I'm not going as far as greatest PPV of all time, but it was a very fun show. Jericho/Omega was excellent.

I've been seeing news about it all over the Internet this morning, even on more non-wrestling websites so that is a very good thing for them.

Just google Wrestle Kingdom I watched it on Daily Motion.
Thoughts:
Goto vs. Suzuki was probably my favorite match of the night with the Jr's fatal fourway a close second.
I love Kota Ibushi I wish he wasn't a crazy person he should be the Ace.
Jericho vs. Omega was a really fun match Chris held up his end of the bargain well. My only complaint would be the ref blatantly handing Omega a razor
for his blade job.
The Young Bucks are being wasted in the Jr tag division this is my fourth year of watching WK and I'm pretty sure they've been the opener
everytime.
Naito vs. Okada was really good, but Naito should have won and I just can not for the life of me find a way to get into Okada.
I skipped the trio's guantlet, the heavyweight tag match and the Intercontinental match because the show is so godamn long, but what I did watch
was good to great and would reccomend.

While personal tastes may vary, I think you chose the correct matches to watch and skip. Though the heavyweight tag match was fun.

I wonder if they're planning to have Okada break all of Tanahashi's records and he's bound to win his next 3 WK Title bouts to beat
Tana's five wins in WK Main Events streak or is the idea is that Naito will win until the third time just like Okada needed 3 tries to beat
Tanahashi. Or if Omega is the one destined to end the Title reign.

Okada is like Roman Reigns with AJ Styles-level skills - he's the beloved favorite of the company who's going to be pushed whether you
like it or not. Except he's actually spectacular in the ring, so it kinda feels justified, but then he rolls over everybody else and it still
tastes a little bad.

I think the Roman comparison is unfair. Yeah, he's Superman now but the road to get there had him humbled over and over again. He gets the belt
and is looking to carry the company into the next generation defending the Title against Naito just get the Main Event slot swiped from under them for
Tanahashi vs Nakamura. He gets the Main Event slot next year but it's a devastating loss Tanahashi, crying like a little bitch after getting
whipped in two WK Main Events by the same guy. He gets depressed and gets pummeled by Bad Luck Fale 3 times in a row.
He gets his redemption, wins the Title and finally beats Tanahashi at the biggest stage and from then on gets win after win but this is like his 4th
reign.

I didn't mean it so much as a direct parallel between the two (or even as a criticism). I just think there's a certain sense that Okada is
the 'chosen one' and so it creates a degree of resentment among a portion of fans (perhaps even more largely Western fans who have
different booking expectations). But it's mitigated because Okada's so damn good, it's kind of hard to argue against keeping him on
top.
Ultimately, I think it's fine. People were upset about Omega getting beaten last year and Kenny's probably bigger than ever now.
Okada's got a hell of a rub to give to whoever finally does dethrone him.

I just finished watching this show. Holy crap, it was fantastic! I don't think WWE can put on an event that will top this one. At the end of the
year, we'll probably crown it the best event of 2018!
Every match on the card was good, except Goto vs. Suzuki, which had a hot finish, but was pretty dull overall. And while Tanahashi vs. White was good,
I wouldn't call it required viewing. However, all the tag matches were fun, and Ibushi vs. Cody, Scurrl vs. Ospreay vs. KUSHIDA vs. Takahashi,
Jericho vs. Omega and Okada vs. Naito were all wonderful, and they are all must see matches.
And I have to say that the crowd in the Tokyo Dome was off the charts. I can't remember the last time a crowd at a WWE was as into a show as the
fans were for this one, espcially during the double main event. They were loud in a good way, not in the annoying way that NXT crowds have tend to be.
Their reactions were a net positive and added to the drama and excitement. I can't say enough good things about this event.
I watched Wrestle Kingdom 10 and 11, and I may have seen the ninth edition too (but I can't remember), and while I liked both of those events,
they didn't make me think of NJPW as required viewing, but I think this one has. I'm definitely going to watch their next big televised
event.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...
Nope.
Could it end up winning? Sure. Awards here hardly get any votes. but we are talking about a show whose thread is 2 pages long. With Japan Roman
winning the main event, and whose buzz was heightened by Chris Jericho.
here's a good thread over at Scott Keith's blog talking
about if WrestleKingdom moved the needle of page views. The TLR is no, no it did not.
I'll likely watch the show at some point, but I'm pretty sure I'll FF a lot of it, as the same complaint about Mania, Survivor
Series, ETC for the WWE is true here...that show is too damn long.
But there's will be more talk about Mania. And if AJ, Owens, Braun, and Nakamura all get big matches and the WWE does something special
it'll be the front runner. Or MITB will. Or some crazy loaded NXT show will be insane.
It's a long year...lots of good stuff is still to come, and a lot of it will be seen by a larger percentage of the bOOards.

BFG,
I suppose I could have been clearer about my intentions. I didn't mean for my comment to imply that Wrestle Kingdom 12 would win the bOOardies.
I'm well aware that a lot people still don't bother to seek out alternatives to WWE and that those who don't watch it aren't
going to call it the best event of the year. What I meant by my comment was that it was such a good show that those of us who bothered to watch it
will probably not see another event all year that tops it.
Also, I didn't know that Scott Keith was still a thing. I haven't heard his name in forever. I didn't know he still had readers let
alone whether he was still alive.
With regards to your concerns about the show being "too damn long," I'll tell you the same thing I said after last year's Wrestlemania:
don't watch it all in one sitting. The wonderful thing about today's technology is that you can watch long events in two, three, four, or
however many sittings you want. When you do that, the events end up being quite enjoyable. I thought Wrestlemania was very good, and I loved Wrestle
Kingdom, but in both cases, I watched the events in stages. It is so much easier to endure them that way.

I was there.
Goto and Suzuki fucking ruled
The young bucks opener was good.
Cody and Ibushi had a surprisingly great match and the off-The-apron crossroads got a huge reaction.
The fourway Jr. Tag title match was ridiculously fun and second best match of the night. Seeing Ospreay do his think in person is pretty magical.
Omega vs Jericho was Match of the Night and easily the best match Ive seen live in many, many years.
The main event was excellent, but really, Naito should have won. It hampered the match. One of those rare times the booking decision actually
overshadows the match itself.
My first Tokyo dome experience was excellent!
