The Next Big Roman Feud
The Big Short is against HHH retaining.
It is foretold that Gladiator and New Emperor Roman will reign supreme now and forever. He will be fed a jobber of the week on Mondays. The question
arises as to who will be fed to him on a PPV soon thereafter.
Who would you logically deduce as his next victim? Or, if you are among the hopeful, who do you believe can whip this jabroni?
Which post Wrestlemania Roman feud would you like to see the most?

I went with Reigns & Shane vs Authority. I figure that they're going to try to do everything they can to salvage the Reigns project. And
they'll still fail because, going by RAW this week, there were about a hundred times more people booing him for attacking Hunter (probably one
of the top three most-hated mega-heels in all of WWE history) than cheering him. Going by that clip the only ones cheering him were those two
extra-excited (and probably super-horny) girls who went superfan-levels-of-girly-insane-when-the-Beatles-plane-arrived-at-the-airport. If Dallas
cheers like crazy for Hunter at WM they'll panic for sure and they'll do literally anything to save what's turning out to be one of
their worst booking mega-botches of all time, even if it means dragging guys like Shane/Cena/Ambrose/etc down by allying them to him just to get Roman
a little bit up.
Either that or start putting RAW and the PPV's on a 15-minute tape delay so they can use the magic of modern audio technology to change all
those jeers into cheers before broadcasting.
You know, everyone says it's not supposed to make sense, like that's the whole point, dude. And I'm just saying, you know,
that's like an excuse for lazy storytelling. Just don't sell me shite and tell me it's gold, all right? I might be stoned, but

Early projections for Rollins are May, most likely by July. Ditto with Orton. Cesaro, not that he figures in any of this, won't be until the
fall. Some mutterings, that might not be too accurate, say that Big Show's one leg is fucked pretty badly and he's out long term.

Well, Raw is in Philly next week, and Brooklyn the week after that, so that should be lots of fun for him.
Is everyone mad here?

Odds are it will be a big power guy... so either Ryback, or Sheamus will fill the spot traditionally held by Big Show and Kane for that "we gotta
make him look tough" spot they usually go to for new champs.
Neither option is a good idea in my mind.... if it's Ryback the fans are likely to drop a New Jersey sized dump on any match between those two,
and Sheamus would probably get cheered and crapped on at the same time.
Honestly, the best feud for Reigns after WrestleMania would be the one where they don't have to work so hard and fight the fans to get one of
the guys over, never mind both.
I really can't think of a feud that I want to see Roman in post Mania.... I mean he stay's face and it's shit; he goes heel and
there's no way they take the title off of him in his first feud

Rumours are that Vince wants Brock to be in the main event of MANIA due to the money he is making. So if that's true...it's time for BROCK
LESSSSNNAARR to get his title back.
Which would be a pretty unique way to turn Reigns without him directly joining the Authority. You can easily have Triple H taunt Roman and have Roman
sulk over having ANOTHER short title run, leading to Roman making a deal with the devil to become champ again. 4 time Champ Roman Reigns would seem
odd...but it'd give the WWE a top heel.
Or they could just do Roman vs Triple H part II at Payback, part III at Extreme Rules (sledgehammer on a poll match?)...and have a solid two months to
build up somebody (Kevin Owens? Ryback?) or get somebody back early (Cena? Orton?) to do a two match feud for MITB and Battleground. That should get
them to Rollins...and as much as the Summer of Roman would likely suck (minus the good on the undercard), Seth vs Roman at SummerSlam in Brooklyn
would be a VERY good thing. And could give us a true double turn if the WWE can wait that long.

Pieces of what's been said:
HHH obligatory rematch
Move on to interim "big guy that can beat and solidify self as champion, establish credibility, etc while getting more cheers / minimizing boos for
Reigns". Sheamus fits the bill...or Rusev for something different. Not something I necessarily want to see...but he fits the bill. I'd love
it to be Brock...but that's only a solution if plan is to take the belt off Reigns that quickly since he's gonna get mega cheered here.
And then Summer Slam...a returning Rollins is perfect, and perhaps with the aforementioned double turn. Alt would be Brock. Either way,
they're the defacto face in this. Heck - a returning Orton or even Cena would be the defacto face.

How can all of us forget the obligatory momentum killing post-Mania feud with Kane or Big Show? Are we leaving that off the table because it would
require actual momentum?

There is virtually no chance Rollins returns as a heel, I think.
And I know you made the Reigns vs. Strowman comment in jest, but with the rumors of Brock vs. Strowman for SummerSlam, that might be too far off the
mark

Someone earlier said Show was injured or else he would have been the man. I am choosing to accept that as 100% fact without any substantiation
because I want it to be true. Similarly, I am starting the rumor that Kane is off filming another WWE movie and will be out of action through July.
That is probably not true. But I want it to be, and accordingly, choose to now believe, after having made the unfounded statement, that it is in
fact true.
EDIT: Off to the rumorz thread to post it so that it is an "official rumor"

Heel Reigns with "The Authority" (who now have no authority) vs Shane McMahon's newly Promoted Balor Club / Bulletproof.
Also of note: Foley apparently has a network show being lined up, and has announced he's not doing any more one man comedy stand up shows at all
in 2016. Could he be about to do a brief stint as the GM of Raw, allowing a situation where on a week to week basis, one of either Shane or Foley is
present.
I don't see him getting over as the face of the company. But he COULD be the lead heel for a good long run, especially if they do end up
splitting the brands again - it did wonders for guys like Edge and Eddie, hopefully he'd benefit too.

Roman Reigns has the same problem Cena does: we don't boo him because of who he is. We boo him because of what he stands for. The willingfully
ignorant, corporate political structure that attempts to dictate to fans what they think we want without regards to what we actually want.
