But for the rest of you, let's move forward with this tapings recap, compiled from e-mail reports:

-  Dark matches included Curt Hennig, the APA, and Rico Constantino getting wins over developmental talent.

-  For Sunday Night Heat:  Dallas Page beat Christian in a non-title match...  the Godfather beat Lance Storm...  Val Venis did an in-ring promo, and once again borrowed liberally from the Playbook of Ravishing Rick Rude...  Billy and Chucky beat Funaki and Crash.

-  SmackDown! opened up with Rob Van Dam defeating William Regal in a non-title match.  The finish came quickly, as RVD won clean with a Five Star Frogsplash.  After the match, Edge came in from the crowd and attacked Regal.

-  Rikishi pinned the (Big) Bossman following a Bonsai Drop.  Jacqueline was the referee for this match, but didn't figure into the finish or anything...

-  Spike Dudley and Tazz retained the tag titles with a win over Scotty 2 Hotty and Albert in a match that was described by one viewer as being way better than expected; fast-paced and action-packed.  Finish:  Spike took Albert out with a Dudley Dog as Tazz made Scotty submit to the Tazzmission.

-  Backstage, Stephanie and Triple H got into a huge argument that started when Steph started defending her dad and HHH wondered how she could do that after everything Vince has done to her.  Steph says maybe her dad was right about HHH just marrying her for power; HHH counters by saying maybe everybody else was right about what they said about Steph and then walks off.

-  It is announced that the winners of two qualifying matches on SD will meet Monday on RAW to determine who gets a title shot against Chris Jericho at No Way Out.

-  In the first qualifying match, Steve Austin beats Booker T after a Stunner.  Good match.

-  The Dudley Boyz beat Big Show and Kane in a tables match.  The finish came when Show whipped Bubba into the ropes, causing Kane (who was standing on the apron) to be shoved through a ringside table.  After the match, Show and Kane argued.

-  Another Goldust promo airs, with a similar tone to Monday's.  Afterwards, Billy and Chucky are shown backstage positively commenting on Goldust and his unique attire.

-  Trish Stratus took a DQ win over Jazz in a Rumble rematch.  Jazz was on offense for the entirety of the brief match, but was DQ'ed for refusing to break a hold in the ropes.  After the DQ, Jazz laid Trish out with a DDT.

-  In the second qualifying match, Kurt Angle defeated the Rock.  Rock was firmly in control of the match, and had even taken out both Angle and Chris Jericho (who had been on commentary for the match) in a spot outside the ring.  However, back in the ring, in the chaos, Undertaker was able to attack; he laid out the Rock, allowing Angle to steal the win.  It's now Angle vs. Austin on RAW to determine a #1 Contender for No Way Out.

-  Vignettes had been airing throughout the show, with Vince McMahon talking about the terminal disease that has gripped the WWF now that Ric Flair is in charge, and how he's going to have to do something he'll regret to prevent Flair from killing the WWF.  He decides that if the WWF is going to die, he (Vince) will be the one to inject the poison.  He starts to feel good about his decision as the night wears on.  In this final vignette, it's revealed that Vince had been talking to himself in a mirror all night long...  and it's also revealed that the poison that he is going to inject into the WWF is the New World Order.  The familiar nWo logo was shown on the back of Vince's chair to close the segment.

-  The show ends with a Steve Austin interview gone awry, as Angle attacked him backstage and slapped on the anklelock.  The SD! broadcast probably ends at that point, though for the live crowd, the Angle/Austin brawl spilled into the ring, where Austin (assisted by Ric Flair) got the better of Angle (assisted by Booker T).
