OO HEAT RECAP
It All Begins... An Hour Earlier Than Usual!
March 15, 2004

OnlineOnslaught.com/TheCubsFan.com

Post-Pre Script: I totally did RAW/SmackDown! numbers this week, instead of writing them and not using e-mail properly! And predictions even, like I was a contributing member of the OO staff! And despite what you might have seen elsewhere, not only were my picks one hundred percent correct, I would have BLOWN YOUR MIND with my wit and/or wisdom. My dissertation on the SmackDown Tag Team Title match would've have moved you to tears. TEARS. But noooooooooooooooo.

You should just send hate mail to the Rick for denying you that, or perhaps lovely pictures of Lionel Chalmers. If only there was a Chicago team in the NCAA tournament that I could root for against those Flyers in revenge for the Rick doing me wrong...HEY! Go go my third favorite city team!

Actually, if I wanted to whine in a semi-serious way (I hope I don't need to explain when I am and I am not but I just did): This is Your Life as Best Segment of the Week? Riiiiiiight. And I still think either of the weekend stuff was better than the 8 man tag, depending on which week you're throwing it in. The commentary was fun for the eight man match, and the eight man match was fun, but they shouldn't been done together, you know?

Speaking of unjust things, here's the Iron Man match getting a #1 when it should've been five or more lower. I totally thought they were going to leave the match off and was going to give them credit for having the guts to make the decision, though I couldn't figure out how either Austin/Rock or Owen/Bret wouldn't make it. Neither isn't much better. WOO WOO WOO strut

Joke only Shapiro might get: I guess...8!

TV PG DV CC entertainment

Helicopter view off the Times Square area. "From the heart of the Big Apple, from the heart of the most exciting city in the entire world, from the site of WMXX, which is just one hour away, Sunday Night Heat is coming to you from New York City."

Open.

It is Times Square, and it is about ten to fifteen degrees colder than Al (1) and Coach (2) probably hoped it'd be when they agreed to spend the lead up to tonight's show standing outside and talking. It is indeed WMXX, less than one hour away, MSG. Ten blocks away - they're going to need to run at 6:58! Al assures us this is the biggest WM in WM history, and let's start flogging that lineup

WMXX: Triple H (c) vs Shawn Michaels vs Chris Benoit for the WWE Championship
WMXX: Undertaker vs Kane
WMXX: Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg with Special Guest Referee Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Back to the Rumble, where the last match all started, as far as we're concerned. This all what you've seen, with added footage from Thursday. (4:14) If this is an angle, they've kinda neglected to mention it on TV AT ALL. Al wonders if Austin really can be expected to call this down the middle. Order the PPV now! Because it starts an hour early.

RAW Live
Monday - East Rutherford, NJ [RAW]
Sunday - Fort Wayne, IN
Next Monday - Detroit, MI [RAW]
Next Saturday - Cape Girardeau, MO
Next Next Sunday - St. Louis, MO

Press Conference at Planet Hollywood. You saw this on Velocity or you don't care. Like pretty much everything on this show. (1633-2006)

Coach talks about how fired up everyone was at the press conference. Al is hyped for the matches
WMXX: Rock N' Sock Connection vs Evolution
WMXX: Chris Jericho vs Christian
WMXX: Victoria vs Molly, Women's Championship against Hair
WMXX: Booker T & RVD vs Jindrak & Cade vs La Resistance vs Dudley Boys
WMXX: Triple H (c) vs Shawn Michaels vs Chris Benoit for the WWE Championship

They throw it to Josh (3) and Rue (4) for the SmackDown side, live from Madison Square Park. Why is Rue here? Awful shiny dress for standing around outside. Josh hits on Rue, check.
WMXX: Cruiserweight Open
WMXX: Big Show (c) vs John Cena for the US Championship
WMXX: Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty vs Basham Brothers vs World's Greatest Tag Team vs APA
WMXX: Eddie Guerrero (c) vs Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship

Back to Al and Coach
WMXX: Torrie & Sable vs Miss Jackie & Stacy in a Playboy Evening Gown Match
WMXX: Undertaker vs Kane
WMXX: Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg with Special Guest Referee Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Lookat the big Walking Tall poster in Times Square, aka the Rock wanting to be the Coach. Coach and Al have finally drawn a crowd, which is good because they could use the warmth. ORDER NOW.

WMXX: TONIGHT

Sable and Torrie in Vegas. (:54)
I guess Rue and Josh couldn't sit on the bench and look at the camera, and choices had to be made. Josh is stoked for that match, but Rue wants to see
WMXX: Eddie Guerrero (c) vs Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship
And here's the video package (3:28)

Dawn of Christian punking out Jericho before reaching out and touching someone of Monday

Coach and Al let us know they've moved a few blocks closer to MSG. Less running! Coach approves of Christian's tactics. Al tells us Trish and Christian are ticked.
WMXX: Rock N' Sock Connection vs Evolution
Courtesy Confidential: the Rock N' Sock Connection. Yea, they did the whole feature, but they didn't include the bit where Foley came up with the name of the team, which I'd think would've been nice. Why did I watch this on Confidential? Despite the billions of things to do tonight, they don't edit this down at all. I don't think we're getting a match tonight, but that should've been obvious once they didn't mention it in the first segment. Nope, not edited at all. (7:57)

SmackDown! Live
03/15 - Manchester, NH
03/16 - Boston, MA [SD!]
03/18 - Newcastle, England
03/19 - Sheffield, England
03/20 - Aberdeen, Scotland
03/21 - Glasgow, Scotland
Brock IS featured in the ads for the UK dates, so we might just have him to kick around for one more TV show. They don't list the tour name this time, but surely there is one.

Snickers Cruncher unprovoked attack on the Big Show of three days ago.

Lookat, horses! As Rue and Josh talk, I know there's a joke here but I'm not making it. Josh and Rue make more hilarious jokes, as they're in a new location. Josh is scared about Undertaker.

Kane says goodbye, but Undertaker says hello. Again. (2:43) ORDER THE PPV!

WM Recall: Shawn Michaels wins the Iron Man match and the World Championship for the first time, WMXII. Omen?

Spinny camera. Lookat Stacy on a newspaper container. Coach and Al draw the line from Shawn winning there to Shawn winning here
WMXX: Triple H (c) vs Shawn Michaels vs Chris Benoit for the WWE Championship

If this is getting last (video package) here, it'll probably get the same later. (3:42)

Coach says it's time for the takling to end - because they've got to jump in the cab to get to the show! Al: "Get your hand off my leg." Meanwhile, Josh and Rue are going to take a horse carriage together. They're off, and so are we.

Call me crazy, but I get the feeling that these just might have been taped Saturday or before.

That's it.
