Oh man. I mean, this is just, wow. It has been a few months since King has done a recap and why? Because for the most part the product hasnt been
terrible. Hell if this was 2009-2010 I was flooding this board. But I get back to the point of just enjoying the product, to trying to enjoy the
product, to justifying the product towell, fuck this company. Not only that but I have to deal with a second rate Raw thread because I guess Rick
walked out too. Or he has anal bleeding. Moving on
Drunk Ginger: HAHEH LOOK IM SIN CARA 3!!! FUCK YOU TYSON YOU LOOK LIKE A FETUS!
Outside the WWE Superstars are out having a BBQ. As you can clearly see here, Ginger boy is trying to order Tamina to go fetch him another beer.
Sheesh, now I can see why everyone hates him. Back to show (unfortunately) We begin with a empty backstage area. Its time to start the Triple H show!
Hunter has a smirk on his face as if to say, The show is about me, it must be 2003 all over again! Where is my 50 Cent album?
Triple comes out and decides to put over the roster the only way he knows how, demoralizing them and verbally burying them. Good work Hunter. Triple H
decides that he doesnt care who hates him he will not back down from power. Ok so its not 2003, its 1999 now? Anyway John Cena comes to the ring. Srs
Cena is srs. Basically breaks down all the bosses hes had. Bischoff, Vince, Vickie, even Adamle (who is probably crying after that abortion known as
the Bears game last night) and decides that he will stay for HHH and the fans. Sheamus comes to the ring and has a new found respect/ sexual fetish
with Triple H beating the shit out of him years ago. Pipe Bomb is next. Basically has a nonchalant grimace going saying Hey, my bad. You guys are
posers for copying me (great another thing for Jericho to bitch about). But Hunter decides to make a match with Cena, Sheamus with Punk as ring
announcer and bell ringer. WERE ACTUALLY GOING THROUGHT WITH THIS! HOW EXCITING!
Vince McMahon comes out to a welcome of You got fired chants before breaking up the match. No bush league shenanigans here buddy! Vince basically
strips Triple H of his duties and appoints (and this is his new long ass title now) The Interim General Manager of RAW, The Executive-Vice President
of Talent Relations, John Laurenitis. Jesus. Good Luck fitting that on your graphic cards. By the way if you are keeping time at home, basically 1/3
of the show is over. Yup 40 minutes and no complete match yet.
Backstage Johnny Ace is shaking hands with everyone coming back. Hey look everyone its Jomo! John basically regrets his decisions and says You Suck
to his new bosses face. Really John? I thought your bitches mouth is what was burying you not your own retardation. Laurenitis books him in a match
with Christian. This should be good. I mean, these guys are two stellar performers who should tear the house down right? Right? Alas, Jomo takes a
job in 3 minutes with a spear. Well Melina, you got your wish. Johnny is getting pushed, strait into the impact zone. Afterwards, Vickies new
alliance known as team studs beat up Jomo and celebrate. I already have a bad feeling about tonight. Like now vibe bad.
Up next is Mark Henry vs Orton. Heres the funny part, after commercials and a small segment between Johnny Ace and Hunter, I completely forgot about
him already. This infuriates Mizark and goes on a rant about why a fat bastard who is injury prone deserves a monster push for the World title. Smell
the irony I hope so because Im laying it on pretty thick. Speaking of thick we get a Big Show/Henry promo for Vengeance. Because at the PPV,
Vengeance will be Mark Henrysor Randy Ortons in this case. Meh, I thought it was a decent transition. Stoopid! Stoopid! (Suck it Rick)
The match lasted maybe 5 minutes. And if you saw the last two PPVs between these guys, you are not missing anything different. After a couple of
reversals, Randy hits an RKO minus the jumping splits celebration. Whats that? You want a clean finish? Not tonight! Cody Rhodes breaks up the pin and
assault Orton. After a few Slams and Cross Rhodes or Roads however they want me to spell it Cody calls for his baggers. He then slowly slides his sack
over Ortons face. (Calm down firewomanand gooker). He then tries a psycho puberty braking laugh. Could have gone better but I hope Cody gets a better
feud from Randy then Christian did.
Last week, The K2 Robot malfunctioned as Skynet went online. And this week she has to go up against The Bel- waitTamnia and DAT SALSA??? Ok. This was
bad. Even by a Divas standards (if such a thing exists). All pointing to Rosa on this one. She cant sell anything and worst of all. She cant even
botched standing still. All she had to do was stand there and let Kelly Kelly flip into her. Jesus. Eventually Eve get the pin via Rolling Thunder
thighs ( I kid, shes hot). Good luck keeping your job after that appearance Rosa.
Speaking of firings, Mr Future Endeavored Super Dave comes out and calls JR to the ring. Oh crap, were in OK which means JR is either going to be
beaten up, fired, raped, or set on fire. Sure enough Ace does so and JR is fired. Thing is there was no initial pay off or set up. He could have gone
on a rant on how he took JRs job or something but instead makes a redneck joke and anticlimactically fires him. Does JR show emotion? Nope, just tips
his hat and bails. Then Michael Cole does a trumpet celebration. Does this mean we get a third guy? Nothing? No Shucky ducky quack quack? Fuck, we are
stuck with King and Lawler in full blown heel mode AGAIN. Goddamnit.
So now we get a recap of Zack Ryder winning a match and people going nuts. Does that mean we get to see Zack? Never mind that shit, here comes Mason.
Mason Ryan, switching piss cup with idiots and people who dont speak English since 2011. Thanks for taking one for the team Sin Caraand
Darren Young. But Hey, at least POD didnt give us another song for AirBoomI think. Anyway its these 3 going up against Team Stud. Match of the night
if it means anything because one, there was a clean finish and two, I think Evan Bourne died after that sick powerbomb. Also if your are keeping track
I think this is a whole month strait where Ziggler has been eating pins. Poor bastard. So Evan dies, Ziggler gets buried, Otunga does nothing
(thankfully) and Mason takes all of Ryders thunder because he is that fucking over. Remember, we voted for him on Power to the people? Fuck
Cena's new action comedy drama bomb...
Up next is Del Rio vs CM Punk. By now Im thinking this show is going to get better just because of the performers in the ring. The match is going, the
crowd is getting into it. Things seem to suck less and then all of a sudden ANOTHER FUCKING MATCH IS STOPPED! Jesus. I guess Teddy Long took
the night off because he was not the one booking a tag team match (playa) spontaneously. So even though these two have a heated rivalry and have been
fighting for a few minutes they have to go up against Awesome Truth to one of the worst build up made by Johnny Ace. Really? They are with Ace? Why?
This is becoming worse then the THEY conspiracy in TNA. Seriously, why is this happening? Has anyone paid attention to their promos?
Remember? This was the problem? All of them! Well, at least they are back to taunting the crowd and back on my TV. I wanted to enjoy this match but I
wanted to bring up the problem from 8 months ago, Cole and King. Each were just yelling at each other so bad I had to do something I hadnt done in
months, mute my TV. From what I gathered though, Del Rio got injured leaving Punk on his own only to have his match STOPPED AGAIN with the
double team and DQ. And not to be out done by TNA, more run-ins! Here comes Triple H! So now after 3 months of hating and beating the shit out of each
other, Punk is forced to be BFF with Hunter. But hey, at least they cleaned house! Faces on top YAAAAY! The show closes backstage with Ace and
Carlton Banks Otunga talking about either the upcoming PPV or David trying to convert Johnny to Islam, bow-tie and all. Couldnt
tell, again TV was muted. Oh well.
Tonight was bad. There is no discussion around it. Some would make the argument of why it was interesting, but with Cole and King back to yelling at
each other. A Heel Boss. Heel DQ beatdowns at every match. It is seriously back to the status quo. Square one. Summer is truly over, and now we are
back to work and school. Back to the grind. Back to hating life. The worst part of it all is that the build and payoff includes individuals that do
not need it. John Laurenitis and Hunter. This is a campaign to build Ace as the big heel, only for one face to be the hero and rise up, take a stand
and get mega over by sticking it to him. The problem? All of that momentum will be wasted on HHH. Not a new guy or midcarder that needs it. Which is
what really sucks. Bring on the muppets. See you guys next week.
No Confidence. 1/5

