To be clear, I am not whining about the predictable outcome of Reigns/Styles. I was merely pointing out HOW predictable is was. The idea of Styles
beating Reigns for the belt is so far out of the realm of possibility it is laughable. That's not anything I am upset or pissed about. Merely an
observation, not an opinion.
I call bullshit. Characterizing it as "laughable" implies a negative judgment. Perhaps that doesn't register as being upset or pissed, but
regular usage strongly suggests that you don't like it. And to pick up on Merc's earlier response, if you don't like it because of
HOW predictable the outcome is, then there must be ever so much in the history of wrestling that you also don't like.

Don't get me wrong.... AJ ain't winning.
The question, for me, is "Can AJ get a 'great match' out of Roman?" This
is Nappy-Time Joe we're talking about. I have few doubts about who's wearing the Fancy Belt at the end of the match. What's
important to me is if Mr Styles can elevate The Duke of Deathpunchies to his level, and prove "us" wrong about Roman's skillset. That might
help cleanse the palate a little: if Good Ol' RR can hang with AJ for 30+ minutes instead of having an epic clash of styles.
Daniel Bryan got a pretty rockin' match out of Roman. I imagine AJ Styles could get a similarly decent match out of Roman.

Okay, explain "Brocktoon" to ol' Foxy. I am wracking my extensive reference lexicon and getting goose-egg. I figure if I know the lingo,
y'all will forget what a shit-disturbing know-it-all I am... totally... not...

It's a SNL skit-reference. I tried to youtube up the video for linkage purposes, but I got nothin. Crunk is the go-to for obscure SNL skit
videos. I don't even remember which thread he linked the video in, or I'd just lazy-paste it.
Paging CM Crunk. Can we get Crunk up in here?

You raaaaaang?
Ah yes, BROCKTOON. I'm unable to embed the video but I included it in my introduction of the term/reference waaaaay back at the beginning of
this thread. One of my favorite rando, end-of-the-night, strictly-for-the-writers skits:

Wow. That IS a for-the-writers sketch.
But when and how did Mr. Belvedere's nickname get associated with Roman?

Right?
Back when williamssl started this thread it was because dissertations on what was going wrong with Roman and his push were derailing numerous threads.
Obv, I know. So I suggested that we only refer to Roman by name here, and as "BROCKTOON"* in other threads so as not to Beetlejuice another
discussion about him into existence in a perfectly good discussion thread. Plus it'll help us identify each other in a strange town or
something.
*I decided elsewhere that it should be capitalized.
