NOMINATIONS for the OO Ultimate Inanimate Objects Showdown

So, this week's Raw Thread led to a diversion into the realm of discussing inanimate/non-human objects. The drama with Mitch the potted Plant seemed to stir up a lot of reminiscing about other such items that played a role in storylines.
Link if you need it.

williamssl suggested that we use the idea for our next big showdown here at OO, and I thought it sounded like a lot of fun. Matte has handled past showdowns, but I also know its a lot of work, and I though I'd at least try to help get the ball rolling.

So in that spirit, I thought I'd get the ball rolling in terms of nominating potential contenders for this showdown.

Criteria I'm coming up with from the top of my head (100% open to editing this)
-Cannot be a living thing/person/animal
-Must have been in some way an intergral part of storylines or moments
-Must be unique to a character, or if not - popularized and primarily associated with a single character.
-(Ideas for other criteria?)

I'll come back and edit this initial post as new ideas are tossed out, to see if we can get it to a good number for tourneys. 128 would be ideal, to make the tourney simple. Maybe we nominate as much as we can, and then eliminate the weakest? I'm not sure 256 is likely to happen.

Mainstream
* Adrian Adonis 'Relax with Trudy'

Japanese weirdness
* The DDT Iron Heavymetalweight Championship Belt that won the DDT Iron Heavymetalwieght Championship
* Yoshihiko, the Japanese blowup doll wrestler

Chikara:
* The Eye of Tyr

These are probably more props but
* The Lex Express Bus
* Steve Austin's beer truck
* The DeLeorean used for the Timesplitter's entrance in WrestleKingdom 10.

I've updated the list... a few thoughts on recent ideas suggested:

Ken Shamrock's mouth full of blood - Could someone explain this? I may have missed this somehow in the late 90s...

Ultimate Warrior's steroids - while true, were these ever an on screen element that contributed to storylines?

Virgil - he's alive, so I'm not sure he counts as an inanimate object, as per criteria

Boogeyman's worms - would these be live worms he ate? I'm leaning towards letting this in, but I'm curious on others' thoughts.

I'm revealing my lack of non mainstream wrestling chops.. but could you share any link/picture or something that would help explain these? I'm honestly curious, and between what I might find on google, and what you'd share... I'd trust your recommendation more.

Honestly, I think these work... they match the criteria, non-living, and instrumental to a storyline/moment that had meaning and gave weight to the object. If nobody objects, I'll add them.

Google's prop should be that clock he smashed over his head. The worms aren't inanimate.

Did Bob Orton Sr's cast get suggested yet?

Does RoboCop count? From the movie, there was part of a dude in there. Prob not

Virgil and UW steroids are tongue in cheek entries. Don't count.

Agree with boogeyman and clock instead of worms.

R-Truth's selfie stick, which is literally a stick from a tree, which is about the most R-Truth thing ever.

Not sure if Little Jimmy was inanimate or not but he should be on the list too.

DDT Iron Heavymetalweight Championship Belt:

It's DDT 24/7 championship, and the long and storied history of the DDT Iron Heavymetalweight Championship is documented at the Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ironman_Heavymetalweight_Championship

On April 29, 2014, as the 999th champion, Takagi tried to retire the belt, but he was knocked out by another wrestler and the belt fell on top of him. The ref counted three and the Iron Heavymetalweight Championship Belt became the new champion. The belt wasn't the first inanimate object to hold the title (it's been held by a beer, ladder, desk, chair, and rice), but it's was the best inanimate object to hold the title. I'm sorry to say I can't find the video (used to be on the YouTube)

Yoshihiko: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYygp_ZF5hA. I have nothing to add.

The Eye of Tyr. A recurring object in the Chikara universe. It can be used to gain control of an individual, but if you keep it in your possession after using it, it curses you. It's been an important part of storylines in Chikara for the last six years and the particular details of it are covered here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xo4TZK4r5yE and an example of how it is used is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6YFzv96Vv4. Sure, it's nerdy fun, but it's been a huge plot devise in Chikara.

Thanks for sharing the info on this one. It is now my official dark horse* to win it all and will be the inanimate object I campaign heavily for. I mean, come on - the belt held the belt. How fucking awesome is that?

* ok maybe behind the blow-up doll wrestler. Hopefully they're in opposite-y enough brackets so that they'd first meet up in the finals.

For New Jack instead of the stapler as a specific item, I'd just go with his garbage can of plunder.

Billy Jack Haynes chain

I see Francesca. But no love for Francesca Jr.? For shame! SHAME! [Also: Francesca vs. Francesca Jr. would obviously be one of those Matte Classic 1st Round match-ups, and would somehow generate at least two pages of passionate debate about the worthy victor.]

I also suspect the New Day will generate sympathy for the demise of the last remaining Holy Booty-O from WM32, and sooner than later, given the way they are playing it up.

Some more, hopefully more memorable than minutiae-y:

The Coconut from Piper's Pit (a/k/a "Snuka's Alibi")
Bray's Lantern and/or Rocking Chair
The RAW Comp-u-GM
The Cole Mine
The Brood's Blood Bath
Mae Young's Baby Hand

And perhaps the most perfect example of a lifeless object playing a vital role in a wrestling storyline:

Katie Vick's Corpse