Besides, aside from Mick Foley, the only WWE personality who didn't some across as an animated GOP talking point was Chris Nowitzki, and
he's long gone. He clearly wasn't self-made-man enough to make in the big arena because only a liberal faggot would let a girly injury
like a traumatic brain concussion end his career.
When Nowitzki was on Bill Simmons' podcast, he said JBL approached him off-screen and accused him of "stealing" the company's money.

I have to admit -- I no longer watch Raw. It's sucked so hard for so long that I don't even pretend to tolerate it. Every now and again
I read the recaps to see what's going on, and on this occasion I'm feeling good not to have gotten invested in this whole angle.
But here's my question -- if Raw sucks so bad, why don't you guys do something about it? Take a page from the Wall Street protests, and
stage a protest of RAW. Request that all viewers skip one week of Raw in protest of how bad it is. Get Rick to hype it, get PW Torch to promote it,
spread the word on facebook, etc. Pick a week that's a few weeks off, and see if you can get WWE to notice that their fans think they suck.
Just a suggestion.

Like most of you, I thought the stuff at the beginning wasn't that interesting. It seems like now would have been the time to bring Punk back if
he stayed gone after Money in the Bank. Lord knows they probably didn't plan this angle out that far in advance, but having HHH need people
since everyone walked out, getting Punk to return would have been huge. Instead, they are teaming together.
That would have been fantastic. HHH announces that at the next PPV, Cena will wrestle the WWE champion...CM Punk. Punk walks out and cuts a promo
while Cena stands there in shock. Then Punk introduces Colt and Ace to wrestle some faces that didn't walk out. The crowd would have gone
banana.

And yet he allowed himself to be a man who supposedly knew his employees would not turn up for work for a full week without arranging any kind of
"game plan" just in case? Wow he truly is the Cerebral Assassin!
Good point. I would have at least liked to hear Joey Styles and/or Matt Striker instead of Michael Cole. He is the reason I fast forward through so
much of the show. As soon as JR was fired, I stopped my Tivo and just watched the baseball and football games.

