That was my initial reaction but then I realized that out of The Shield's three perennial whipping boys, Kane is the only one still around to
take umbrage with The Shield's reunion. Bryan's retired and Ryback is gone.

Interesting. I hadn't even thought about that, thanks to mostly forgetting. I was going along with the general consensus of "it's
probably Joe."
You did it, Nibbles. Now chew through my ball sack.

That makes sense. Roman retired Taker...so Kane wants revenge.
Well done.

Can't believe that THAT didn't cross my mind before Bryan & Ryback did, especially since it'll probably be what they go with.

Something that is odd though....outside of the main event...man Sunday isn't going to be good. Losing Brock/Cena and putting the
SHEILD/Bar/Braun/Miz all in one match really thins things out.
I was kinda hoping the cage match tonight would setup a Braun singles match. Braun vs Joe could be lots of fun.

I literally would brick mine own corn loafs in mine own mouth wholeheartedly for Goalie's idea that Kane is seeking comeuppance for
Taker's retirening at Roman's hands, but I don't trust Vince & Co. with that attempt at nuance.
See WWE, that's how close to greatness you are! Rodgers is done for the season, non-'Murican Hawkey just got up and running,
and the The Don's NFL 'Murica vs. The CommieNazisKneelers are busy Zeitgeisting for Reasons. You could own the time slot if you
could simply articulate why.
Special Note to Goalie and Your Stupid Polite Statistically Non-Violent Country: Joe will return to fuck shit up.
Somehow...somehow..........

I might just be setting myself up for disappointment BUT Survivor Series is a mere 34 days away as of my writing this (and not 2 minutes from now here
in California when it'll in fact be 33 days away BUT I DIGRESS!) and NXT: War Games is taking place the night beforehand. I only mention that
because a pair of menacing, tactical gear wearing goons are likely going to be receiving their curtain call in that main event... What better way to
debut him than as either Joe's backup to take on The Shield OR as perhaps Roman's replacements for Dean and Seth after he does the heel
turn thing that's never going to happen? Hmmm? I'll show myself out.
Oh, and I meant The Authors of Pain up above. AoP, yeah you know me.

I called that on the RAW thread last week..
But now I call someone not Bray or Bo coming out dressed as Sister Abigail and introducing Kane.
Demon vs Demon on tap now in case Bray is gone. Thats why he's here, he was just introduced in the cage match as a way to remind us how badass
he is and protect Reigns and Strowman.
The stupid as fuck bit was having everyone supposedly banned from ringside turn up anyway, thus making the "he was under the ring" cleverness a moot
point.

Nah, since both Bray and Bo were mentioned on TV, I would bet that Abigail is one of them still, although Bray' s absence makes me think
he's fighting something in creative that could make him look stupid or further damage his character.
Neville wasn't mentioned at all. He's gone.

Yeah, I mean haven't we already had the "I'm going to call on the Demon" thing in this feud? And then he proved he could beat him
WITHOUT the Demon? And now he's going back to the Demon? Hopefully Balor gets bonus points from whatever powers-that-be in the back he needs
them from in at least committing to this shit.
I just wanted to add that I enjoyed heel Enzo. Having barely seen any of him and Cass as heels in NXT, the dude definitely has the chops to pull it
off. On the flipside, my girlfriend, who found him annoying as shit as a face, still finds him annoying as shit (just with slightly-less-insane
clothing). So, he may have a portion of the audience that will hate him regardless.

Agree on Enzo. He's a piece of shit but he's playing into the fact that he's a piece of shit perfectly. "I gotta be me", and all
that. Still annoying as hell but now it seems more directed and focused as opposed to random and all over the place the way it was when he was a face.
For all his negatives last night really stood out because that was almost an old-school NWO level of evil assholery he pulled off with the cluster of
scummy cruisers doing the nasty to Kalisto and Mustafa.

that's like an excuse for lazy storytelling. Just don't sell me shite and tell me it's gold, all right? I might be stoned, but

If any of you have listened to the Edge and Christian podcast, they tell a story about Kane where someone misinterprets his real name (Glen) for
"Grum," then asks if his name is Grum. Kane apparently deadpanned, "Yeah. My name is Grum."
Now, I can't call him anything but Grum. That's all I really have to add to this one.

Kalisto got custom side plates for the Cruiserweight Championship.
What's funny is during the 2 weeks Enzo had the title, they never gave him custom side plates.

Maybe even Vince & Wee Bucktoothed Kev had a bit of hesitation about putting shit-emoji side-plates on a WWE championship belt.

It definitely felt like Kane was coming to avenge his brother, between the throat slit and the tombstone. Yeah, Kane does those, but his mannerisms
suggested it was intended to send a message.
Could also lead us to Kane/Strowman being a semi-regular tag team (because all big guys have to tag with Kane for a portion of their careers,
it's WWE law).
I hope Kane's ready to go - this feels like a semi-surprise callup where Glen Jacobs has basically been a regular dude for the last year or so
and now it's like OH WOULD YOU MIND COMING BACK AND HAVING A CRAZY TLC WAR WITH THE SHIELD.
And of course, Glen's all

While that is a light-hearted comment, I believe that Kane-prenticeships are generally & historically a pretty damn good
idea. I mean, he's not responsible for the crap storylines he's been occasionally (often?) saddled with, and has always been a pretty
dang good hoss in a hossfight. Putting BRAAGGGHHHHH with Kane gives the new Monster a chance to soak up any & everything he can from the former
Monster.

Oh yeah, I'm not against it at all. Kane's got a great track record with tag teams and he could provide that veteran mentorship that Braun
needs. And yeah, Kane's had some great tag teams over the years, with Team Hell No being one of my personal top 5 tag teams period.

Kane hates the entire Shield. He feuded with Dean when he was Corperate Kane. Seth always treated him like a bitch when he was Corperate Kane, even
though they were on the same team. Reigns retired his brother. If the writer monkeys can actually remember all this, everything makes sense.
