav family/friends won't be.
