Interesting. A smattering of "TRI-PULL-AITCH" chants countering the "Let's Go Ambrose" chants. Is there anybody still doubting Triple H
getting massive cheers at Wrestlemania?
Was that a CM Punk chant? Seriously, Canada?

Can you underscore in a hashtag? And is it just me, or does HHH look like he raided the Hulkster's orange goblin tanning lotion supply?

A "CM Punk" chant during Triple H/Ambrose? I think I just lost my respect for Toronto.

Toronto are hipster douchebags anyway, so I wouldn't worry too much about losing respect for them. ^_^
Plus, they chanted "WE WANT BRET" at Y2J.. Like... That's not even... People, he's .. ugh. This is why the rest of Canada isn't
terribly fond of the self-proclaimed "T-dot".
eta: Did this match singlehandedly kill the crowd, or did they wear themselves out going apeshit for everything else? Tawk amongst yourselves.

Probably not what you want when you want crowd reaction towards Ambrose to convince WWE to make some changes to a main event.
Then again, CM Punk chants are unforgivable during a main event in front of them that has this importance...so F this crowd.
Of course, they've gotten more into it now...so...maybe they'll redeem themselves.

Wait, but I've been told my certainty that the inevitable was happening was not inevitable and WWE has to realize the inevitable results of the
inevitable and inevitably change so believe in the inevitable.

John BROWNCONE blew the fucking match. (Well, okay, kinda over-reacty of me, but that was a huuuuge oopsie.)
That's almost too big a mistake to be a mistake. I mean, like, it could lead to the "corrupt authority" buying themselves a "corrupt ref"
blah blah blah. And voila, a 3 way match is now plausible. hahaha who am I trying to kid? #LolRomanWins

Well that was a nice detour, Back to the scheduled feuds.
Silver lining is that they kept Lesnar off to let the Ambrose vs HHH breath so they might have enough Brock appearances saved up to have him on every
week till Mania.

But Brkk wasn't off tonight, he fought Bray...um.. no, wait. He kinda did get the night off, I
guess.
eta: And yeah, despite the anviliciousness (thank you The Rick) of the main event, that was a pretty good 9.99view. Nattie & Charlotte almost stole
the damn show, Enzo & Cass are a good time, Sami Zayn outta nowhere.. It was a B+ show, at least.

I think that definitely played a part in the crowd's uninterested/bored reaction to a good portion of the match. Ambrose wrestling for the WWE
title is awesome and all, but when the outcome is 99.9999% likely going to be "kick, wham, Pedigree, Triple H wins" it's probably hard to get
too into it. And if that's the reaction that Triple H/Ambrose got in front of a smark-heavy crowd, I pray for Triple H and Reigns at
WrestleMania.
Also, I think Dean Ambrose might be bordering on Davey Boy Smith territory when it comes to main-eventing a lot of PPVs without ever actually being
WWE champion. Off the top of my head (and if we count tonight), he's been in the main event of at least five WWE PPVs without ever being
champion.

That was a different kind of show. New Day vs. Sheamus and Barrett of all people. Jericho vs. Jack Swagger for absolutely no reason. An
NXT match in the middle of it all that nearly stole the show. Charlotte vs. Natalya because Canada. Zayn vs. Stardust because he had his gear
with him, I guess. Brock vs. Bray Harper was a thing. And then the main event with the big tease before the obvious ending.
Interesting stuff. Or uninteresting, depending on your point of view.

Kinda interesting, kinda weird show. Some of the matches were fire and some were just there.
For what it was, I thought the New Day/League match was pretty solid and the NXT tag match was as well. Hopefully this means that Enzo and Cass are
moving off NXT and onto the main roster. The division as a whole needs new blood. I'd like to see Dash and Dawson move up too, but they'd
be dead in the fucking water, what with their no gimmick and not great talking and all. They are great, but they'd get glossed over really bad.
The main event was pretty damn good. The obvious bullshit fakeout ending could hopefully change the main event if they actually wanted to. They
won't want to, but still. Ambrose has taken the ball and run with it. The crowd wants him to be the guy SO BAD that WWE can't deny him
forever. I mean, they can, but Dean deserves more. Big match HHH was pretty good too. He makes up for his limitations well.
The rest of the card was just kinda there. The Stardust/Zayn match seems like it should have been a lot better than it was because what it was, was 5
minutes too long.
Charlotte/Natty was pretty good, ending aside. The ending of that match was god awful.
Jericho/Swagger was pretty awful. Why they thought Swags would be a good face there, I don't know. Jericho's mic work before the match was
great.
EDIT: Forgot about the Lesnar match. What a shitty bait and switch. I was actually looking forward to that match and genuinely felt disappointed they
didn't go through with it. Harper is the most wasted guy on entire roster. He's so good.

Read the results and I see a Triple Threat happening now. Not for the title though. Bray's probably getting inserted into the Brock/Ambrose
match, if for no other reason than to make a WWE-Think way for Brock to lose without actually losing. Or they could just throw Ambrose into an IC
title match and make it a Bray/Brock.

Agreed, I was looking forward to seeing Brock/Bray wrestle and think it was odd booking to have Harper be the opponent and Bray do absolutely nothing.
Then again, I think Bray Wyatt has this weird stigma of losing all the time when he's actually booked really strong in most cases, so it's
not too shocking to me that Harper got fed to Lesnar tonight instead of Bray. Still, it was lame for the WWE to advertise Brock vs Bray and have it
not happen.

I don't know that the WWE would switch up Lesnar/Ambrose three weeks out from WrestleMania, but I could see that happening in an "oh shit, we
don't want Brock to lose but we also don't want Ambrose to lose a big match for the millionth time...let's throw in Bray Wyatt to
take the pin!" way. Though triple-threat matches that don't involve any kind of title or number one contender spot seem almost non-existent in
the WWE, so I don't know that I see Bray getting involved unless the WWE calls a last-minute audible and has Lesnar and Ambrose team up against
the Wyatts.
But seeing as how the Wyatts have nothing currently lined up for WrestleMania, Bray had interaction with Triple H on Monday (including the sly pat he
gave to the WWE title belt), and then avoided getting his ass kicked by Lesnar tonight, I almost wonder if there's some grand plan in
place for them to do something big at WrestleMania (like what if Reigns made a deal with the devil and has the Wyatts help him win the title at
WrestleMania, or some such random craziness?). But then, that falls into the "giving the WWE way too much credit for actually planning out a subtle,
long-term storyline" category and there's no way in hell that happens. Instead, we'll probably get Braun Strowman winning the Andre the
Giant Battle Royal during the pre-show and then Bray will cut a 10 minute long rambling promo afterward about how the Andre trophy is actually Andre
the Giant reborn and he's now a member of the Wyatt Family and is going to lead us all into a glorious new age. And then light will begin to
emit from the trophy and it will shatter and a midget dressed as Bray Wyatt will emerge and two buzzards will swoop down on cue and pick him up and
then the smaller Bray will implore the crowd to literally follow the buzzards as he floats out of AT&T; Stadium. Or something like that.

Sounds like this show was pretty insignificant, aside from the main title scene getting more mucked up than it already was, almost like a more loaded
than usual version of Saturday Night Main Event from the late 1980's.
You know, everyone says it's not supposed to make sense, like that's the whole point, dude. And I'm just saying, you know,
that's like an excuse for lazy storytelling. Just don't sell me shite and tell me it's gold, all right? I might be stoned, but
I'm not high. You know what I mean?
