The Pack's definitely winning tonight.
For an upset, I think St. Louis has a very good chance of putting the Eagles to 0-1.

No way Dallas makes the playoffs this year. Finishing at .500 will be a victory.
Unfortunately. And I'm sure I'm the only one who feels that way.

Jesus Christ, what a game.
If only our defense had remembered to show up in the first half...
Anyway, congrats to the Packers, hell of a game, and I really hope we get the playoff rematch that I'm predicting.

So much for a the whining about the new kickoff rules.
I've got the Texans for my eliminator/suicide pick this week. Seems like their most obvious win of the season.

Wow, NFL redzone is awesome. But now I can't decide if I'd rather watch Ravens/Steelers (not Settlers, stupid autocorrect) straight
through or just Redzone all day.

Trust me, by halftime I was ready for Leftwich and his broken fucking arm to make an appearance. SEVEN FUCKING TURNOVERS? It was like watching the
Bengals play in black and gold.
But I try to be a classy Steelers fan even in defeat, so I'll tip my hat to the Ravens. They were beasts today on both sides of the ball. Flacco
was nailing some incredible passes and Boldin looked like he could have caught a chainsaw, blindfolded, in double coverage. I don't know how
much better they looked because Pittsburgh decided to be awful today, but the Ravens might be way better than a lot of people realized. God, I hope
not. But they might be.

Whether we win or lose this game, Cam Newton has three touchdowns so far in his pro debut. I'll take that as a good sign for the future.
And yeah, I'm surprised the Steelers got stomped so bad by the Ravens earlier.

I'm no longer optimistic for the Giants season, maybe we can go winless and get Andrew Luck I think I've had enough of Eli

Ugh, nothing more embarrassing than losing to losers like the Redskins. Manning looked even dumber than Grossman.* good thing I still got the Jets.
*Eli almost wasted a timeout when a) the Giants were on their own 1 and would lose nothing by taking a delay of game and b) there was 1 second left
img eh quarter and delay of game was impossible. Luckily the refs took pity on the moron and ignored him.

Allow me to step in and bitch & moan too. My team started Tavaris Jackson today. He was even worse than I could have expected. And the Mighty
Seahawks got torn up by Ted Fucking Ginn... Jr. And I lost a bunch of money gambling.
At least I got my health. Or did until I smoked a pack of cigarettes trying to watch the Seahawks bumblefuck their way through that game.
That's racism man! I love to racism bro!

Yeah, Eli got out-QB'd by Rex f'n Grossman. I'm well aware of what Good Rex can do and all, but it's been well over 4 years
since the last time Good Rex actually showed up, so his production should be easily beatable by a decent professional QB or a competent defense.
Also, the Bears thoroughly crushed the Falcons today. Regardless of however many offensive linemen the Falcons didn't have starting, the Bears
managed almost all their pressure with four guys, and one of those four guys was an emergency activation. Not to mention Jay Cutler actually had time
to throw passes today.

Yeah, Ginn ripping out the Seahawks heart was pretty amazing.
And how about the Bills and Fitzpatrick? Are they good or are the Chiefs just terrible? Leaning towards the latter considering their playoff exit.
Surprised no orgasmic Panthers fans have showed up. Cam looks like he'll be great.
Also, what's up with the NFL setting up these "special" 9/11 tributes and then capping them off with some talentless POP acts singing the
anthem?

I think one game may be a little fast to consider Cam great. He had a great game for a rookie QB. Lets not forget it was also against a pretty
average Arizona team.

Oh, I'm definitely not naive enough to think that every game is gonna be like this for Cam this year, but as a Panthers fan today was pretty
much all I could have hoped for (outside of winning the game of course). Even if we finish around the 4-12 mark this year, I'm feeling pretty
optimistic about the future with Cam. He may come out and fall flat on his face against Green Bay next week, but his performance today easily blew
away anything Moore/Clausen did last year.
And if anyone cares, his final numbers today were 422 passing yards (new record for a rookie in his NFL debut), two passing touchdowns, one rushing
touchdown, and one interception.

I'm glad for Tony Romo that he seems to be a genuinely good person, because watching him try to win football games is a comedy of errors of the
highest form. The Jets didn't win that game. Romo lost it.
