It always pisses me off when he hits that move and it leads to a kick-out. It's fucking AWESOME! I've been wondering why they don't make it his finisher for a while. I guess because not everyone can physically pull it off? I don't know.

It sucks that a great ME match had to end with interference, but story line wise it makes sense. Rollins and Balor don't need to be fucking around with the IC belt. Even with Rollins victory over Joe, you knew that feud wasn't over with. As far as Bray and Balor, Wyatt warned him, when he was switched over to RAW, that he has his eyes on him. So at least they are being consistent. I'm actually looking forward to Wyatt versus the Demon King.

Extreme Rules looks to be significantly set already assuming these continue vs getting settled on free tv:

Ambrose/Miz for IC
Hardys/Sheasaro for tag
Reigns/Strowman
Wyatt/Balor
Rollins/Joe

Add women's title, which I can't predict given how that title in particular has seemingly changed hands a bit on RAM.

A lot of repeat from past events, but the extreme rules gimmick lets them freshen the matches up. I'm good with this.

Great, great main event. And, as someone mentioned, the interference was totally warranted and helped move along THREE storylines.

And I gotta agree with Rick on Ambrose: His stuff was great last night. The callbacks to Gorilla and Heenan slayed me, and the segment with him and Rollins was GREAT.

"Dean got tricked once it won't happen again." That line and the whole segment told almost 3 years of story between those two. Not too many 3-minute skits can do that.

Would I like him to tone the goofy stuff down a bit? Sure, but self-important babyfaces are a dime a dozen in WWE, so if he can be that guy who can crack jokes, yet get serious in a split second, I'm all for it.

I love goofy backstage Ambrose and goofy in-ring promo Ambrose. If only there was a lot less of the goofy bounce off the ropes in a way that makes it impossible to suspend disbelief Ambrose.

I thought the women's match was pretty good too...and for the first time I saw something in Alicia Fox...that cat fight roll out she had with Sasha looked pretty good. Which just tells me that the problem with WWE isn't the talent they have ....its they don't utilize it right. In the past couple months we have had Jinder look useful, they dusted off Cameron made her viable, add into that Heath Slater last year, Rhyno, The Miz resurrection.....

WWE just needs to change how they structure their shows, find a way to give everyone some mic time and some ring time (I like the way wrestlers would cut pre-taped promos on their way to the ring once upon a time on Superstars which not only gave characters ....character but also made the match mean something slightly more). THey should try to use their roster over two/three weeks instead of seeing everyone every week...this would help with fatigue of seeing the same person each week. This would create new stars..... and help from rehashing the same matches. They also need to bring back some rankings which will help some of these matches have meaning.

I never understand why WWE makes it so hard on themselves when their talent pool is deeper than it has ever been, and they have nothing but time to fill.

I thought Alexa Bliss did a phenomenal job on the mic last night in the opening segment. She had a pretty extended monologue there and nailed it. In particular, I loved the "we're good" interaction with Nia Jax.

I think my biggest issue with the main event finish (since I agree that Rollins and Balor don't need to be in the IC title picture) is that we're left with Miz vs. Ambrose. AGAIN. On a different show, no less!

I honestly think Vince and Co. are counting on the idea that they recently went at it on a different show so it's "fresh" now because it's new to RAM.

JHC, this^. Even as a noted eye-roller when he gets into his schtick I enjoyed his shenanigans last night. But the doddering spastic when he's doing wacky rope maneuvers nonsense makes him seem waaaay more Santino-esque than what one of their top tough guys should be. Do a Rock-flop and oversell the Stunner, that's fine. But that through the ropes spin turn rebound thing takes way too long and looks awkward to boot. Drop that stuff and he's pretty entertaining.

SDLive is where they beta-test things for the REAL show, which is obviously RAM.

I wish I was being sarcastic, but it has felt like that forever.

Seriously, you say stupid shit like this then have the audacity to act like other people are trolls. Go suck an egg.

Alexa Bliss might be the best woman on the mike, and she gets better in the ring each time she goes out there. To say she can't wrestle is a bad take.

Bliss might not be 2004 Kurt Angle but she's a good athlete. She is certainly no worse than average. I actually like how she is booked. She's like a small Miz. She ain't gonna out wrestle you but she'll out think you which means ... she is a good heel wrestler. Heels don't need insano move sets or work rate. They just need heat and she is a heat machine.

There are a thousand ways to be a good wrestler aside from being a work rate machine.

Edit: I've decided I'm just gonna reply to Royberto like a rational human from now on and see what happens.

Trolling isn't trolling when one person subjectively believes his trolling to be true.

I tried that. It didn't work. Having a rational discussion with someone requires, at least for the fleeting moments of the discussion, that both parties be rational.

As a certain wrestler who I can't stand would say....

If maybe we would all stop giving him attention, he'd maybe crawl back to whatever forum got sick of him before he showed up here. All he does is repost news from other sites that we can find on our own, and troll with "fact"-based stupidity. I'm starting to think it's an elaborate alt-account trolljob.

I mean, jesuspleezus, even -I- can repost news from other sites. It's not that useful a contribution 99% of the time, but I get bored and feel like sharing.

I almost wish they'd find a way to put these two together in a tag because I hate how often singles matches get overdone. I just don't think Joe/Rollins, especially, will be done for a while and as good as the matches will be, I don't wanna see 5-7 over the next few months. They need to move to a more New Japan style with off month shows and do mix & match tags.

Well, theoretically they do have "off-month" shows, if they stick to the pattern of "This month's PPV is RAM/SDL!-exclusive!" Now that the Superstar SHAKEUP~! is complete, they might go back to that.... Or they might not, because who knows anymore?
