According to former WWE writer Dan Madigan, Vince McMahon wanted there to be a scene in the move See No Evil where Jacob Goodnight, played by Kane,
masturbated with a three-foot-long dong.
Not sure it's relevant, but whatever the fuck.

If it helps you never forget then, yes, completely relevant.

I thought May 19th only applied when it fell on a Monday?
You know, everyone says it's not supposed to make sense, like that's the whole point, dude. And I'm just saying, you know,
that's like an excuse for lazy storytelling. Just don't sell me shite and tell me it's gold, all right? I might be stoned, but
I'm not high. You know what I mean?

Rubber suit from Batman & Robin or rubber suit from Pulp Fiction?

I saw this on May 19th with my two friends.
As much as the movie sucked, the hardest part of all was actually finding a theater that was playing it. Had to go all the way out to white marsh from
Lutherville, AFTER Smackdown. That was a late fucking show.
As much as we were stupid ass marks for getting hyped (even though deep down, we all knew it was gonna suck), extra fuck WWE for failing to get that
shit playing in most major theaters.

I'm randomly reminded that A.J. Lee/Mendez/Brooks was on Marc Maron's podcast. Good listen.
Amazing to hear her talk about the storyline-pitching stuff, how they pitch angles around her pursuing guys because, HEY, what guy would pursue HER?
The concept of her being attractive was so foreign to them. They had no idea what kind of audience they had.

Batman ... but the one from the 90s with the nipples on the suit. Happy medium.

And yet as luck would have it, even with the more limited release, See No Evil still turned the biggest
box office profit of any WWE film at that point (and probably still holds that distinction since they don't really do wide releases anymore).
Think I read something that suggested that it was due to horror slasher films essentially having a built in audience that will go see anything of that
genre regardless of how terrible it is. And if that's the case, kinda makes you wonder why they wouldn't roll it out for a bigger release.

So, AJ Lee and Bayley are not attractive according to Dunn and McMahon?
That makes sense on why they kept cramming barbie dolls down out throats for the last twenty years.

Ya they like the plastic porn star stripper look appeal...not the above average good looking woman that is somewhat attainable by the normal man.
That said, AJ is a little hottie, how could they not see that rear end? beautiful woman.

It appears they've moved past that mentality. Hopefully the new outlook endures and the Diva era full of Hawaiian Tropic models never returns.

Kelly Kelly was obviously very attractive, but never progressed in the ring past a certain point...they clearly wanted her to be the face of the
women's division.

Someone please tell me that I'm not the only person who clicked on the thread title expecting it to be an Owen Hart remembrance thread, then
thought that everyone was being really fucking dumb in an Owen Hart remembrance thread, only to look up the date of his death and then feel relieved
that it was May 23rd rather than May 19th.
Having cleared that up, I'm now just really confused by the entire thread. I've either missed or forgotten some wrestling related thing
that happened on May 19th.

C'mon Slade! How could you possibly forget the impossibly logical story of when young Kane murdered his parents in a house fire and then
released a shitty horror movie on the same date many years later? It was WWE's Citizen ... um ... Kane.
