Edit: Count me in for Brock/Randy. The only thing that'll make me happier is if Young Randall disguises himself as La Parka somewhere between
now and Summerslam.

This will be the most I've cheered for Young Randall in, like, ever. Even more surprised by having to admit that all of this build up into SS
looks like it's going to be a hell of a lot of fun for the next three weeks.

West coast viewing....
I loved Jericho in the opening segment.
Enzo, on the other hand....
If I didn't watch NXT and was first exposed to him when he came up to WWE, at what point was I supposed to start liking him, if I was supposed
to start liking him at all? This was easily the worst I've seen him on the mic, but i haven't seen him good on the mic......

I don't know what that is, but I'm just going to assume that by posting that, you mean to highlight the 2-3 seconds that he's been
"good".
EDIT: to put "good in "" No no no - not ""good". The "good" that wasn't in "" that now is up there.

It's funny, because I dig Enzo enough that the thought of somebody, anybody else, not feeling the same way has never crossed my mind. Which is
an absurd blindspot to have since the guy is...different to say the least.
I think what I like most about the guy is that he lives and breathes his character. In fact, I don't even feel comfortable using the word
"character" since he's a living embodiment of turning yourself up to 11. I respect the guy because he was one of Bill DeMott's main
targets during his reign of terror, and he persevered to become not only one of the most over members of the NXT roster, but now the WWE roster as a
whole.
I can't find a clip of it on YouTube but there was a pretty damn good video package for Enzo & Cass that they played before their last match
against The Revival at a Takeover that is worth a watch. In lieu of that, I give you this:
...Nobody else on the roster could get away with that, much less pull it off with such ease an my man 'Zo. And if that ain't your cuppa
tea, I got a cuppa haters to join ya. howyadoin?

The Jinder Mahal/Heath Slater bit was cute, but the end result of it is...Jinder Mahal is back. I mean...why? Did anyone care that he got fired the
first time? The only member of 3MB worth a damn is McIntyre/Galloway - and he's doing well enough on the indy scene that he probably isn't
coming back just to be another face in the crowd.
I'm all for Rusev/Roman. If they want to keep Roman face, they should keep him in the midcard for a while fighting a few really hatable guys
and let him build up semi-organically again. But I could easily see him also being sacrificed to get Rusev over if they see a big future for Rusev
(which they should, the guy's definitely got the ability).
I kind of figured the RKO was coming, but Heyman had me enraptured enough that I forgot that I figured it out and still got caught off-guard. Great
job.

Just got finished watching the west coast feed of Raw (2 weeks in a row watching back to back how bout that?) and while it didn't reach the
dizzying heights it did last week I still think it was a pretty solid show. Like I've said earlier, my favorite thing that they are doing right
now is loosening up the rigid story and segment structures that they've been married to for 10+ years. They're allowing storylines and
characters to intersect in a way that makes the show feel more alive. Instead of having what amounts to 3 hours of vignettes starring small casts of
characters, we're now getting a backstage environment more akin to that of the Attitude Era when it was a living, breathing organism. If they
continue on this path and cross-polinate a little more, I think it'll be to their benefit as it produces a more lively show and allows you (or
me, at least) to overlook the squash matches.
Really interested in seeing how Smackdown fares tomorrow night after stumbling a bit out the gate last week. It certainly didn't help matters
that RAM knocked it out of the park last week. Maybe with expectations tempered a bit this week we'll be in for a surprise. Regardless,
I'm looking forward to the debut of American Alpha.

I believe Jinder Mahal got signed around the same time as Curt Hawkins, which I thought to be a clear message of "WWE Needs Jobbers Badly."
Honestly, when I first heard about WWE reaching out to former competitors to fill out the rosters, I wondered why they were going after the likes of
Rey Mysterio and John Morrison. It seemed to me WWE already had plenty of talent at their level, and what WWE really needed was lower midcard/JTTS
type guys. Thus: Jinder Mahal. I doubt he'll be doing much more than that.

Even with the excellent roster, I'm still having trouble with devoting a full three hours to the show. I'm noticing a theme where the
opener/first thirty minutes are excellent but by the start of the second hour when the Nia Jax's of the world start appearing, I tune out and
end up missing the rest of the show.
I guess I'm basically saying Raw needs to be one hour.

I guess I am in the minority in that I thought RAW was pretty bad. Or at least, boring. Also, we have now made it into week two of the brand split and
we already have cross over. I hate that.
As refreshing as last week's RAW was, this week's seemed like the same ol', same ol'. It even had the typical 30 minute promo
to start the show, that ultimately set up the featured match.
It didn't help that the crowd was pretty low energy, to boot. Quite honestly, I don't blame them though as I nodded off a couple of times
during that trek.
Here is hoping that Smackdown is better tonight.

Holy crap. I must've been too busy buffing the lenses on my rose colored glasses, but it didn't even occur to me that Orton was a member
of Smackdown and that that was a crossover. Kind of sours me a little on the fun of that RKOOONW a bit. It's bad enough the brand split took
place weeks before a co-branded PPV, and having someone crossover a WEEK after the "debuts" of the "new" shows only makes things more hinky.
Basically the only person who should be showing up on both shows is the ONE MAN BRAND BAYBAY! Speaking of which, as much as Heath's become a
cult figure in WWE, there is absolutely no amount of ass that he can show to get me to give a damn about Jinder Mahal.

Did you hear that pop? I mean the silence was deafening!
Deafening could also be used to describe Charlotte on the Mic. Good lord don't let her anywhere near a mic anymore. I never thought I would see
the day that a offspring of Ric Flair would be that bad at talking. I think the dog started barking when she started talking.
Finally, Randy Orton is on fire! I have never enjoyed watching him as much as I do now. Who is this imposter and what have they done with the real
Randy Orton?

They did, and even though I watched Smackdown last week and Randy's segment with The Miz. I think my point was more that Young Randall is such a
non-entity in my mind that his roster allegiance didn't even register with me.
