PAC money will be donated to support other candidates, and as long as they have money in it will need to pay somebody to look after it meaning she
could hire herself to do that.
Problem with Bush and Rubio in 2016 is that both will be running calling Florida their home base.
I don't think Christie runs for re-election in NJ, but will say "my job here is done" and then declare himself for 2016 in early 2014 and run
full time. If I had to pick the big four for 2016 it will come down to Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Gov McDonnell of Va (who I think will be the VP
choice of either Perry or Romney in 2012) and Paul Ryan. If the primary calender is the same as it is now - McDonnell wins Iowa, Christie wins
NH(Jeb is second), Bush wins SC(McDonnell is second) and Florida.
Looking to the Dems - not nearly as deep a bench, which is usually the case as the sitting President sucks all the oxygen out of the leadership room.
Dem possibilities are Cuomo, Mark Warner, Tim Kaine, Hickenlooper, Martin O'Malley, Deval Patrick, Brian Schweitzer. Elephant in the room will
be Hillary Clinton - she's saying she's done politically once she steps down from the State Department in 2013, but given the Dem field I
think it might be too hard to resist.

Christie is the only candidate for 2016 that doesn't absolutely scare the hell out of me. Don't know much about any of those Dems but
I'd get behind a Hilary run.
Also, thank you so much for getting this off of page 4 so I don't have to see that scary picture of Bachman anymore
Gee, I wish I was still alive- LuckyLopez R.I.P.
Bachmann: "I haven't had a gaffe... when it comes to the best Republican who take
on Barack Obama and not have any clunker in my record to be able to take him on, it's me."

Can any one explain how lowering corporate taxes to 0% will help America?
I keep hearing this refrain from the GOP and I don't follow. Perry said that companies are basically exploiting loopholes to have lower taxes
outside of our borders, therefore we should lower the corporate tax to even an even lower level of nothing. Then they will magically start hiring
people.
Am I getting this right?

Trickle-Down Economics V2. It didn't work then, and it won't work now, because people won't give money to others unless mandated by
taxes. I love how the GOP always asks us to trust the GENEROSITY of the rich to improve the lives of poor Americans.

Be kinda funny if his N*****head Camp thing and the alliance with the Birthers was what finally did him in. A shocking sign that even TeaBirchers have
taste and ethics? What is this world coming to?

I don't think Perry is finished yet, because somebody needs to be the anti-Romney in the GOP primary and it's not going to be Bachmann or
Cain. I think Newt could really make a play for it but I really don't think he wants it. He might accept a VP gig offer, but I don't
think he has the work ethic for a strenuous campaign nor the desire for the general election oppo research attacks.
Perry is just setting the bar low for himself in debates, so when he does show up and doesn't completely shit the bed it will be a big win for
him from the pundits.
Perry needs to start spending his $17M on ads in Iowa, and spend all his time there between now and January 4th. Iowa will be must win for the
anti-Romney candidate.
Looking at the current candidates and polling - Cain, Bachmann, Perry and Santorum are anti-Romney candidates and the last one standing will get 90%
of the rest of their votes. Romney, Huntsman and Newt are probably splitting votes meaning when Huntsman and Newt drop out most of their votes will
go to Romney. If things did break this way the anti-Romney vote is around 60% so Romney could be in trouble if the anti-Romney pool all move to one
candidate very quickly after Iowa/NH, before SC and Fla.
Bachmann's campaign is broke, but with two months until Iowa, and with so much money already invested in it, she'll stick around to Iowa
at least. If she diesn't finish first or second she'd drop out before NH. Cain's campaign is raising money hand over fist right
now, so he could stick around and be a huge wrench in Perry's candidacy.
I remember Eddie Guerrero.

quote: Stirewalt went on that Perry didnt debate at all when he was running for governor
Hell, Perry never even really campaigned for governor. He was Lt. Gov. and was given the governorship when Bush II left for DC, and once a Republican
becomes governor of Texas, they are pretty much guaranteed re-election for as long as they want the job. Most Texans thought he was a complete joke
long before anyone outside the state had ever heard of him, but the state votes blindly Republican, so as long as "the powers that be" wanted Perry
to be the one in charge, that's who got the job.
Personally, I am quite amused watching him try and convince people that he is qualified to be president, when in fact he was never qualified to be
governor.
