Looks like you won't have to worry about that anymore
I don't know about you guys, but I thought that was an AMAZINGLY effective heel turn on Ciampa's part. DIY has probably been my favorite
tag team since their inception, and I swear to God every time they lost a big match I was waiting for Ciampa to snap and go all Sicilian Psychopath on
Gargano. Never wanted it to happen, but knew it was inevitable.
Yet they still managed to shock me tonight. Seriously. They had the copyright info up and everything. I thought I was safe.
On one side, I'm extremely excited for this feud, but on the other it really bums me out to see them broken up before making the jump as a tag
to one of the main rosters. Over their short run as a tag they've crafted more matches that I've actually been emotionally invested in
than any other act in WWE today. (shout out also to The Revival)
A nice touch that I'm not sure everyone picked up on was Ciampa removing his kneepad before trying to cave in Gargano's skull. Remember
their match back at the Cruiserweight Tournament? Ciampa had the match in hand, went to remove his kneepad but decided not to do it. He didn't
want to hurt his friend. That bit of compassion may have very well cost him the match. Gargano wasn't so lucky tonight.
And sweet Christmas. Johnny Gargano. The ULTIMATE sympathetic babyface. Sold the attack like a homicide. The way he was trying to figure out what was
going on, and why his best friend was doing what he was doing. Fucking heart breaking.
edit: Looks like First 9 beat me to the punch in responding to...uh, First 9.

One of the best heel turns I've ever seen, bar none. In addition to the callback knee spot in the beatdown, think about in the match itself:
there's a beautiful spot where the Authors are about to fucking murder Ciampa with a ladder, only for Gargano to leap in at the last minute and
take the shot in his place (and take it like a beast - he looked like he was straight murdered).
THEN to have Ciampa turn on him like that? Fuck. Honestly, like, I was gutted when they lost and then even more gutted at the turn, but that's
GOOD. That's actual emotional fucking investment. Now I want to see Johnny beat the piss out of him.
Oh yeah, and that UK title match was the TRUTH and the absolute match of the year for me so far on top of it.
So yeah, this was a good show.

Average show.
These "10 " chants are the new generation "what" chants and need to stop.
Commentary kills this show. Nigel is so horrible. He is just trash on the mic. Awful.
