WWE VELOCITY RECAP
Supershow Taping Clipfest, Part 2
February 6, 2006

basketball is annoying

your hosts are Steve and Josh - you really needed both of them?

Segment 1: Batista relinquishes the title, Angle wins it. I've got nothing to say. This is still a good video package. (2:52)

Segment 2: Kurt Angle back on RAW - or at least very short clips. Why not show the whole match? It wasn't a great match, but we've got nowhere to be.

(1:11) and onto SmackDown, where they met one on one. If Burchill and Regal were breaking up on SmackDown, why was Burchill still wearing Regal's T-Shirt? Can't Regal team with a pirate? What does Scotty 2 Hotty think of all of this? (2:19)

Segment 3: tag team champions get beat in a singles match for the billionth time. This is going to be much shorter because I don't have much to say and don't care much. I'll have to say, I've never had as much fun watching Kurt Angle matches as I have now, when I'm playing Bryan Alvarez's "watch Kurt Angle not take a flat back bump at all costs." It's not going to be conceding to the back injury which gets him at this point, it's going to be him landing on his side and breaking an elbow or something. (2:00)

Segment 4: Kurt Angle vs Mark Henry clips without the Velocity announcers holding my hands? How am I going to manage? These stills may be as long as the match, especially with the dramatic slow motion. Hey Mark, maybe you want to get an arm up? Guess not. You notice Cole always has to say the really moronic lines? Tazz isn't no one's dummy. CARTOON LIGHTING! When they're too cheap to pay for real stuff. Post match did get as much air time as the actual match. This sold 3 buys. (2:00) Josh and Romero bridge the gap - they at least have a PPV to talk about. Now to SmackDown! Clips here. Let me note that once again, they're making SmackDown! use the RAW set, and they didn't even bother to conceal it this time. At least I'm being cheered up by footage of the Worst Hockey Franchise. Six to Zero! Way to suck! I don't know hockey but I think 4 saves, 3 GA is not a good line. Ah, we're getting a feature on stupid announcer standing with the Northwestern students at the game rather than decent lengthen Loyola highlights. LU-C should be A-Block, but that's fine because I missed the A-Block. Are they still talking? They are still talking. I like how the end lines are Angle saying he will not rest in peace, and Undertaker completely ignoring him and saying he will rest in peace. Tight scripting on that one. (4:03) Josh totally can't wait for No Way Out. That's It.

And here's the (1:00) Royal Rumble promo once again. Hey, this was longer than SmackDown. And both a complete waste of everyone's time.
