Onslaught,
you'll help make sure we're around for years to come. Toss us as little as
a few bucks, or as much as your generosity allows. Thanks!
Not surprising to hear, since I thought the last Call of Juarez game was pretty damn boring.
I highly recommend Homefront as a rental... the campaign was on the short side, so it's probably not worth purchasing (unless the multiplayer is
awesome, I didn't try it), but I really liked it.

I'm still addicted as hell to Marvel Pinball (I hit something like 72 million on Spider-Man, which I'm pretty proud of), but I
haven't been playing much outside of NCAA '12 lately. I tried out Alice: Madness Returns, which was OK enough for a rental but not really
anything worth $60. Same with Captain America; not bad at all for a movie game but nothing anybody needs to own until it inevitably drops to $20.
I played through Dungeon Siege III. It's fun for a playthrough but I don't really have any urge to play through it again with the other
three characters. But if you're one of those people who LOVE Diablo/Baldur's Gate type games, you'll probably enjoy it.
Dead Island hits on Sept. 6. I don't know how much of this is hyperbole, but I keep hearing "Borderlands meets Dead Rising" so I'm kind
of looking forward to it.

Alice would have been fun if it was half as long. It seemed like the levels just dragged on fucking forever... which is a shame, since the
environments were pretty cool, and I liked how each level had a different theme to it, but it was almost a chore just to slog through each one. I
still haven't even finished the game.
I'm also playing Duke Nukem Forever which isn't nearly as bad as the reviews would make you think, but it feels really dated.
Like, the exact same game would have been really awesome ten years ago, but now it's just kinda there.

Have you gotten either of the new boards, CiG? I've really been slacking off of Marvel Pinball lately but the Fantastic Four and Captain
America additions may be just the thing to draw me back in.
The reason I've been slacking off of Marvel Pinball lately is because I have been addicted to Infamous which is fucking awesome. Much more
massive than I thought it would be, a helluva lot of fun to control and play, interesting story. It really almost is like "Grand Theft Auto with
superpowers." Depending on whether you're a GTA fan, that could be a good or bad thing. Either way, I am loving it and Infamous 2 will now be
a must-buy for me.

Just read Uncharted 3's review on ign.com wehre it got straight 10's. And I still need to play Uncharted 2. Which I say as I've
just started a game on Batman: Arkham City.
Dammit, my PS3 is going to make me go broke. And possibly break-up my marriage.

I finally downloaded that Pinball FX2 game the other night and bought one of the inexpensive tables to try it out... I liked it well enough (even
though I suck at it), that I think I'll get the Marvel tables that everyone is raving about.
Also, just a heads up about this game-- free for one week only starting today, until it goes to full price, is a Paranormal themed table.

As mentioned on the Raw thread, playing Gears 2 right now. Is it just me, or is it way easier than the original Gears?

About to finish up the main campaign on Arkham City. I'm going to hang on to it for the DLC. I didn't like the Battlefield beta, so
I'm going to skip it and pick up Disney Universe (don't judge me, it's been getting good reviews and looks very LEGO meets Little
Big Planet-ish) to kill some time until MW3 hits. I'm also picking up the Super Mario Land 3D, WWE 12, and Mario Kart 3D when they come out.
I meant to play Costume Quest again to commemorate Halloween. Anyone who still hasn't tried that out, seriously, download it, especially if you
like RPGs. Plants vs. Zombies is also a super addictive game that can help you get into the Halloween spirit.
On the topic of upcoming games, there's one slated for early '12 that I'm more excited for than anything else (with the possible
exception of Borderlands 2):

I picked up Rayman Origins last week, and after playing Batman and Uncharted for the last month and a half(both were awesome), Rayman is a super fun
change of pace. This games got the right combination of feeling old school, looking beautiful, and being sneakily hard without making me want to
punch something. Definitely worth playing.

I've been wanting to pick that one up, I'm a fan of the Rayman series. I played the demo, and it seemed quite a bit like the original,
which is awesome. A 2D platformer that's a nod to mid-90s gaming is a cool change of pace.

A new Marvel Pinball pack came out the other day with Thor, X-Men, Ghostrider, and Moon Knight tables. I just downloaded and am getting ready to get
my comic/pinball geek ON.
