I'll be honest, when I saw OOMike posting in the NFL I thought he was lost. After all, the Buckeyes haven't come out yet.
But he pretty much nailed it. Although Cincy may not have that easy a time getting a bye this year.

I feel like National Anthem kneel downs are the new ALS Ice Bucket Challenges: the first person who did it knew why they were doing it and made some
sort of difference with the money they gave, the second person had less of an impact but did it in support of the first, and now everyone else is
going to start doing it because...they don't actually know, but it looks fun. At least we won't have tons of Facebook videos of people
doing it challenging other people to do it.
Also, today's 9-11. Even if they have reasons, literally the only reason you're out there for it today is for the troops and the people
that were lost. I don't care how much of your CTE makes you think you're spreading a message, show some f'n respect today and just
stand.

And that was a dismal, uninspired performance by my Panthers today. If they keep that up, it's gonna be a long season.

Merc was at Big Papi's final regular season home game. I'll watch the debacle tonight and cry.
ETA: watched it. yeah... Rookie third stringer with a fucked thumb plays QB, not sure what could be expected. It is what it is.
There's a long rant inside of me on the debacle that is NFL management. I think it will stay unformed, but it would reside in the fuck
