I disagree completely that the story has been good. The terrible story is part of the reason so many of us hate it. The Mr. McMahon character has
been awful. The stuff from the Rumble was complete nonsense. And what happened on Raw was just plain fucking manure.
In no way does it make any goddamn sense for Roman to be in the match at Fastlane. The Authority has hated him, and wanted to keep him away from the
title since Survivor Series! At the very least, they should have put him through some shit in order to get in on that match.
Even back in the day when Vince was at war with Stone Cold, he would give him the run around before giving him another shot, or Austin would have to
force Vince's hand and make him give him another chance. It was never-- "Well Steve, after all this time, I finally screwed you over
last night... now please enjoy this #1 contenders match I will gladly give you for no reason other than I'm a stupid fucking bozo."
Sorry if you see it another way, but that is shitty ass storytelling.
Is everyone mad here?
Of course they are, and you are too... otherwise, you wouldn't have come here.

This I agree with very much.
Id've ran the Rumble thusly:
Ambrose Vs Owens goes the exact same way until the final spot. Dean goes for a running splash in the corner and gets alley ooped over the turnbuckle
into the table stack. Owens wins.
Slot #23 is AJ (or some stunt booking to provoke a reaction from those in the ring), while everyone's selling the disbelief Roman's
dragged out, beat down in the same way and thrown back in just as Brock hits at #24.
Brock goes suplex happy and finally settles on Roman as the buzzer hits for Bray Wyatt, lights drop, Roman's powdered out and the Wyatt family
have set about Brock.
Brock eliminates everyone but Bray and you can do the stupid return to the ring and dump thing they did originally but have Brock go nuts and destroy
all three Wyatt henchmen including jumping back in and disposing of Bray, they fight to the back with officials aplenty.
#30 is HHH, we get down to the Ambrose, HHH, Roman trio, HHH dumps Roman and when they get to the Apron balancing act Roman reappears and trips HHH
off the apron, Dean wins.
Then you have HHH interject himself into the threeway for Fastlane, if you want HHH to win due to some sort of fallout between the two friends after
they realize that ganging up on HHH is fun but leaves them with the usual triple threat predicament of "someone's gotta win," so be it or you
can have Dean win and carry on HHH/Reigns out of pure grudge match.
Way more logical, probably still dumb, but more logical.

Even more recently with Daniel Bryan, where he held up the show and filled up the ring with Yes movement and stopped the show until HHH had no choice
to give him what he wanted. And even then, he still had to get through a HHH match to get the main event.
And my problem with Reigns has never been his performance. It's never been his character as a person. It's just that I don't really
care about him as a character. And the story has done nothing for me to care about him more in that light. He's been through zero memorable
midcard feuds. He's had not a single memorable promo. He's pretty and has desenct matches. And it irks me watching him get pushed ahead of
all these other guys for over a year when they just need to slow down and let it happen organically. He WILL get there. But I doubt he will ever get
over this way.

And finally, sucks for Cody, but Stardust is clearly out the door now AJ has arrived. Still, it had pretty much run its course anyway.
What does AJ have to do with this? Am I missing a connection?
Yeah, I don't see them firing the American Dream's Other Son just because some skinny-fat (if that applied to Punk, it applies to the
slightly-more-in-shape Styles) white jobber to the stars (in Vince's Mind) got a good pop from the Florida Smarks. I'm being excessively
hard on A.J. here, yes, but for the sake of highlighting the fact that I don't see how the two are related other than "Cody's been
jobbing lately and Spinner thinks that all jobbers are interchangeable, and that AJ will turn out to be the next celebrity job-artist".
Spinner, where can I get what you are smoking? My dealer is a letdown these days by comparison.

Well fuck knows what all that was about. I simply meant the entrance using the Gloves with a split image and the hood that Styles has used for a few
years was adopted by Cody for Stardust. Now Styles is in WWE, and Cody says stardust is over. Never mentioned him being fired, jobbers etc, I guess
the weed is strong somewhere though
On the title subject - they could save it by having a money in the bank match either at Fastlane or Mania itself.
It really wouldnt mater who it was as long as people have hope that neither HHH or Reigns will leave as champ..

Next time, just write what you "simply mean", maybe? What you -wrote- was up for a LOT of
interpretation, and we all seem to have interpreted it NOT the way you meant. So I'd say the misunderstanding was created by the original
ambiguity.
Using the phrase "out the door" in relation to Wrestler X usually implies "Wrestler X will be future endeavored". I would suggest next time
saying "Well, it looks like that's the end of the Stardust gimmick" as opposed to "Stardust is out the door now". See how the latter is
vague and potentially ominous for Cody?

I honestly thought the fact Cody had already announced the end of the gimmick meant explaining it again would have been patronising :-D
Nevermind, one of those things and interesting to see the other ideas. I'm not on board with the idea of Stardust/Cody and those of that level
being considered jobbers.
Anyone at that level is way past that. Sure in the sense of being the one to do the job to bigger names, yeah sure, but to get to the level of having
several midcard runs in WWE (Cody) or making your debut in a big 4 PPV opposite the WWE Champ and Jericho, jobber?
Nah ;-)

When did he announce that? How about a link?

Yeah, I just hear somebody backpedalling and trying to cover up an off-the-cuff "clever remark" that backfired. If there's one thing I know
well from personal experience, it's "trying to be clever and failing miserably".

There! Thank you! That's what should've been done in the first place.