If Internet wankers made that much of a difference to the numbers, Money in the Bank and SummerSlam wouldn't have bombed, and Raw is Punk
wouldn't have been getting 2.9s.

The Ross thing is either the most intricate angle ever or as per his reaction at the time he's being messed about for someone's bizarre
kicks.
He posted this on Twitter in the last hour:
"In case you haven't seen it the WWE.com, ambush interview w/ me after embarrassingly getting relieved of my post is a bad joke. Actually sad"
The world saw the Ultimate Warrior talking to his hand, what they didn't realise is the hand didn't have a clue what it had just heard.

Forget the 'Internet wankers' thing for a second. As that's a side issue when talking about WWE and the need for change. I've
encountered you before and got the impression your position was "WWE are doing OK! Lay off!" And you seem to be doing something similar here. So,
regarding your examples, take note of the following:-
Punk only TALKED about change, on a show with very little evidence of change. End result? No net positive swing in the ratings.
This week, the show itself WAS different. Hence... More viewers. People stayed tuned in UNTIL the same old shit reared its ugly head. As soon as WWE
hit their samey stride, and went back to the usual stuff, the extra people all threw in the towel. And quite right too.
Yes, there may be some online commentators who want the product to be something it can never be... But, so what?! I want the product to be EXACTLY
WHAT WWE CLAIM TO BE OFFERING. Entertainment! I want it to be the exciting, rewarding, enjoyable product it has been in the past. Except with a modern
spin, obviously. They are never going to get there doing the same old lazy, tired shit. They are never going to get there with people like you
defending them as they offer up the same old lazy, tired shit.

My understanding is that MITB did well (up 20% or so in buys from the year before). I don't dispute the rest, but this definitely did start well
for business and that's why Punk is being pushed as a face now.

The opening 20min or so was decent, everything else pretty much sucked. If they aren't going to give the women anything constructive and decent
to do, they should just remove them from Raw completely. Rhodes is a rising talent, to be sure, but you know this feud with Orton is just gonna end
with Orton beating him cleanly, RKOing him through four tables, then punting him to the skull. If WWE proves me wrong on this, then fine.
We'll see.
It's downright scary how fast and far WWE has fallen off of my interest RADAR in the past few months. The stories are such a tangled mess of
shit that I just don't care again.

* Opening stuff: Cool. Seeing these guys relate to each other and chuckle at what each other is saying, particularly at what Punk is saying, and
being REAL for a change was refreshing. And I've talked about the little things with Cena that make him so good, how about a little thing from
Punk. When HHH offered him the announce position, he put his arm around Punk's shoulder and Punk looked at the hand on his shoulder like "What
the hell?..." and then transitioned to a kid at Christmas opening his Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle. Just
an awesome take.
* As far as HHH "burying the roster again," if I was in his shoes and they walked out on me, I'd bury the mf'ers, too.
* The thing that I really want explained is how Vince got back on TV. I think it would've meant more if it'd been Ace coming out saying
HE just got off the phone with the Board of Directors and that HE was given a job he didn't want. Would've made for some interesting
symmetry. And hitting the teeth/fingers line would've meant more, in my eyes, in the ring than backstage.
* Cody Rhodes has finally hit his stride... think this might've been how long it took Dustin, too. That laugh was pretty maniacal. Almost as
spooky as Golddust's inhaling.
* You could easily tell, even if you weren't on the inside like most of us, that Ace took way too much pleasure in firing JR publicly in his
home state and there was some sort of personal grudge there.
* I would've much preferred if Ace came out and interrupted the Punk/ADR match before it actually started. Would've made more
sense. And good to see Miz & Truth work harder to stay on rhythm with the music on their remix.
* Ultimately at the end, most people aren't satisified with the turn of events here, Ace as IGM, HHH co-main eventing, Cena getting a title shot
(BTW, easily justified by saying it wasn't fair that he got locked out of the Cell), but if you think this storyline is "over" or you "know
what's going to happen next" or "WWE has fucked it up again" then tell me what questions have really been answered here? Do we know who was
behind HHH's deposing? Do we know where Steph (the ultimate wild card) stands in all this? Do we know where Punk's loyalties truly lie?
Will Cena, Punk, and Sheamus be punished by Ace for siding with HHH? If so, how will that affect Ace in the future in the eyes of The Board? Will
they tolerate a similar abuse of power to that of Vince's, which got him zapped? Who will the PERMANENT GM of RAW be? While I agree
this wasn't as good as WWE could have done, it certainly wasn't "one of the worst RAW's ever."

Maybe not "ever", but that was clearly one of the worst RAWs in quite some time.
The concept of the show could have been entertaining, but they neutered themselves at every turn. Every good idea (Punk's commentary,
Sheamus/Cena, Punk/Del Rio, etc.) was immediately cut short in order for what, exactly? More Johnny Ace? Ridiculous.

If the goal was to create a vibe of Johnny Ace = Buzzkilling Douchebag, then Mission Accomplished.
