I thought about just putting this in the Rumor Crap thread, but Christ, I think this deserves its own thread:

Umm, golly? 
Conclusions:
1) he's bucking for a position in the Trump Admin and thinks this is best way to get Donny's attention
2) Game of Thrones has gone from being a TV show and is now a cultural influencer that's giving sickos all sorts of weird ideas
3) he won't get blacklisted by WWE because Vince once had the same idea for a storyline and doesn't want to look like a hypocrite

Haha, yes I have seen this posted on other boards. "But...she's been daughter." Poor guy has just been screwed up through and post-WWE run. I
wish he could have had a better run with the company and in life. I was hoping things would turn around for Jannetty back in 04 or 05 when Angle was
feuding with Shawn. Marty made a couple appearances and the company was impressed and committed to signing him. Sadly, things did not work out.
At this point, Jannetty should just spill the beans on what Shawn used to do. Probably pissing in ladies' mouths and getting crapped on his
chest.

Nah. If this is what Jannetty is really like under the surface, sober or not, then any sympathy for his self-destructive ways is wildly misplaced.
He's apparently just another sick freak asshole who happened to be a pro wrestler, not some victim of the industry or anything like that which
the real marks out there want to make excuses for. His total moral failure (and total failure as a person) is completely on him, how he was raised,
and the way he's chosen to live his life, not on the business he worked in.

I think at this point they might as well just do it... cause her face is out there now, and hot or not that's gotta be some future husband
repellant.
Also; if you read the article it sounds like he only just met her in 2014... still messed up to want to boink someone you thought was your daughter
for three years, but it's not quite Woody Allen where you basically help raise the kid THEN marry her.
At any rate... Jannetty should stop doing drugs.... now.

Facebook-- go on Marty's page and see if he really posted this!
If he did, I'd be curious of the replies it has generated from his friends as well...

there is this IB Times blurb. Not even wrestling news sites are reporting it.
I looked into it because I have a lot of free time at the moment. I can't confirm that it is fake, but there is good reason to believe it is. I

the top left hand corner and the text is as poorly written as some of the things he has posted to his newsfeed.
However, what strongly leads me to believe it is fake is that a Google search for "Marty Jannetty daughter" turns up nothing but this IB Times story
and a bunch of message boards from the likes of IGN and Reddit that are "reporting it." Two of the first page search results turn up news about him
discovering that he has a daughter. This one,
Wrestlingnews.co links to his April 3, 2014 post about
how happy he is that he found out he's a father. A very small thumbnail sized photo (150x150 at most) of her is included with the message. It is
the photo on this alleged Facebook post that Paddlefoot posted here - which explains the shitty resolution quality, as it has been blown up to look
really big.
Moreover, the Wikipedia entry on IB Times includes a discussion about the poor content quality of the articles it produces. It notes that media
watchdogs and other news sources have reported that the company has been known to pressure its employees to create click-bait and demands that every
article produces at least 10 000 hits. Other allegations of cutting and pasting from other news sites and caring more about creating content than
being a source of quality journalism have been leveled against the company. Some of their journalists have been reportedly threatened with being fired
unless their stories get more hits.
Taken together, I would guess that some dink on Reddit faked the Facebook post, and some IB Times employee who is under pressure to get web traffic
reported it without checking the veracity of the post.
My verdict is that it's FAKE NEWS!

I'd be more concerned about his decision making in regards to airing shit like this on Facebook than the moral ethics of it.
