I think it's over-the-shoulder, CIA, but I haven't started playing it either.
And Drift, I definitely got a couple of "error" messages as well when I was first trying to download the games. After thinking "Oh, here we go
again" I gave it an hour or two before trying again and they downloaded fine.
Sounds like what happened with yours is a bit shittier though.
I'll go to the papers if I have to.

It's basically operating like I used the "Free Game Coupon 1" for just the license and the expansion pack, so it's acting as if I never
selected the "demo" to be downloaded. Oiy.

Over-the-shoulder... so maybe third-person shooter?
And Drift: try downloading the WipeOut demo normally. There's zero reason that should be locked out. The demo is essentially the "locked full
version" and the other things you downloaded were the keys to unlock the full game.

I played Infamous a little. Haven't tried any missions, but running around shooting lightning was fun, and this may be the first time I've
played a game where when I died for jumping in the water, I could not really get pissed. After all electricity and water really don't mix, so it
kinda made sense.

Yeah, I hadn't thought about that until I was doing one of the missions yesterday and fried myself in the sewer.
I'll say the game is definitely growing on me and I'm starting to get the "1 more mission" itch. Still getting used to the controls, but
they're finally starting to click. I'm also liking the XP to upgrade abilities options. Lets you tailor your character to an extent more
your style of play.

Just started Borderlands. Do I ever get to make my own guns or just pick up dozens of variations on the same guns?
I just had my ass handed to me 7 times in Sledge's safehouse. Time to back out and level up elsewhere.

You don't get to make your own guns.
If you're playing solo (not online MP / not split screen coop)...you should.

I don't play online
I'm up to level 22 and this game is huuuuuge. And all these guns are cool, but come on. When I was a kid, all we had was a pistol, a shotgun, a
machine gun, a rocket launcher, a sniper rifle, a chainsaw and maybe an alien thingy and that was the way we liked it dagnabit!

I just finished beating the new Castlevania game, and while not anything spectacular it was pretty solid... the after credit ending is pretty cool and
when cash is a little more plentiful I might pick up the two DLC expansion packs they are offering.
I just dusted off my copies of Rainbow 6: Vegas 1 & 2, and have been enjoying them... Game keeps pissing me off as one shot'll kill you
sometimes and my team keeps getting in my way so I often just send them to some corner to cover my back. But otherwise solid.
I just picked up the Rockstar pass for LA Noire and want to play that with all the new stuff added in, but I think I'll give it a bit. Red Dead
has been calling to me to replay it ever since I beat LA Noire, but I thinking I might give Fallout 3 a shot first as I own it, and have barely played
it despite my buddies assurances that its pretty awesome.
I usually keep a season of NHL 11 on the go, but with the season over its not appealing to me as much.
Otherwise the only other game I want to take another stab at is Alan Wake.

Alan Wake was odd. I didn't exactly hate it, but I found it very disappointing... it wasn't anything that I thought out would be, and it
was pretty tedious.
I'm playing the new Alice game right now. It's ok. Nothing special, but nothing terrible... just a pretty simple platformer.
Is everyone mad here?
Of course they are, and you are too... otherwise, you wouldn't have come here.

Yeah, Alan Wake was definitely different... I get that they were trying to structure it like a novel, but it wound up having the effect that each
chapter was a little tricky to immerse yourself in as the beats were more novel structured than game structured... So on the whole pretty good, but
playing it was kinda of different.
I borrowed my buddies copy so I didn't get the bonus chapters DLC, so maybe that affected the pace a bit?

Picked up Dungeon Siege III over the weekend. Solid old school hack and slasher. Not a crapload of replay for single play, but alot of fun if you have
a buddy over for drinks, and just want to kill some time with some mindless action/rpg fun. Real throwback to games like Champions of Norath or
Gauntlet Legacies. Nice option of being able to play co-op and online at the same time is also fun, as you can have player two hit start and jump in
even in the middle of an online game.
It is kind of short, maybe 10-15 hours playtime total, but other than that, it's pretty fun, and really intiuitive controls.
