Damien Sandow is getting a ton of chants in this pre-show match, which makes me worried that the smark ratio is way out of whack in this crowd and it might be a third straight year the fans audibly crap on the Rumble.

A friend of mine is at the show and is reporting a lot of, in his words, "IWC derp." So there's that to look forward to.

You'd think the WWE would be aware of that, but... Well, let's see what happens. Mabey. Will they still blame "Daniel Bryan" for ruining things?

also: is it just me, or does The King have new (and funny, but maybe only to me & Renee, and she's paid to laugh) material tonight? Well, "new" being from 1995ish, but still... That's pretty new for Jerry.

Well either the Rumble is great and Im entertained, or WWE shits the bed again and I get to be entertained by the shit on the match the crowd gives. If I'm lucky Roman Reigns non nonchalantly throws out AJ styles :-D . I kid.

Ambrose and Owens going on first; bodes well for either to be in the Rumble later depending on how brutal they are with one another...

I wonder if they gave Jamie Noble a chance to redeem himself with booking this years Rumble, or if they decided last year's was too bad to give him another shot.

I enjoy the shit outta Ambrose and even more so when he points to himself and goes all Wil Ferrell with the, "I'm the hurblegargleburgleragah! I'MMAHURBLEGURBLERAGAH!!!!

Owens or Wyatt wins the Rumble tonight.

That match was alot of fun. I love how Owens character has emotion during the match. He is the best at that in the WWE right now.

Well, Ambrose and Owens was sufficiently brutal that I could see both getting the night off now, but also with how it ended (at least for Ambrose) you could see one of the two coming (limping) in at the very end of the RR.

I think Jericho versus HHH was previously one of my favourite LMS matches; this is definitely up there.

Just a random thought; and it would only work if you thought of the RR being chapter one of a three act play culminating at WM.... but what if the last two remaining guys eliminate each other just as there's the #30 spot left to enter.... thus walking into the title. It'd put a shitty kind of end on the night itself, barring the rest of the PPV being balls out awesome.... and you'd also need just the right heel to luck into this.... But say Rollins was way ahead of schedule?

Damn, last man standing was awesome, they went full bore the whole time (except for ten counts). I like how Xavier is handling the IWC crowd.

Good luck Flippy McMexican Rey Mysterio, Jr. Jr. but I'm lookin' for a Del Rio win here...so Ricardo Rodriguez can make his triumphant return soon...somehow.

ETA: Well played hijo de puta. Well played indeedo.

ETA2: Totally looking forward to the Edge and Christian joint.

Man, I don't know what shocks me more: how old Flair looks, or that he's only 66.... He's starting to look like the Cryptkeeper from Tales from the Crypt...

The Charlotte versus Becky match was well done; even the kind of rest hold head lock that dominated the middle of the match was full of plenty of new and inventive ground work, and contrasted nicely against the later faster paced stuff in the match.

In saying that I wasn't a fan of Flair's contributions to the match, and the finish was a bit fluffy. The post match beat down and lack of someone in Becky's corner would suggest that these two ladies may not be done. Sasha's return is exciting, and set's the stage well for a triple threat at WM... dare I even suggest a fatal four way should Bayley get the nod?

I said it in an earlier post, and maybe the times not quite right, but a women's Royal Rumble of some time (maybe 15 person?) could start to put some extra division building emphasis on the championship as something worth competing for.

Enjoyed the first 4 matches and Sasha with a surprise return/next feud is cool. A little shocked they went with Kallisto but whatever. Glad they're getting behind a new star.

Definitely going to be a non-Reigns crowd there, but I hope WWE just goes to plan with whatever they're doing. He's not getting eliminated for some time. Whether or not the crowd goes along with it, it's kind of out of their hands...but it's not exactly like there's an obvious winner like there was the last two years, nor an obvious favorite anyone is rooting for - just Reigns getting a run here...so hopefully the crowd gets lost in the match itself and don't make an effort to just ruin it.

Should be a fun match regardless...hopefully a cool surprise entrant is in the future.

AJ Styles is #3... not a massive deafening pop, but definitely well recognized by the audience.

ETA: I think Jericho got a bigger pop than Styles... Loved that smirk on Y2J's face before he ran Roman into the corner.

I'm not sure if Roman is just a really good actor, or if he's already winded.... if it's the later, it doesn't bode well for him later in the match.
